Another major difference is he uses the "eminem yell" voice for most a good amount of verses in MMLP2, but in MMLP he creates a variety of different voices. Even when he is yelling in "Kim" it sounds different, distressed and crazy. Overall, I think the biggest change is that he doesn't act as if he is rapping as a character or different version of him in his mind anymore.

at around 2:25 you can hear a door open (quietly) and then he starts talking about his opportunity to rap, and his voice gets clearer, which I think symbolizes that people are listening to him more, as in the beginning he was drowned out by the rain and stuff, and at the end it's clear.
