This song takes me back to the 80’s and memories of listening to 106.7 KROQ ( “The ROQ of t80’s’”) in my gurlhood bedroom on my ghetto blaster! 😂 I always felt like I identified with this song & now strangely, at age 50, I still do today! It’s truly an amazing song with a beautiful melancholy melody, haunting and somewhat sad lyrics and an iconic synthesised opening like no other…..❤❤❤
