I used to design the PCBs of the Euro versions in the UK back in the late 90's early 2000's. The TVs were designed and built really well and we used to subject them to rough treatment, so much so that we actually set the test lab on fire, but not quite in the same way as Rodalco! Panasonic TVs were always streets ahead of Sony etc. but just didn't have the "name".
Excellent TVs those Panasonics, I liked the disruptive, corrupted images that appeared and seemed that the end was near however it repaired itself and kept going! Excellent video, maybe you could do a performance review on all different TV makes?
I had a Panasonic TV in 97 that was killed in a lightning storm. Sucker was heavy, 31" and well over 100lbs. I heard a zap of lightning going into the ground just outside, and then heard a zap from the back of the TV. Fried it.
reason it kept going is because the smoke bombs created a protection layer to prevent shorts from the other items you inserted. smoke bomb smoke is damn near impossible to remove quickly...
Amazing! So robust. My Sony Trinitron gives a better picture with my Sony PlayStation 1 and 2 than a modern LCD screen ever will. The integral speakers were far better on old TVs than on most modern TVs. In many ways technology has gone backwards.
Panasonic has ben known to make bullet proof electronic part's. Doesn't surprise me a tv survived most of that! ;) One tv that doesn't want to die that's for sure.
I love how so many Panasonic cordless phones, use a pair of rechargeable nickle metal hydride AAA batteries to power the handset. It makes battery replacement very easy, and less expensive that the usual cordless phone batteries.
Makes one think twice about keeping one of these old Panasonic CRT's for good measure. Or at least to use it as a backup source of heat or maybe for some novel classic entertainment.
Imagine Panasonic using that as a selling point back then, and they get the guy from the flex seal commercials to sell it. This TV is so strong, you can blow the f-cker up and it will still work.
Viewer # 209. :D YAAAAY, Purple smoker. :D My goodness this one keeps going and going! It does _NOT_ want to give up. :D It's probably enjoying the flaaaaaames like we are. TV with arsonist tendencies. :D Haha, smoke bombs, sparklers and all sorts. What about bottle rockets with the sticks snapped-off of them? They would have screamed-off quite nicely in there while zipping around and breakdancing about inside the casing. :D Now that you have busted it and melted a hole in the back of it, there's one thing left to do: Sledge hammer time! :D Have it back downstairs and thwock-in the screen with the hammer. Club it right in. :D *_IDEA FOR NEXT YEAR'S TV SMOKER / BURNER:_* Make a L-O-N-G video tape of a LOADWHEEL ACTION montage of video clips, as this can be muted anyway, and have the electric meters on the TV screen. We can have electric meters and flaaaaames all at the same time. EPIC WIN. :D Thanxx for showing, -BoomBoxDeluxe. _7th November 2015, 19.05_
These arent fabricated anymore and if they start rebuilding crts, they will never be that quality again. Youve done a big mistake by burning that TV, sorry to say this, thumbs down :(
Burning circuit boards are a pollution....all this for the watching....bahhhh..... That TV is a good one though.... Panasonic built good stuff back then, Now their flatscreen crap deserves burning
True 3D tv set there, the flames and smoke were visible even outside the screen!
hahaha k kkkkk
Are you old enuff to smok
You
Nah it's not a 3D TV its a 4D TV Now
Reality burns TV complete with real burns and lung damage!

Panasonic is the Nokia of TVs
That and zenith
I actually have a Nokia crt monitor
I Have A Nokia 3724VT
I'd like to see that circuit board after that!
I've got the same tv in the kids loungeroom & it's still going well. Has the most fantastic surround sound too.
Corinna T Roberts76 i saw ur comments in shango066's videos, seems you like this kind of stuff like me LOl
Corinna T Roberts76 seems obsessed to antique things qnd i have 2 phonos a 50's tv and 3 very old radios all working fine, do you have old stuff too?
Hi bb
@@eifel716 Hi 😊
@@MsCori76 Hi How You Corinna😎😊😁
I got bored of waiting for the TV to stop working, and I started watching the video on the TV, as it burned. :)
That TV was a legitimate zombie by the end, after having come back to life several times.
"Can we blow it up yet?"
I see the children are taking after you! Hahaha XD
Came for your HV videos, stayed for the amusing destruction of tough electronics! Glad I subscribed! 😊
I *CANNOT BELIEVE* it's surviving this! Modern TV's would've gone out from the first TV killing hazard you put into them
Works when burning!!! Seriously tough TV!
Excellent TVs those Panasonics, I liked the disruptive, corrupted images that appeared and seemed that the end was near however it repaired itself and kept going! Excellent video, maybe you could do a performance review on all different TV makes?
If you had let the fire burn out at 17:30, you could have brought the Panasonic TV inside and used it in your living room for the next 30 years!

It put up such a fight; it was kind of sad to see it go.
Now that is a proper way to cook up a TV dinner 🔥📺
I got the exact same one here. This is really great. That tv is really fucking heavy for its small size
Because it has a flat tube, if it had a curvy tube it would've weighed much less.
@@k.morris231 i hurt my back with that thing
@@1marcelfilms Same, had to carry a 29 inch flat tube Panasonic once. A curved 29 incher would've weighed 20kg less.
At 18:58 its kind of haunting to hear children yelling with the TV on fire. That can't have good implications.
Bros TV is on fire yet still going strong, what a fucking trooper
What you should do next is to turn on a TV for one year without touching it.
reason it kept going is because the smoke bombs created a protection layer to prevent shorts from the other items you inserted. smoke bomb smoke is damn near impossible to remove quickly...

Agreed, the audio quality of flat screen TV's is crap. they need to be connected to an external sound system.
They arn't too bad if you don't go with cheap shitty brands
My name is Bjork and your television is just about to-
I thought "Oh the CRT is blown and I'm seeing the fire through the screen!"
"Wait that's just another one of his videos playing WTF!?"
That TV just doesn’t want to give up

At this point, this Panasonic is now a Pana-zombie.
That purple smoke was cool but i have to ask was it the flare what ever it is or was it a compositor bursting
Purple smoke flare
Another really cool way to watch 3D TV.
Makes one think twice about keeping one of these old Panasonic CRT's for good measure. Or at least to use it as a backup source of heat or maybe for some novel classic entertainment.
If not that water maybe this video would last more than half hour. :) Impresive panasonic and yours show. :)
Good quality there!!!
Imagine Panasonic using that as a selling point back then, and they get the guy from the flex seal commercials to sell it.

you throw electronics into a fire??? is that legal? that's gotta be worse than burning tires FFS.
Here in NZ, I don't really think it matters.
Pretty colors.
That’s so incredible!!
this is ironic tv on fire and fire on tv 😂😂😂
My thoughts, exactly. 😊
Panasonic CRT description: fire bomb
It's unbelievable how this tv goes. But let's do for what i came for: capacitor popcorn hooray!
When you install windows 12 on the family TV:
It kept on going and going. That was a strong TV.
love your garden furniture :-D my garden furniture got stolen and now i cant afford new one :-(
That's a good TV for it to still be playing even though it's on FIRE!!!
Doing that on a wooden deck, with the rear of the set mere inches from a wooden rail?!
I'm glad I don't have balls as big as yours man.
17:20 the brightness restored to how it was originaly
That's why i like panasonic crt
Anything for a new telly,eh mate?

RODALCO2007 that TV would've a whent a lot lot lot lot lot longer if it wasn't being destroyed
purple smoke ?! how is that possible ?
Smoke? Explosion?
Hey Rodalco can I get arrested for dropping mains voltage to something like 80 - 100 V (from 230) ?
Just don't let the cops know.
Insulated Slippers!!!! Technology!!!!
For real? My crt monitor died because of some dust in it.
3:38 oh look its the new philips ambilight tv

Why polute the planet...
Terrible behaviour.
Please don't do this.
Please. Please.
@@jameswright6692 Piss off.
Panasonic, the new tank company.
instead of burning a tube TV you should burn a flat screen TV
19:46 upstairs its even worse....
Why destroy it?
Was it broken beyond repair?
Because almost no one wants the TVs anymore
4:20 is Chumbawumba - Tubthumping
Yes... I picked that up.
WoW, what a tryhard TV! Nice.
What am I watching?
Ben je Belg of Nederlander?
Am I the only one who didn't even notice the smoke cuz watching the tv??
Now that took some popping :)
How to do a gender reveal using your tv
