I was honestly waiting for a proper exhaust sound review and this is the perfect one! Thank you so much for this upload! You don't know how long I've waited for this! THOSE POPS AND CRACKLES ARE THE BEST!!! 😍🔥🔥🔥
@@shayan2_794 I’d argue neither is “better” than the other and the specs are extremely similar performance wise. Imo the 43 v6 sounds much better than the m440i’s i6 , but that’s just personal preference.
Thanks for posting this. Just confirming this is a completely stock GLC 43 with performance exhaust (no tunes or mods)? If it is a stock car, I am really looking forward to mine arriving..! Sounds phenomenal!
@@jrmtl is that the AMG Drivers Package you referring to for $3000??? Can you get it by itself without the Premium Package is what i want to know because it adds substantial amount of money. How exactly did you spec it, if you don't mind telling me and what is it going to cost you out the door all in.
@@olegk455 Yes the AMG package with a few other things including PE exhaust and 21" wheels although you need to get it with the premium package in Canada. I actually got 6% off total.
Hi, nice video! But I am really confused, I picked up a brand new 2020 GLC43 with the AMG performance system (U78) yesterday. NO pops and cracks at all! Euro spec (Sweden). Been looking at different MB forum and it might be an ECU programing. Pops and cracks is completly controlled by software, fuel is injected in the exhaust system and ignited. Talked to MB and they tell me to take it easy the first 180 km, it will get better, hard to belive... If anyone know more about this I am very happy for suggestions, really ”need” those pops and cracks :)
Mmmh weird, I'm not the owner of the car, so I can't tell you if the mileage as an impact or not. I'm sure you tried, but did you switch to the sportier mode on the car, and opened the exhaust valve (the button near the right armset)? That's all I can think about now!
Unfortunately after 2020 European spec'd Mercedes/BMW and other cars are fitted with OPF filters. The goal is to reduce noise and emissions. While it doesn't nueter the AMG sound at all, it definitely reduces it. All that said, there are still videos showing that those cars after 2020 still can sound great! There's just not as many crackles and pops.
@@KC_Smooth The OPF was introduced in 2018, so some 18's and all 19's have it. We have a 2019 C43 with an OPF, and it's really loud with pops and bangs. They get louder with some miles on them. Compare videos of the C43 filmed in mid-2018 when the 2019 facelift came out to more recent videos of those same cars and you will hear more pops and bangs.

I'm happy that you enjoyed as much as we did while filming the car!
Perfect suv comfort and performance with trilling ride and lovely sounds
Sounds incredibly good for an OPF-fitted car, definitely gonna look into one of these!
Yup pretty incredible
Not gonna lie but a better and cheaper and faster and better sounding car is a x3 M40i
@@shayan2_794 Yeah, but then you need to get an early 2018 pre-OPF model.

Yes, exactly! Stock from factory with the performance exhaust! Absolutely no mods on it! I can say you will definitely enjoy yours!!
@@raphaelbeda Yep can't wait. In Australia we also don't get the particulate filter so here's hoping it sounds even better!
@@raphaelbeda just ordered mine in Canada with amg package. Really looking forward to it

Très beau son moteur et belle performance pour un 4x4 ..👍
Mercedes AMG.....The best or nothing!
The exhaust sound is very similar to it's direct BMW competition M40i
Sounds great! I like the coupe version
Sound stock ?????
Yes!
Hi where you from? Asking because i wanna know if this has a EU filter ?
Switzerland so yeah I would assume it's the same EU norm

As you say. I belive I was to trigger happy, after 2000 km it sounds a lot better :)
Hi is that without performance exhaust
No with performance exhaust
is this in US or EU as US 43s sound better
EU thanks to their regulations... 🙄
remember, you can get one for under 47k.
Here in The Netherlands it starts at 120K euros (150K dollars). If I lived in the states I would buy one today :)
@@berendstolk8897 I was talking about pre-mopf used ones
2020 redesign so much better tho, far superior cabin with the ambient lighting.
please a sound check in the tunnel
I live this car
The car is not mine, but next time I'll shoot it, I'll try!

Yes completely stock
What is serie?
John Paul the sound
Leopoint 11 ah okay thanks
@@topo520 Serie means standard.
385 hp, 390 ps

Presque....
this is glc63 not 43
It might be confusing but no, it's really a GLC 43!
It sounds like the exhaust is broken.
Better in the Werkstadt.
Not my opinion but okay
