Constructive feedback: 1)audio felt a bit, hollow? Didn't really hear/feel the same oomf that I'm used to hearing from you when it's being mixed by LCS. Not sure if it was a mic, mic distance, or mixing thing. Still great quality tho!
2)The video side by side was a little distracting since it had to be compressed so much. Maybe when playing the video transition to a talking head superimposed on the gameplay? I do prefer seeing you vs audio overlay only

Honestly like tiers more than just general placements of teams because its never that simple. Pretty good list with 3-6 being the ones with the most questions great video.
Would love to get an LCK “weekly recap” where you talk through the outcomes of the week and how that progresses the narrative of the LCK season.

Hey Flowers, you were pretty much the only reason I stuck to watching pro league avidly from about 2019 onward. While the play and players have since taken on that responsibility of keeping me here watching pro league, I get far too excited when I catch a Flowers cast week to week. As a long time E-sports Watcher, for my money, nobody pulled me into their game like you did.

Main changes, dig to A tier. NRG to F tier for motivation. SR D tier with immortals. I think it’s pretty hard to argue a meaningful difference between the two.
Flowers good video, I may struggle to watch lcs now a days but I clicked on this video simply because I've always enjoyed your work. I have another video Idea that a person in my position would be interested in though I don't know how far down the iceburg you could go since you work for riot and that is what has caused the downfall of league In North America, and what would it take for a second wind to happen my list would look a little something like this.
The downfall
1) By far for me what really stunted the entire league, the entire pipeline of talent, and basically any players hopes of playing in the league was franchising and the absolute disaster that followed.
2)Team Management at the absolute worst possible scale you could imagine. Players getting into the league both lcs and academy that did not deserve to be there at all and the players with superior skill not even having the opportunity to keep the bottom half of the league in check and trying to win. Also I can not imagine how many hundreds of millions of dollars these teams put in to turn gold into a pile of dirt.
3)The broadcast situation, from a fans perspective the wrong talent for a period of time was being put in situations that did not seem to work, content ideas just did not feel like they were hitting for a period of time, and it just felt like there had to be some horrendous level decision making that we couldn't see since we have nearly always had the overall top casters or at minimum top two and the product that was coming out was just simply not it. I actually noticed a pretty decent improvement in this in recent times which is sad since it feels like when this got fixed other issues were dragging the league down even harder.
4)The players period. Doublelift, bjergson, aphro, sneaky, meteos, imaqtpie, iwd. You get the idea these players are north american league of legends to me. If I had the option to replace 80% of the whole league with one of these players I would do it. Or If they took two team slots and just remade a couple of the old teams I would be overjoyed in fact it may bring me back instantly. But the players now are not interesting at all. They did nothing to build their brand for years not to mention you can just visibly watch their play or dimeanor and just tell that this is a job to them and not a passion. Doublelift may have never won worlds, but at least you always felt like there was the smallest chance a miracle could happen, and that chance was there because he cared. Players now do not and I think fans felt that for a long time so they left because what is interesting about watching a check collector.
5)I was the biggest lcs and league content watcher you could imagine. (summoning insight 1-8 hours long with 400 episodes I listened to every single one of them). But it just doesn't feel like it's for me anymore but in reality I think the league itself is just making it not for everyone at this point, because why would new fans come watch our region where people stopped trying to win or care years ago and have no personality either, I would bet money there isnt a single league players channel that is higher than doublelift. I say that because I've never once cared to go see or look at one.
The way back while I don't think it's impossible I would say it's about as close to impossible as you can get. But here is what I would say is the strengths and ways back to growth
1) Franchising has to be dissolved in its entirety it has not and will not work with the people at the helm, the people they hire, and the people those people hire. I want doublelift, sneaky, and meteos to get board one day and come kick immortals out of the league. Which would be the only thing of interest immortals was apart of since noah winston, and would probably have more viewership then any final.
2) Our caster talent has never once in the history of the entire game not been the best of the best. Korea had Money, Doa, papa smithy as big standouts along with a few other notables but at most a couple decent talent at a time, china has really been meh if not poor for it's entirety which is the main reason I watch it the least, Europe has killed it in this department just to catch up to the caster level we have always had which now its hand in hand. We could easily pull people in this regard.
3)I think the broadcast needs to find something that sticks to create some moments that people can reference outside of just watching it but the issue is they have to find a way to create content around a league zero people are hyped about which is very hard. But if they even just went with the flow of fans and just started putting all of the teams pros and the league on blast I honestly think that would resonate with fans and give them a reason to watch since it would basically be what the fans have felt for years.
4)Every single player that is clearly not putting in effort to win games, doing something interesting, or adding any sort of value to the league needs to be black listed there needs to be a serious purge in this regard. (In fact there might have been part of one a few years back but bring back the people creating intrigue).
5)Someone has to win something period. I remember when fans were upset with a 3-3 performance when a team didn't make it out of groups. Now we have teams not even making it to groups and it's just expected. Without this I don't think the region ever gains notoriety again.
6) Those players I mentioned above that provide intrigue to the league should have a pass to come take any single lcs players spot when they chose to do so. Imaqtpie going 0-20 would do more for this league in terms of entertainment value then all ten players at that roll combined.
7) DId I say ten I meant eight, which needs to not be the case. Bump it to twelve teams and bring people of interest into the league, even if bjerg is washed it would at least add some sort of credibility to these new players names to see them beat him.
Idk if theres a way back for the lcs but the start of that video when you said eight teams made me want to write this tangent for some reason and towards the end I started rambling do to being tired but if you actually read this know I mean well by it and would like to hear some more thoughts on the topic or if my points here were completely incorrect.

I think the thing I disagree with isn't even where you put teams, it's the fact that half the league is B tier but we've seen the LCS have "the soup" so many times I wouldn't be surprised if records ended up looking like this by the end of the season.
However, quibbling about team placements is fun so here we go. Here's my list and thoughts:
S Tier: TL
A Tier: C9
B Tier: NRG, DIG
C Tier: 100, FLY
D Tier: SR, IMT
NRG might be the hardest to predict given how badly they ended the season but I think out of all of the teams in B tier they are the ones with potential to win the split depending on how the offseason went for them. I personally would have put them at the top of B. DIG has more questions to answer for me than NRG does, but if the players play up to the level we know they can reach, this team is a bare minimum 4th. This team is really cool though and I'm excited to watch them play.
I think 100 is a really cool team too but I'm skeptical on how they're going to perform in a Bo3 regular season. Maybe they overperform again but I think they have some major hurdles to clear and I don't see them winning the split without their bot lane in particular leveling up. I also think they need a support who is stronger at leading the team than Eyla. C tier seems like the perfect place for a team like that.
FLY being this low is my spicy pick, but I have an argument to back it up: they dropped the wrong player. I think Jensen's play is more valuable to that team than Inspired, I think replacing him is harder than replacing Inspired would be, and I don't see how you can have a healthy team environment when a player airs the team's dirty laundry out publicly and the org sides with him over the player he was bashing. I would be shocked if they made top 4, let alone Finals again. It would take Quad being the next coming of Bjergsen to make it back imo.
I think SR is slightly stronger than IMT. Unlike IMT they didn't start the season with their whole roster, they still finished higher in spite of that, and they actually tried to upgrade their roster during the offseason to boot. I don't think this ultimately matters though, both still likely miss the playoffs.
Based and correct tier list.
All in all, I just hope MSI was not the peak we see from TL. I would be incredibly happy if they can continue their trajectory into Worlds, plus a resurgence from C9 led by Reapered. Maybe even through DIG or NRG in there, since both teams now sport rosters we *know* are capable.

Honestly, Last 6 years or so, the narrative for C9 has been, "omg look at this super team, best ever in NA" and every year they get whooped. NRG last year and TL this year are so much better stories than, "let's see what C9 money gets us this year"

good takes, its hard to tell how good really any of these teams will be, i think TL will be consistent and c9 should be able to stay high in standings based on player skill alone unless they grief again, all of B tier is a coinflip. i would actually put NRG in C tier. i think that's where they always belonged NA just collapsed in playoffs and G2 collapsed at worlds.

C9 will probably end up at 1 if everything clicks, but I'm leaving them at 2 for now. FLY struggled at MSI, but that is a tournament with world class Asian teams... they are still one of the best LCS teams until proven otherwise. NRG should bounce back a bit, not back to championship levels, but middle of the pack is on the table. IMT finished strong in Spring, so don't write them off. 100T was the worst team in the league by Spring playoffs, not sure what magically changed to put them back in the top 3.
He didn't "magically" rank 100T top 3. 3,4,5, and 6 are all tied in the same position. That's how tier lists work 😆

I think 100t collapse in play offs was due to how young their roster is and not having any experience in bo3 situations less than the fact they are incapable of playing well in them i think they should be moved up because how well they played last split especially being the 4 place team that has good vibes in the org unlike fly quest where they publicly shit on each other i think 100t should be beside c9 in A cuz bot fell short but 1 was an experienced super team thats getting the benefit of the doubt over the young up and coming team that over achieved there gots to be some balance there

IMT over SR on skrim bucks and Inero is crazy but i respect the convistion all the same. Its still IMT, who are basically curse to being the perpetually bottom of the league.
I really really doubt this dignitas roster is gonna work. And I like all the players. I just don’t really think the team has any identity other than “good players that didn’t get signed”. Like yeah, Jensen, Licorice, and Zven have all played together before but those players didn’t really have synergy with each other when they played. And as much as I like spica he just came off of a shit show split where a bunch of veterans couldn’t get on the same page. Maybe Spica and Licorice will run topside by playing carries. But when I look at these players as a team of 5 I think that they’re all very solid players that know the game well, but are most useful when they’re facilitating a big carry player with how consistent their play is. I look at this roster and imagine them all going even in lane but nothing really happening. They don’t have a player who is willing to go in on a crazy play. In all likelihood they’re going to probably play slow and lose.

I don't understand the business of IgNar, he keeps shuffling teams and keeps joining unproven teams, idk if he wants to be the ultimate underdog or just wants the cash. NRG isn't successful anymore cuz IgNar didn't want to further improve the synergy with the team

This tierlist is a joke. C9 is S for sure, followed by FLY and TL in A. Then you have DIG, NRG, and 100 in B. I don't see any reason in ranking IMT and SR. They are just out of playoffs.
