To be fair, Ashley’s vocals were heavily auto tuned and shallow, at least Vanessa had enough technique & soul to star on Broadway as an adult lol

@The emo user no I don’t lol just because Adele uses auto tune doesn’t put her in the same vocal skill level as Ashley Tisdale, you’re laughably confused. You’re disregarding important adverbs/adjectives in my original statement like “heavily” and “shallow.” Ashley relied on auto tune and had it cranked nearly as much as T-Pain does and her range was teeny tiny. She never would’ve been allowed on a Broadway stage as an adult with such bad vocal technique. None of this is “hating” it’s just simple facts. Vanessa had decent vocal technique that didn’t rely on auto tune and a large range, both things Ashley simply did not have.

The Raffish version was released on their debut album in 2005. Vanessa Hudgen's version, which is on her album "V", did not come out until 2006. Labels get their songs from publishers. If you get permission, you can record it. That's how, sometimes, songs can be on multiple albums by various artists. In this case, the Raffish version is the original. It's not a crime to like or dislike both versions though. If you like it you like it, and that should not be based on which came out first.
