This is a bit off topic but I wanted to begin by saying how much I appreciate the Cog Hill Family. Life has been tough lately and your Saturday Live had me laughing out loud. You are the dynamic duo of love and laughter for sure. Brooke I love how you laugh at yourself. Reminds me of my grandmother. How I miss her. Sounds like my dear son-in-law. Their toilet leaked a little in the tank, so he removed the entire toilet, bought a new one and a month later his project was completed. He's still balancing it before he caulk it, so tools cover the floor. A multi-state executive for many hundreds is out of his element changing a light bulb. He's my favorite person, honest, kind, devoted, high intelligence, he's a keeper.
@@jills5939 My son in law is a gamer in his spare time. Loves anything Star Wars and is a geek for sure. He works hard 10 hour days at a factory . As a husband and a man he is the most loving , caring , loves God , and loves my daughter. But when it comes time for anything needed done at home - well they hire it done. He has tools but i don't think he knows what they are for. His mom raised him alone so never had a father figure to teach him such things. But I love how he loves my child .

Michelle Holland, Mom told us growing up, "if you don't laugh at yourself, somebody else will!" We learned it was very okay to laugh and make fun of ourselves. 😊😊😊
Yup, when you laugh at yourself and others laugh with you it keeps them from laughing at you behind your back. I spend a lot of time laughing and talking at myself, it might just keep me from going crazy in my old age.
Ok, I started watching y'all back when you stared building the big chicken coop at little cog.. a week ago i went to McMurray hatcheries website and before i know it i had ordered 15 chicks. I dont even have a coop or tools to build one.. back on line and several several hundred dollars later i have tools ordered.. every nail gun I could find, and an auger, saws. I talked a wood working friend of mine to help..got back online and ordered 5 more chicks, so now i need a coop big enough for 20! I pick the chicks up at McMurray on April 9th, i live about an hour from there, im originally from Phenix city, Al. This week if the weather acts right we're going to pick up all the lumer and other supplies .. not to mention keeping chicks inside for 6 weeks or so.. but, watching y'all for so long i know what to do and not do...wish me luck and cross your fingers .... Oh.. and building a big covered run.. let the fun begin..lol

Be sure to look up how to prevent rats from getting in for they'll eat your chickens feet while they roost at night and tag team the killing of chicks. Patio block floor, 1/4 in (if I remember right) wire mesh in walls and into ground around coop. There's lots of info online. Just do a search.Wanted to let u know the horror I learned to protect your babies. So much with chickens we learn the hard way.

Brooke, I was watching how great the goats are coming into the milk room. I had an observation: when they are finished, if you’ll reach under their chin, take the collar by your left hand and keep facing the goat, they will have to turn around on the stand. Right now, when you turn your body in a circle, they tend to wanna jump as soon as your back is to the stand.

Jason you almost killed lambchop!!! While Holly was waiting on you in the beep beep, at the barn, she had lambchop laying next tot eh beep beep. Looks like lambchop survived with a grazing head injury. LOL It was funny watching Holly look at lambchop with a bit of concern but not enough to get out of the beep beep. Noticed how quickly Holly retrieved lambchop when yall returned to the barn. She is so funny. What a wonderful companion and sweetheart she is! What a wonderful life you all have just loving on each other! ENJOY Smith Family you have earned it

I love how active peaches is since moving to that pasture. She’s walking around doing her thing just like at the old cog property. I love watching Jessie with the ball. She has the best personality out of all the donkeys I watch. I bet the more Honey sees Jessie playing the more curious she will get about it.

Peaches was making sure everybody sees her out checking them out. And Honey is looking so much better after the worming and with all the brushing you are doing. I so enjoy watching you and Brooke with all your babies.

I just love the way all the animals come for love, hugs and cuddles as soon as they see Jason. He is an animal magnet. Brooke, don't get your feelings hurt, my niece is the same way. As soon as she show up my animals are all "Mom who".

It doesn't surprise me with the animals learning new routines. The love and care you give them is the reason. When any animal knows they have reliable food, a comfortable place to rest, and feel safe they are responsive to that care and trust the caretakers and will co-operate with what is presented to them.
Cog Hill animals are loved and cared for! I love seeing all the attention given and received going back and forth between both the ppl and the animals, and across the different animals together as well! Example: Mildred, Jesse and Honey playing together in the pasture.
Jason and Brooke-your animals are so trusting and comfortable with you, that’s what makes training them so successful ! Keep up the great work!

One of the many things i love about you all (and there are so many) is that you have kept the amount of farm babies at a reasonable group which allows it possible for you to spend time with each and every one( for example brushing them ) so they look healthy and well groomed.. they love you so much just as you love them. If the two momma-to-be-goats get much bigger, they won't make it through the milking-room door! They're doing so good in their training. There must be some ducklings and goslings about to do an appearance, too! We had another snow last night, so our spring is taking it's time.

The goats are so smart. They got on the stand so quickly. Are you going to add cleaning there utters before they give birth? Another fun time on the farm. Peaches is working on that 10,00 steps. Jessie isn't ready to be a ball player yet. She says her training needs to be better suited for her as she is taller. The animals just took a lazy day today. Peaches said that you have to work but today was a special day off for the animals. I love these videos.
