Asking if her son has friends is a good question. If her son has friends that come over to his house then he can suggest the GameCube, since that has 4 controller ports, if he has friends that doesn't come over, he can suggest the Xbox which has online, and if he doesn't have friends, he can suggest the PS2.

When I was about ten or eleven, I was at Best Buy looking at some games, including the new Killer Instinct. They had a machine set up to try it and one of the employees came up and we played together. I beat the crap out of him though I'm sure he let me, and when I got ready to go, behind us was a GROUP of kids waiting to play. It was so surreal. So yeah, back in the day (in the 90s) it was completely possible for an employee to play a game with someone to make everyone else interested in it. I know it was one of the coolest experiences I had. XD
That's best buy though, not Game Stop or another pure game selling store

Kerri Blais because game shops like them actually make a huge profit margin off of used sales. they just don't say it outright to the employees in the video, which is odd, as a training video is supposed to cover that.

Also, on top of paying for something that isn't even available yet now we have games that come released that aren't finished and they sell the remaining game as DLC!! God damn, I'm angry lol. Pre order today to receive you're glitchy mess of a half assed game with not even 20% of the promised content unveiled a year before but don't worry about that because we've been working night and day for the last 2 years to make this game the best it can be unfortunately we have had to cut it back a tad.
But a week later all this supposed content that wasn't anywhere near completion is available as DLC that not only they ripped us off over but the content was on the disc to begin with. #ROBBINGBASTARDS

Actually Chad, I live in a tiny city, it's basically just a small town, and we have not one, not two, but three GameStops in town, so if it weren't against policy they would have no objections to allowing someone behind the counter, as there are normally like 4-5 people working the counter when no one's there. Due to this fact a GS employee actually let me use the bathroom, which as it should be obvious is in the back, and under normal circumstances would be off limits to the general populous, but the guy was like, sure, here's the keys to the back area, just lock it back when you're done, and give me back the keys.

Ok so one time I went to gamestop and I wanted to trade in one DS game, right? And it wasn't a very popular game, but they offered me TWO CENTS I KID YOU NOT THEY OFFERED ME TWO CENTS LIKE WHAT NO IM KEEPING THIS IT WAS THIRTY BUCKS BYE, and a long time later, I wanted to trade in Destiny plus a bunch more games ( Destiny was $60 at the time) and they offered me like $17 bucks what EVEN IS GAME STOP??

I tried trading in my n64 and they said that they would give me only 17 dollars for it.
I went to Gamestop with my dad yesterday and we were supposed to get a game free since it was a "buy 2 get one free" deal, but we instead were charged for all 3 games. Today we will exchange the games for the Sonic Mania Collectors Edition.

In the span of around a month, I watched a large majority of your content from the very beginning and am just super impressed by how unique and cool you are compared to other gaming RUclips channels. Only having subscribed 2 days ago, you are pretty legit. Those reactions are super funny and even your older content like the fact videos, mod videos, and Oculus Rift videos were super interesting. This one question can also apply to anyone who backs any game on Kickstarter, including me. Though at least with Kickstarter, you're more likely to be helping someone achieve their dreams.
actually about the employees playing the game with the customers. at my now closed game crazy, their slogan was try it before you buy it, new or old you could play any game you wanted. they had about 8 screens with different consoles set up in the middle of the store. most of the time the store was empty with customers so it was no problem for the employees. I remember I asked a guy that worked there how to set up WiFi for the DS and we actually walked down the street to McDonald's to set up the WiFi on my DS.

There's a retro game store nearby that let's you try the games first as well. It's sweet!
+Car.h I worked at Game Stop and GC. We had the same setup in the middle of the store, but were actually told to only test/try games if the customer specifically asked for it. We were told not to suggest, or do it on our own, as it was a waste of time otherwise...haha

I have never had a problem with used games; they've always run perfectly fine for me, whether they be cartridge or disk. Maybe I've just been lucky over the years, but I see that lady doing that guy a favor by saving him ten bucks for the exact same product.

I remember shopping at Game Crazy a few times and pretty sure I remember demo stations to test used games before buying. Never did it myself, but I would imagine an employee would probably have to be present to prevent the customer from messing anything up.
