@@lennox_house I believe that mode doesn’t do it enough justice though. Personally I believe it could be a respectable competitive mode. I was riding on the edge of my seat when I was watching the high level of play displayed by Jesse and Cosmos.

@@immeyouareu2633 game is geared towards conquest. Duel is unbalanced for the same ways 2v2 is unbalance. Certain gods outshine others to a degree that isn't present in conquest.
Could be cool to see a themed tourney, like lore accurate team comps. So if it's a 2V2 then some pairing examples would be King Arthur/Merlin, Zeus/Athena, Baron/Baron waifu, Yemoja/Olorun, Odin/Freya, etc.
I wish i could've participated this was a cool idea. I think next, a Class VS Class tourney (like Team Warrior VS Team Guardian) or Pantheon Tourney would be gas. You could even do a Pantheon VS Pantheon thing
Played 2 games against cosmos the other day in joust. Won one lost the other. He is scary good. Doesn’t miss anything.
A game mode that my friend had a fun time doing was a 1 vs 1 random god 5k gold start.... some match ups you got screwed with by god selection but the double stack start was a different style of playing, but loads of fun

Hope you do a lot more of these even if there isn’t a reward I just think these are so fun to do plus gives the small fries some practice against the pros/better players!!!

You wanted suggestions for "wacky" tournaments, here they are xD :
1- Only male/female gods
2- Only gods of a certain role or pantheon
3- Healing gods only
4- Only items of a certain type (like stacking items only,defense items only or attackspeed items only)
5- 3vs3 on the conquest map (idk if it works without bots though)
1 one dont make sense unless you mean only the human ones
@@KingChocoo why doesnt it make sense? Even non human gods like martichoras have a clear gender, that can be determined by voice or backstory

Hey question for anybody for who might know , but in these kinds of competitions do they have to use the default skins for their gods of choice? I just notice that everyone involved was using the basic skin, was wondering if this was a rule for some reason????

Auto speed playing a mage and auto red playing an assassin just make me feel like they didn’t play their assigned roles. Good stuff overall.

Sad pro scene is so dead we have sub leagues doing the brunt of the work
I’ll be honest 2v2 ain’t it for tourneys, I was in stream for the whole thing and kept waiting for good games but it was 95% stomps. The only “close” games were because there were no kills for 20 min, and then one team gets wiped and instantly lost. Idk it generally felt pretty underwhelming
All smite is is one sided matches wym zero skill based match making
