The Tony Awards, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, hosted a multi-platform celebration on Sunday, June 12th. Academy Award winner and Tony nominee Ariana DeBose hosted The 75th Annual Tony Awards, aired live coast-to-coast (8:00-11:00 PM, LIVE ET/5:00-8:00 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streamed live and on demand on Paramount+. Julianne Hough and Darren Criss hosted “The Tony Awards: Act One,” one hour of exclusive content streaming live, only on Paramount+ (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/4:00-5:00 PM, PT.)
I've loved Matt Doyle ever since I heard him sing Role of a Lifetime. He deserves this award so much.
I didn’t get to see this version of Company, but GOD I want a proshot or bootleg. This man is literally Jamie, and the rest of the cast seem equally exceptional.
So come to NY and see it. It's still running until at least September. Thats literally the point of the Tony Awards, is to get ppl to come see live theater in NYC.
@@LPM12 I don't live in America. It's just not feasible for me to go overseas, let alone to NYC. That's why proshots and bootlegs mean so much to me: I genuinely have no other option to see shows like this, and if we do get anything where I live, it's Broadway's Aladdin or The Lion King or something. There's a whole community of people who don't have that opportunity to see big Broadway shows like this because of where they live.
@@matthewlynch6658 sure, and that's fair, but if every show was proshot, then why would anyone come to NYC to see a show? This is why bootlegs, as useful as they are, can be harmful. Seeing a show on Broadway is meant to be an experienced, and not something that should be able to be duplicated. Assuming youre in Europe, you could've seen this production in the UK during its initial run in 2018, sure not with this cast, but still, it would've been something. I have no solution if you live in Australia.
@@LPM12 every show is pro shot. Just so you know. They just don’t release them publicly with rare exceptions like the final RENT performance. But pro shots are available to be viewed at the NYC Public library iirc and this version of company has one.
@@darth_kal-el oh im aware, I live in NYC, so while I dont rely on proshots, ive spent many an afternoon watching a classic show at Lincoln center. But OP defs means something more commercially available as im sure you know

Have been a huge fan since first hearing him (repeatedly) from the Bare cast recording way back in 2007. So happy for him for this win!
