Plot:- (October 2019)
Survivors identify the EFI research Facility as the force behind the world collapse. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, authorities send in former AMS agent Thomas Rogan. But mere moments into the into the mission, contact with Rogan is lost.
2 Weeks later desperate for answers G and Lisa Rogan arrive at the EFI research facility in an effort to locate Thomas Rogan and his team. Beguiled by the apocalyptic surroundings, one seeks a friend while the other seeks a father. The Xbox port (in particular) was fantastic -- the slowdown witnessed in this uploaded footage is *not* present in the actual game; it must be a byproduct of the video capturing software used.
The House of the Dead III was developed on SEGA's "Chihiro" Arcade board, which was Xbox motherboard based.

I loved the game but didn't like they replaced G with Daniel Curien in the final chapter's Wheel of Fate fight!

Sega really took advantage of the xbox hardware. The "spiritual sucessor" for the Dreamcast. Although, two of the most important dreamcast games were ported for other console: Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 for GameCube, not xbox just like Shenmue 2 for example.

Franchi Spas-12, short barrel with no stock
would be better without the on screen shotguns, like an old school light gun game
That just the high graphics setting it was using like the arcade version.
GsterfunkGLA82 on screen shotguns are only on the Xbox and pc version

Besides reusing the "Strength" boss WAY too much, and some 'meh' level design, I think the Wheel of Fate is my fav final boss in the whole HOTD series. Rather Interestingly, it's composition looks like hybrid technology of the Magician and the Emperor, the final bosses of 1 & 2 respectively.
I presume this was played with controllers instead of light guns? If so, how well do they function?

I thought the game would run and look better on xbox than pc since lots of games back then had bad pc ports.
But it looks same and its slowing down like crazy.
