Watch this to see the Galaxy S24 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro Max in Genshin Impact and the Fontaine Region! ruclips.net/video/C6It50rqPhU/видео.htmlsi=XPVhyxc2vNLZp7YZ
Wait sir , is the game running at 1290p resolution on 15 plus??
Higher resolution and higher quality effects are kind of the reverse of what people normally mean by "optimization"...
@@NarutoUzumaki-mo4ulNope.
Play in Fontaine and sumeru region and see the results are same or not
Hello Dame .. Nice video as always! Please tell which software you're using to calculate FPS on iOS and iPadOS devices?!? Thanks ..
For sure my next device! Such a nice looking design, nice colors, and battery life is insane! Awesome video bro 😁
Yeah, the battery life is impressive. This is the first phone that I feel like I don't have to constantly check battery percentage when gaming. I wonder if this is due to the 60hz display panel.
Awesome Video. Can I Ask What Application You were using to get the fps graph?
Looks very good indeed! But I still wonder....how the hell other channels measure VERY different temperatures at the same 25-26 ambient? It's like every session is different or what? Iphone's reach higher temps pretty easily, on par with S23U actually.
hello, nice video, but the test on the iphone 15 pro max is a month old, you should do it again after the updates ios, what is the result
Does it have any differences between the pro max and the plus?
That was shocking. Didnt expect 15 plus to match 15 pro max! 😮
It’s the same processor A17 but different ram sizes 😂
@keon1776 no it's not, 15 plus has a16 bionic
The Pro Max has the A17, which starts at a higher Watt rate, and uses more power, but the phone uses titanium, which as problems with cooling
@FatMonkeyApes in his test it seems the Pro still beat the Plus in temps, so definitely not due to titanium. Also Pro model uses less gpu as well.
Looking forward for ur fps meter video
Higher resolution and higher quality effects are kind of the reverse of what people normally mean by "optimization".
optimization = "i want this state of the art game to run perfectly at 120 fps, in my 32 bit potato device"
Nice, as always. Bro, can you test both of these beasts with Low Power Mode? What's the differences? Very interesting
Great idea 💡👍🏿
Hi Dame, sorry since this is an old topic/video from your Ipad Air’s M1 being slower than the Ipad Pro’s M1 video but i just wanted to ask you something. In Antutu V10 i have the Ipad Air 5 and i got around the same scores as the M1 Ipad Pro. I got 780k for the gpu score while the Ipad Pro’s M1 was 720k-760k so its around the same.
Is it possible that its just because my device is newer so it hasnt degraded yet or is it just because of the room temperature maybe?
Because from what i know, benchmarks arent 100% accurate anyway because i also got 640k score for the gpu which would mean its slower than the Pro’s M1 once but afterwards i got around the 700k mark like the Ipad Pro. Or is it just because of the new version of Antutu?
PS: I commented this on that original video of the M1 Ipad Air but i decided to also comment on your latest that way you it will be easier for you to see it :p. Sorry if this comment bothers you in anyway
please do iphone 15 pro genshin test, coz a lot of other youtubers did bias review, not like you
Have you tested tower of fantasy on the redmagic? Wondering if brute force can overcome lack of optimization
ToF performs much better than the S23U, but sadly still performung less than the 14 Pro Max or 15 Plus. TOF is much more CPU heavy than genshin. Hence, iPhones will probably score much higher than Android devices with this particular game. I'll be doing future TOF fps tests soon.
@@DameTechhello there, are you planning testing TOF on iP15 plus and how it performs? I'm planning on getting this phone and I was wondering how TOF will perform, since I already know how genshin performs. If it can run TOF decently then iP15 plus would be a done deal for me.
The 15 Plus runs TOF nicely, definitely not as good as the 15 Pro Max, but slightly better than the 14 Pro Max. After my Resident Evil FPS tests with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro M2, my next test will be TOF (so early November I will have these videos). Plus this gives me time to aquire Lin Hang and A6 her haha
@@DameTech will surely wait for that vid to drop. Thank you in advance then.
Hi dame could you compare the nubia red magic 8s pro vs 15 pro max and s23 ultra. And in terms of raw power and gaming experience whats the best gaming phone right now for 2023? Thanks
In terms of raw power, I still think redmagic 8s pro is king. However, I do also think 15 Plus/15 Pro Max is a great competitor if you want to solely game with app store games and no emulation. The benefit of iPhone is metalfx and AAA titles coming exclusively to iOS. Now for RedMagic you get a built in fan, triggers, emulation, and great raw performance. It's really hard to pick imo.
@@DameTech His CPU bottleneck said otherwise.
What is the size of the full Genshin Impact?
Can you pls tell us how you on performance hud?
Hi
How did you get that fps meter?
The default fps meter in iPhone developer mode is called Enable Metal Performance
Hi dame, may i know the 1290p resolution on genshin is native ? I saw some where mention ip native is 740p
Its 740p. The HUD is inaccurate for genshin and hoyoverse games.
@@DameTech thank for your reply, hoơ about metal fx, does it upscale to higher resolution ?
Not exactly resolution but drastically improved graphic textures, which gives the illusion of increased res.
@dametech How is the graphics compared to an android like a red magic 8 pro? in genshin?
would appreciate an answer A LOT
I know it's late response, but genshin has better graphics and resolution on iOS devices Xiaomi would be the only exception as they have a deal with Hoyoverse.
@@DameTech I still really appreciate it, im really surprised hearing about Xiaomi having a deal with Hyv do you know What the resolution is on the xiaomi? And if its just the res?
Thank you
where is your promised video tutorial for fps meter?
Waiting. I am waiting for this.
The 15 plus is a complete battery monster
Do you have one? How long does it last for you? I need it to last 8 hours especially in uni.
@@Gunner_2104I think a phone like this can withstand more
Interesting, why do you think that is? Despite having an inferior chip to the 15PM, it performs the same.
Basically, both topped out at circa 60FPS which is the current max. But the ProMax used 20% less GPU, so in theory could get 33% greater FPS using the 80% GPU that the 15 Plus used. That translates to 80FPS. So A17Pro is a very good upgrade over the A16 chip.
@@andyH_England Intetesting, could there be cooling differences too?

Samsung needs to learn from Apple. Apple and Redmagic make the best gaming phones
Samsung has been throttling their devices since the s8 which is stupid.
Id like to see longer gaming tests because i think its more realistic then just playing for 10 minutes. Most mobile gamers play for hours at time and a large majority of mobile devices dont throttle within 10 minutes of playing.
Hours straight?, bruh noone should even do that, you have a problem at that point, most mobile gamers I know play around 15-40 minutes per gaming session

can you tell me how we can get this app please @@DameTech
@@user-pr5lm2tj2v he will never tell, waste of time.
How much space it takes ???
Can you test genshin for about 30 min in iphones because it drops performance by 30% with throtling because of lack of thermals. Iphones are beast at the start but after 15min. It drops. We tend to play game more than 30min.normally.
Check out geekerwan, he tested for 30 mins in Sumeru and averaged 59.1 fps and 45c peak temps in 25c ambient temps.
Bro can you test pubg mobile in 90 fps with that HUD on? Been trying to get that HUD working, not able to.
If u sideload pubg from sideloadly using decrypted ipa it will work but make sure u use new pubg account or it will get ban
@@epicfacts1529 thanks, that worked. posted a video of the 90 fps on my channel.
Please make the following video with Xiaomi 13t pro
Please test again 14 pro for look performance iOS 17 thanks ❤😊
I have Graphics HUD on, but it only shows on testflight apps, Can you explain why?
Yes because that’s there only for testing purposes suppose ur app developer and u wish to simulate ur app on device and want to know the statistics and overall performance then that’s there for u in developer mode … u can activate that for non TestFlight version too but for that u need to sideload the apps using sideloadly or altstore but prefer sideloadly
@epicfacts1529 so I tried to sideload genshin on my iPhone 13 and it still didn't work. I messed around with it and actually got banned. Luckily it was my alt account. How do you think Dame is doing it? If he is using sideloadly than he would get banned like me

WHY DON'T YOU TEST ON THE NEW MAP BECAUSE IT IS SAID THE NEW MAP IS THE HARDEST PLACE
They're talking about performance on the phone not playing the game for fun
@@-KaiShii😂
@@-KaiShiiI think he meant 'The most difficult place for the phone to run the game' by that.
@@parthdeshpande-ut1eb He said its the hardest place?? And why would a different area cause a phone to lag more than usual
@@parthdeshpande-ut1eb Plus I play this game so I have personal proof
Plz try 120fps
I think that is subjective, on android you have a whole library of emulation, battery life with the 8 gen 2 is on par with the A16 and A17, it is not budget at, all it cost more than $900 with 60 hz. Genshin impact might have higher graphics in ios but most people play battle royal and i haven't seen better, higher graphics on games like COD and PUBG, their is no Fortnite on iphones. Ios devices suffer screen dims my 14 pro max dims a lot and drops frames in pubg mobile when i am gaming for long sessions, so the 15 plus will suffer the same fate, these devices cannot sustain long gaming sessions. I play switch on my android tablet. And i dont see pubg, COD or any other games i play on ios or amdroid being better optimized on ios.
Android stopped using emulation about ten years ago.
Ios的更新,會讓遊戲表現更差。丟效能給你,撞溫度牆時,就開始大卡頓,鎖幀數到40fps以下。。
where is 120 FPS Test on 15 pro max?
Im personally not basing my opinion just by an only optimized for iphone game. I would say any android with a snapdragon gen 2 or 1 would be the best. Even foldables.
Any phone can be cooled as well with a phone cooler or by a controller like the gamesirx3 (only for android)
Sounds like your trying to convince yourself lol. At the end of the day, the hard truth is most games are optimized and runs better on iphones vs android. It's more about devs than phone. Genshin isn't the only game. There are countless games where it runs better on ios. Stop being a fanboy lol
@@appleandsamsunglover4896Maybe is the hardware the answer, because Apple software in the last few years hasn't been great in terms of optimization.
就我三星和果機測試原神。三星的表現最均衡。你要考慮到高溫環境,溫控,散熱等。

iqoo 12..genshin like a rog phone
To be honest, due for issues on IOS, PC is still better. Good video tho

I'm not sure that I agree with your statement that the iPhone 15 Plus is the best gaming phone. iPhones are certainly the best at a certain style of gaming. I'm not going to deny the facts in front of my face that they're better at Genshin and that other game you've used recently as a benchmark. And the Plus certainly costs less than the Pros. If that's what one wants to play then iPhone is your best bet and the Plus the best value of the lot. But; I haven't noticed much of a difference between the newest iPhones and the newest Androids on things like "CoD: Mobile" or "PUBG" when watching reviewers play it. "Fortnight" (spelling? I don't play it) doesn't even exist on iOS anymore because of their disagreements with Apple over the App Store. They had similar disagreements with Google too; but, because Android is relatively free still people can sideload it and move on. And that leads into my biggest objection that an Apple anything can be the best gaming phone. They've locked down iOS too much. It makes it hard to side load things like "Fortnight" and it makes it incredibly difficult to run, you've read this before from me, emulators.
It's not impossible to run some emulators on iOS; if you have a computer you can set up an Apple developer account, and then sideload Alt Store, and then use it to sideload Dolphin for GameCube and PPSSPP for PSP. Then each week you have to go in and manually refresh their certificates to keep them working. It's a huge pain in the rear; but, you can run some emulators on iOS. Just not PS2, Vita, 3DS, Switch, or Windows. You can run them all on Android and it couldn't be easier to set up and keep set-up.
Why do I care? With some exceptions, mobile gaming is a vast wasteland. Look at NFL football. Why would I want to play "Madden Mobile" when I could play real "Madden" or "NFL 2K" without all the ads and micro transactions? With "NFL 2K5" especially; it was such a great game Operation Sports is still putting out updated rosters. My ancient LG V35 can run it almost perfectly. No iPhone can because it was only available on PS2 and Xbox. Let's look at racing games. I'm playing through the PS2 version of "NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona" at the moment. It has multiple racing disciplines, a career mode, great physics, no ads or IAPs, and at 2X upscale looks as good as the microtransaction fueled NASCAR game they want you to play. "But it doesn't have the newest cars and drivers!" Who cares? Cars go in a circle and I'm happy. The less said about the disaster that is mobile MLB games the better. Finally; FPS games exist and they're awesome. I like a good multiplayer romp as much as the next person; but, sometimes I just want a story and character development over chicken dinners. Emulation on Android gives me that, easily.
My best phone, the aforementioned V35, isn't strong enough to run every PS2 or GameCube game. Sadly. But it's strong enough to run decent chunks of their respective libraries quite well , including a lot of the stuff I actually want to play. Until Apple relaxes their restrictions on emulators and allows them to be freely installed from the App Store then I can't say that iPhones are the best gaming phone without a ton of caveats. What is the best gaming phone then? Whatever the best Android you can afford... Unless you're exclusively playing "Genshin Impact".
Did AYN ever reply to your email about sending you a review copy of the Odin 2? It's technically not a phone; but, on paper it's the ultimate mobile gaming device. Imagine your S23U; but fan cooled so no thermal throttling, plus integral controls, and it's only $300. For an 8G2, that's insane pricing. It runs Android so "Genshin" will be fine as well as all the emulators I care about.
On the other end of the spectrum, Apple locking down the OS and making it harder to perform emulation and sideloading means that iOS game developers aren’t as prone to software piracy as compared to Android game devs. This paired with the relatively small amount of iOS devices released per year means it’s alot easier to optimize on the platform. I believe that data also shows that iOS users are more likely to spend money on their app store than Android users hence they have a good financial reason to optimize on iOS while leaving just a decent “serviceable” version on Android.
I love emulation and the possibilities it provides but there is a clear financial reason why game companies like Nintendo love cracking down on it.
Why does this Apple Fanboy pop up in my recommended list? Stupid RUclips algorithm.
Lol so truth and facts = fanboy 😆
