Love it. Something I’ve wanted to do myself for a couple of years. You know, you throw one of those 300 amp hour batteries in there and a 2000 W inverter, and you could throw the whole thing in the back of your side-by-side and run power tools, anywhere on the property. 😎
Oh, I love how creative on putting this together, this is not something that I could do but I love the concept and am looking forward on the outcome of it.
I like it. I built something extremely similar to run appliances during power outages. 400 ah lithium battery bank, 2000 inverter and a 100 amp charger. I need to get a charge controller for solar charging and a set of covered power inlet and outlet plugs shown.
Built something similar several years back when Goal zero first came out. 2-32ah gel batts, Harbor freight 45w solar panel kit and 750w inverter, 120v outlet with USB. Built it for half of what Goal zero wanted.
That solar charge controller, and inverter are going to create a lot of heat! You might want to figure out a way to vent the box, but also keep any moisture out.

Very creative

Youd be surprised how easy it all is to put together
Like what your thinking! Nice way to get power in a place with no power. Thank you for the videos!
Thanks for the info JD. I have all those items and will put them in a box for use.
Find some way to mount the solar panels to shade the box.
Good idea
What a creative idea. That’s awesome J.D. Love the idea.
Great job man! I'm think of doing something similar. Thanks for the nudge.👍
Might want to think about mounting the battery so it doesn’t move when you pick up the box.

👍🏼
can you make one of these with the new wattcycle 300ah and a true RV 30A tt-30 plug ? thanks
Very nice, what did you use for the solar powered rv vents?
Neat, what was the total cost of build I wonder ?
I am looking to do something similar. What brand charge controller and inverter did you end up using?
