25:15 I'm the same way! Winning using the best decks in the game doesn't appeal to me the same way funny decks do. I just love surprising people with strategies they've never seen before, even if that means sometimes losing to the best decks out there.

Love these vids man! I suck at card games, this is no exception. So I love to see you pummel these noobs haha! Loving the commentary, too, I agree the Bloons Universe is so diverse and came from such humble beginnings which is why I also like to see unique monkeys in card storm
Honestly pretty fair card, I think it has some strong early-mid game applications but the late game interactions, while flashy, are a bit overrated. It is fun to set up an insane spike pult or big one, but also it's really easy for them to get negotiator'd or shrunk away, and in very late games the storm is going to just stun them anyways even if the opponent doesn't have counters. Plus amelia exists lol
Negotiator, shrink, amelia, etc are weaknesses to literally any tower in the late game, its not really saying much. What makes it strong is that its super cheap and effective. For 3 gold you basically double the damage of 1 ammo towers, and over double the damage of spike a pults which are already solid towers.
@@nicjoy4407 well tbf you're usually investing it into a tower with like 4 or more base cost, so the overall cost comes a lot closer to or can exceed the answers for it, but with you spending an additional card.
What if you were to combine "Try this!" and the cripple moab sniper? Throw in a couple quick reloads and youd have an amazing lategame control defence.
Its funny but youre also putting all your eggs in one basket. Not meta but maybe 1 try this is very good, all 3 is overkill especially if youre relying on quick reloads
Powers better than try this: Quick ready, expert negotiator, shrink, back to sender, super monkey storm. I don't have try this in my deck yet and I havne't lost a single time to anyone using it, because just like with sun temple it gets completely hard countered by any kind of removal and sometimes isn't even strong enough to deal with midrange rushes. Another card that will probably see an undeserved nerf, just because of videos like this. Also let me just go through the list why I think the cards above are better: Quick ready literally wins you games, unlike try this, which is more of a "stall" card. Expert negotiator hard counters try this and so many other very strong cards like sun temple, wizard, jungle's bounty. It has much higher card value than try this, because you literally steal some of your opponents best cards and is in my opinion a must have in any control or midrange deck. Shrink does the same as expert negotiator and hard counters try this and many other strong cards. Its lower gold cost offers great utility in aggro decks. Back to sender... same as the one's above, but with added flexibiliy being able to literally remove an entire big bloon from the board in times of need. Super monkey storm is a boardwipe that gives you immediate value, used correctly it can deal upwards of 750 damage in a single turn, how many turns do you think it takes try this to cash that in (if it doesn't get completely countered). Try this is a strong card, but its by no means broken
I was aware of this before I even tried try this, I just run 3 of the try this in my deck for pure fun, but almost always the tower with the extra ammo will be removed by the opponent, because you’re going to want to use the extra ammo on already good towers… the best thing to do is to try and bait your opponents expert negotiators but that’s nowhere near guaranteed and is hard to pull off
@@TheRandomWolf I find that plotting down a jungle's bounty (almost completely dead card in control matchups) seems to bait out opponents 9 / 10 times. Another good way to use try this is also to "split the value" i.e. You have a wizard and burning mortar on board... use it on the burning mortar and you still get insane value + you are playing around removal, now you have 2 great towers instead of 1 "super" great tower
i had a game that went to around round 26 and i had gotten a wizard down as soon as i could, by the end of the game it was doing 100+ damage a shot with 4 ammo, it was hilarious.
Try this! With big one is a combo not enough ppl are talking about. It basically starts at late game wizard power and dominates all mid game until storm stun
I havent tried it yet, but I imagine Try This! goes hard with big one and cripple moab. Theoretically with big one you get like 440 damage per turn which is obscene and with cripple moab you get 4 shots on a 3 turn reload, meaning you can perma stall things
@@aqz7603 what you didn't undestood is that the reload only start when the tower has no ammo. If after 3 turn, the tower has one amo and you use it, you will have to wait 3 turn before the entire reload. Using only one amo doesn't start the reloading
@aqz7603 Yeah any monkey above 30 power is equally vulnerable to removal, but this one you lose more because it costs 2 cards instead of 1, not to mention the interaction with "return to sender" which also is stronger against this card compared to other monkeys

The card is so strong it's literally begging you to try it
Yeah, it should cost 5 tbh
His card synergy is really fun, I got a 325 attack spike o pult with 3 ammo once, that’s almost as good as a temple.
That's better than a temple. 225(max temple) * 3 vs 325 * 3.
Also I forgot to account for reload. Whoops. But yeah in that case the temple is better.

"Try this" pairs really well with Wizard Apprentice as well
hello , I rly loved your last video about adora ( the previous version of the deck ) I was wondering if you could do a sun temple deck ?
