I can't believe I came across this over 50 years after it aired. Halla, David and Hal are my cousins. Hal Linker was my grandfather's nephew and I first met Halla in the early 1950s. I spent Thanksgiving 1967 with the family in their home in Encino and their mountain home in Lake Arrowhead. David and I spent a day in Disneyland. I haven't seen or spoken to them in over 50 years, but I remember them to be wonderful, gracious and probably the most interesting people I have ever known.

I remember watching the travel show that Halla Linker did with her husband, Hal, and their son. It was being shown on one of the local stations in the Los Angeles area when I was a kid. And, although I was too young at the time to be thinking of such things, I thought she was extremely beautiful! One of their shows was about a volcano in Mrs. Linker's home country that covered a large area of it in ash. There are several sites on the Internet that mention this program--including one that has a video showing a lava flow in Iceland from 1970. Does anyone else recall this show?

Game 1, contestant 1 was clearly not comfortable in his snug pants. At all.... The real John was handsome and what a head of hair!

Sterns Dept. store did have a men's mod shop with vinyl vests....June 6th '66 I remember well and it's a completely benign date. I didn't watch TTTT.

4:25 "Herman of Herman's Hermits got an award for being well dressed." This should have been a gotcha question as there is no Herman in the band, and the lead singer is Peter Noone. But neither Orson nor #1 knew that. The real one reminds me of Roger Daltrey singing My-My-My Generation.

In that first round the guy John Stevens flipped the middle finger to the panel as he stood up 😮, check it out around the 7:40 mark! And he had a pissed off look on his face. I can’t figure out what upset him
I JUST REWATCHED IT…(I THINK ), it had to do with Tom Posten disqualifying himself saying “I know this guy well enough to know he’s NOT the King Of Carnavee Street …”
