I agree but I would add SINCE THEY'RE BOTH WOMEN, they're too similar to be in a romantic relationship IN A MOVIE.
In real life, people who end up together often think similarly and face the same struggles. AND even in movies, when it comes to straight relationship, the romantic think is sometimes that they're similar and therefore are the only ones who can understand eachother, i.e. Captain/Agent Carter and Captain America (not only is it clearly the case for these last two but that's how they promoted their ship in every interview)
