Crazy how much they left in there after Target moved out. Where did Storage of America move after they left to let the building be demolished? I saw they have on in the old Chapel Hill Macy's, is that why they left this location?

I watched, great vid! My Target wasn't abandoned long, when it was tho it was during a different period of time. Your Target might've been Abandoned too long and during present day, vandalism and deterioration has set up. We're in a population decline, worldwide, retail Abandonment is the side effect of this. I've retired from Urbex, at this moment exploring is in decline because buildings get rubbled quickly. Enjoy it while you can, be safe out there 🤘✌

I'm surprised this Target closed down. We have a alot of Targets here in Massachusettes. They are always so busy! Made me sad to see this and the Music was very heartfelt. Thankyou for the great Video.

I found some footage of it somewhere but it's from a camera that's from 2005 which means that the footage is so grainy it's very difficult to make out what anything is but it does exist

The power being shut off in the mall did not affect the separately-owned anchor buildings; in fact, the Sears and JCPenney outlived the mall, closing in 2011 and 2013 respectively. All the anchor buildings were separately owned; after the city of Akron took possession of the mall, JCPenney donated their building to Akron to be demolished with the mall...

Tom, storage of America moved to Chapel hill because they sold the target building to Amazon.

It's so odd how they left up the old neon that surrounded the interior walls of the former Target. I sense a wave of nostalgia just looking at them.
