@@Sinisterbvnny the Fishman’s are soapbars, exactly like those🤷🏻♂️they should fit perfectly with no problem. All you’d have to do is make room for the battery in the cavity lol.
My man Harley Benton has 7,8 string guitars priced from 200e upwards which are made for modding, Schecter has Damien 8 ones for around 1000e ( used ones go for 800-900e which are solid although aren't ergo) although i like Legator guitars they are far from cheap compared to newer brands taking in consideration that in many cases pickups need changing, electricity is iffy and many qc issues so it needs to go to the proper luthier for check up/set up regardless, we the poor people do have lots of options beside mentioned ones, NK guitars ,COG and lots of smaller luthier brands do make solid instruments for up to 700-800e for 7,8 string ones, my point being i believe one can have a solid working instrument for gigging and studio for around 1000-1200e which sounds and looks like high end one.
This legator is maybe $900. Harley Benton definitely have cheap guitars, like you said for modding, but their QC issues are rampant from all I've seen of them. All the other brands and models you mentioned fall within similar specs and price to this Legator.
@@Sinisterbvnny I have a cheap Harley Benton multiscale 8 string and mine come with no quality issue. Okay pickups aren`t good. I want to change them. As you on your Legator. And I bought a set of locking tuners. It`s just around 230 usd so far not 900. Neck is good, it stay in tune and gorgeous looking :) I`m pretty happy with that.
Thanks for the review. It honestly doesn't compel me, based on your review. Keep rocking and enjoy your 8-string journey❤
No worries! There are plenty of amazing guitars out there that aren't this one!
If you want to swap out those pickups, I’d honestly just use Fishman Fluence 9 string pickups
The problem is I'd need slanted pickups. Also, my next 8 string is gonna be a strandberg so I won't have these issues 😅

The best 8 string player I've ever heard is Alexandra Zerner.
