Every new guitar needs a setup . I usually setup the guitar myself. I always adjust the truss rod, then I check the frets with a fret rocker, then I check the intonation. Usually the guitars need intonation to be setup. This can be done at home. The guitar shops always do a bad job most of the time with setup. I even help some beginners with free setup. I teach them so that they can do it themselves next time. Also I usually suggest them to watch your channel if anyone wants to buy a new guitar. Because you always give honest review.

Better to invest in a Squire and a budget amp separately! Have been using that setup for quite a while now, and am in love with it! The RockJam amp is outright useless, even for a 10W amp. There is no depth in tone or clarity of any sort... Beginners will not enjoy the instrument if the sound quality is this bad...
a way that i add distortion with my rockjam amp is by turning the volume on the amp as low as possible (keep the volume up by using the knob on the guitar) and turn the gain up on the amp :)

If a guitar(no matter if a cheap guitar) has a straight neck and adjustable Trussrod. It's okay. The weak point of cheap guitar is low quality hardware and no proper setup. Change the tuner, the pickups and electronics. I heard who is a good Luthier said if a guitar has good straight neck, I can make it to a good guitar. The different between low end and high end guitar is the detailed attentions given to the finishing. If you can do all the above things, Rockjam guitar is also a good guitar.

yes bro you can play the same chords on the electric, it will be the same and eventually you'll learn barchords etc., but ofcourse different tones and sound (since it's an electric..lol)

That’s not an easy job you have to cut the wood precisely and that’s a job for luthier..plus it will cost a lot..it’s better to buy the hss configuration in beginning only 😀

Go for yamaha Pacifica series u will get the guitar in 13 to 15k & u will get a good amplifier in 10k whether it's a Marshall or Black Star amplifier
