I just installed one.. No.. It doesn't.. It has.. All these wierd modes.. Like.. Off road.... Economy.. Comfort... And I am getting a heap of faults on my dash.. Incorrect tyre pressure monitoring... ESC error.. Stop start error.. Hill hold error.. And a couple others.. Only put 9n last night.. Possibly it needs coding?

05:41 No don't do that. My GPS nearly didn't work because of that. Mine is now sitting at the top corner in the car or in the glove Box.

The factory settings code for our stereos is 16176699, but this might be different depending on your stereo manufacturer.

its not a cd player mate, its the place to add the cd for the internal GPS module
At 11:04 min you only have connected the rear camera cable. Would I need any adaptors for my mk7?

No recuerdo bien si se podía o no, pero es mucho más cómodo si descuelgan un poco la guantera. Pasan mejor todos los cables y al final no se tarda tanto si sigues los pasos de este video. Es el video más completo que he encontrado

i have mk7 gti dynaudio and the sound not work can you help?
Got to break it to you none of these Chinese aftermarket doesn't work with factory OEM Dynaudio. What I installed to my mk7 was an MMI Box that have carplay and android auto and it's working pretty well.
Please what size is the replacement screen. Can’t find answer anywhere, probably staring me in the face.

I do not understand why you are removing the glovebox, I am seeing others not doing that
The power cables for the stereo of the golf mk7 are in the glovebox, so you need to remove it in order to disconnect the old stereo and install the new one

Hello, you can have it from the factory you bought it for you from the User manual in the package.
I was wondering the same. Planning to install one on my own, but was worries about password.
If it comes inside of user manual there is no worries.
I checked the whole owners manual and I don't see the password for the factory reset, is there another way to find it or can you tell me where to look in the manual
