Just love how quiet it is when you move away from bank 😊 you have my dream boat 😊 price of a small two bedroom house no doubt but worth it I feel. Dexter pottering about more slowly than former years but he looks content and probably happier than if you in a big house and needed to leave him most of day to work full time to pay a mortgage.
That bow thruster is really a good piece of gear. The glass roof, it is so clean and gave an interesting optical illusion as your narrowboat passes under bridges.

Hey Helen. Glad you enjoy. Dexter is such a gentle soul. Tumbled spuds is basically par boiled potatoes and then roughly mash (not to a smooth consistency) with plenty of pepper and a little salt. It sits on top of the mince like a cottage pie. People are so kind. Dexter loved his toy. Have a great weekend ❤️

It is useful to see that canal boat journeys are not all about pleasant cruising through the countryside. That flight of locks is not for the weak or the impatient.

Not a good place to lose concentration - in a lock! Our canopy frame is like yours and sticks out the back when not in use. In a lock we always lift it over our heads and have it facing forwards. Loved the video
Lesson learnt. We started taking it off. Amtrim, who have done our new covers, have designed a foot for us so it keep it upright and doesn’t sit proud of the button. Have a lovely week ❤️

After all the work he did, Anthony needs a much-needed vacation as we call it here in the States. Those locks are massive! Both of you get better from the surgery and respiratory problems. I live in Washington State on the eastern side and we've had a lot of wind and having asthma and allergies make it worse. Today, I feel like I have a head cold!

Dexter is adorable and what an amazing age, we have a Springer Spaniel who is 14 years and 4 months. We have recently bought an Innopet Mamute dog stroller which folds down and is invaluable for when our George gets too tired. Maybe good for Dexter?

Wow the lights, amazing. It’s 1 degree here in Dartmoor, Victoria as I write, just went and “put another log on the fire” and here you guys are in T-shirts, but I love the cold. I couldn’t walk across the lock gates like that, it’s way to high for me, I don’t do heights, I’m grateful I’m only 5’ 2” if I was any taller I’d have to crawl as it would be to high for me. LOL. This is a very pretty trip, I’m loving what you’re doing. I reckon Heidi would be a fun person to travel with. Oh hell no the frame. Welcome home. We got back yesterday from our delayed Paris trip. Boating definitely is a great community. We love it. Paul now has a cough. I am great though. Off for a run later. I have really been trying to lose weight. Hard for me to tell if it is working. Paul has a checkup on his eye at the end of this month, so fingers crossed. We never did do a comparison, this may be something we should consider for a future vlog. Hope you had a good time away. Have a good week ❤️

I'm like you Anthony, I love doing the locks and walking between them, it good exercise. Noticed some paddle mechanisms were horizontal, not seen those before, are the unusual to the L&L canal ? Great to see that your eye seems to be much better, Paul. BTW, those lovely bluebells are much rarer here in Germany, but we happen to live close to one of the few places where they blossom in the wild in a small wood. Always a great destination for a photo trip during the season.

Ouch, your poor frame. Hope you could get it fixed ok. Just lost my favourite windlass to the canal sprites today and that was bad enough. Those locks are hard work though we found many of the L and L locks were. Love the lady photobomber at the last lock lol.

Hey Helen. Glad you enjoy. Dexter is such a gentle soul. Tumbled spuds is basically par boiled potatoes and then roughly mash (not to a smooth consistency) with plenty of pepper and a little salt. It sits on top of the mince like a cottage pie. People are so kind. Dexter loved his toy. Have a great weekend ❤️

Not a good place to lose concentration - in a lock! Our canopy frame is like yours and sticks out the back when not in use. In a lock we always lift it over our heads and have it facing forwards. Loved the video
Lesson learnt. We started taking it off. Amtrim, who have done our new covers, have designed a foot for us so it keep it upright and doesn’t sit proud of the button. Have a lovely week ❤️

After all the work he did, Anthony needs a much-needed vacation as we call it here in the States. Those locks are massive! Both of you get better from the surgery and respiratory problems. I live in Washington State on the eastern side and we've had a lot of wind and having asthma and allergies make it worse. Today, I feel like I have a head cold!

Dexter is adorable and what an amazing age, we have a Springer Spaniel who is 14 years and 4 months. We have recently bought an Innopet Mamute dog stroller which folds down and is invaluable for when our George gets too tired. Maybe good for Dexter?

Thanks for a lovely vlog, the places you get to moor up are astounding, you really can pick them. Shame about the pram frame but I am sure it would straighten out with the correct percussive maintenance tool ( hammer) after all, it was once a straight piece of bar. 🤗☮️
Hey Crichie. We really have been blessed with some beautiful moorings. Unfortunately, the bar had to be repurchased 😬. We attempted a rubber mallet and got it sort of straight but it needed to be precise for our new covers. All good now though.

Wow the lights, amazing. It’s 1 degree here in Dartmoor, Victoria as I write, just went and “put another log on the fire” and here you guys are in T-shirts, but I love the cold. I couldn’t walk across the lock gates like that, it’s way to high for me, I don’t do heights, I’m grateful I’m only 5’ 2” if I was any taller I’d have to crawl as it would be to high for me. LOL. This is a very pretty trip, I’m loving what you’re doing. I reckon Heidi would be a fun person to travel with. Oh hell no the frame. I think I told you, but hell I’d not expect you to remember with all the posts you get, we ran out of water in our tank a few weeks ago, just so little rain; all the farmers (cattle) are saying they have never seen it so dry, it’s costing them a fortune getting hay brought in so we’d be grateful for some of your rain. Welcome home. We got back yesterday from our delayed Paris trip. Boating definitely is a great community. We love it. Paul now has a cough. I am great though. Off for a run later. I have really been trying to lose weight. Hard for me to tell if it is working. Paul has a checkup on his eye at the end of this month, so fingers crossed. We never did do a comparison, this may be something we should consider for a future vlog. Hope you had a good time away. Have a good week ❤️

Hey Morten. It was back breaking. Was so glad when we got to the top. Consumption is loads better. I reckon we are probably on par to the last boat given we don’t cook with gas.

I have lost 1 1/2 stone since last year and feel loads better for it. The locks and cycling definitely help compliment the gym too.

What a lovely day and canal,I love the different shades of greens. So nice to see quite a bit of Dexter, bless him. I'm like you Anthony, I love doing the locks and walking between them, it good exercise. Noticed some paddle mechanisms were horizontal, not seen those before, are the unusual to the L&L canal ? I love the banter between you both, and knowing you, know its doent mean anything, its just the way you both are = lovely lol. Hope the days again get as nice as that day was with the sun and warmth. Hey Susan. It was a stunning location. Dexter is doing ok bless him. It really is good exercise. The horizontal ones are fairly unusual. They have them on the Rufford branch too. Absolutely that Susan. We have always had banter like this and there is no malice in it.

Great to see that your eye seems to be much better, Paul. BTW, those lovely bluebells are much rarer here in Germany, but we happen to live close to one of the few places where they blossom in the wild in a small wood. Always a great destination for a photo trip during the season.
He is definitely getting their Klaus. I love bluebells. The smell of them at their peak is incredible. I bet you get some great pictures of them. Didn’t realise they were fairly rare in Germany. Have a great week ❤️

Ouch, your poor frame. Hope you could get it fixed ok. Just lost my favourite windlass to the canal sprites today and that was bad enough. Those locks are hard work though we found many of the L and L locks were. Love the lady photobomber at the last lock lol.
I know! It was an expensive fix 🙄. Fingers crossed not lost a windlass yet. It is gutting isn’t it? They really were hard work, we forgot how difficult the L and L can be. 😂, I would have photo bombed too. Have a great week ❤️
Have only been watching your vlogs for 2 1/2 - 3 months. Trying to catch up on some of your older ones, and really enjoying them.Paul always says at the start of the vlog who you are. I know your from Manchester Anthony, but where is Paul from, and how did you meet each other.Plus what a great talent Paul has with his drawing.
