really didn t like the explication of "if you leap it s because of an error in the code".
In the original it was never fully explained but the idea was that it was sam or a "god" that make him leap never heard of an error in the code.
It feel ridiculous.
And i don t like the fact that you spent half the episode in our time and having a "conspiracy plot".
Remind me a lot of the knight rider sequel and it s not a good thing.

Sam kept leaping and the quantum leap project was abandoned. what happened to the people he was leaping into?
I'm assuming Sam no longer leaps into anyone but does it as himself now. In the final episode there was no one in the waiting room. That is what I'm assuming they are going with.
That's the question that I hope the show will answer.
Sorry it really wasn't good. They didn't have the classic Quantum leap ⚡ while he leaps.
While I would have liked to see the leap effect look more like it originally did, they could have made it look much less like it than they did. It still read to me as leaping. And with the subtle sound effect callbacks, it worked for me.
@@OptimusNiaa Even in the original QL pilot and early episodes Sam leaps aka leap sound effect was much less noisy. In the pilot we never really see him leap it was more like he awoke to find himself in the past as described in the shows saga sell by Deborah Pratt. In the saga sell they show him leaping with the blue light energy as he awakes in his first leap but not in the actual pilot movie. We get this shot of the clouds and sky and then the camera zooms in to a house really fast and a clock as the hands on the clock are moving and then suddently stops. ⏰☁🌤🏠

I hear you man only they have really made it a bad remakes like a continuing theme in Holywierd at the moment with all the franchise getting the diverse and woke treatment

@@mikek6313 That is so true man but they have left him out just because on their casting I do not think they wanted a white male in any thing like a recurring character,and having no Al either and to replace him with an army woman Al was a womanizing Navy Aviator unforgivable lol I hope I am wrong but it does not look that way
Actually, it's not a ripoff as you describe. It's more of a continuation and regarding the character, there was an offer for both to return. Dean Stockwell passed and Scott Bakula turned it down. At least for now.
