Hello Jean & John & Baby Boy 🎃 What a great collection of Noise Makers. It's especially interesting to see the ones that are as old as my house and also those from my childhood. I remember trying to hold one along with my candy bag on Halloween. We also had the Clickers and I loved those because years ago we had crickets in the fall up in the Alder trees that sounded just like them (we called them Clicket Crickets) and some of the Clickers even had crickets painted on them. I’m thankful that you and John share all these treasures with us. I love seeing it all even though I try to stick with fall and Thanksgiving only because I can keep those things out longer. I used to do ALOT of scarecrows, black cats and Jack-o-lanterns but when I downsized I only kept just a very few of them but it’s great fun to see all the Halloween. I did watch your thrift haul yesterday and I loved the architectural piece you scored. You do find some really nice pieces in your treasure hunting. Kids nowadays miss out on the excitement of going door to door for treats in their costumes. We haven’t had any trick or treaters in years even though there are lots of kids. Jean, at the annual Golden Glow of Christmas Past convention, there are always collectors selling vintage Halloween. The prices are ridiculous, and so we don't collect vintage stuff. We just did not become aware of it before prices got out of hand. Beautiful collection.

@@mamabrooke Brooke thank you. 😊We store outside decor in the potting shed , another small shed and garage . We have a basement where I have a lot of totes and a cupboard and a workbench. All the vintage Halloween stays out in the family room year round and more in the Halloween bedroom. I use all the cupboards, closets, trunks , crocks and boxes with lids to store in too. Back when John was getting his you could always find a lot of them on eBay. He always tried to get them in really good condition. Now also prices are totally out of sight.
