    Love your scarf. It’s not too much scarf when it’s freezing outside, it’s toasty warm. Love. It. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇦

    What a thoughtful and informative analysis of your knitwear. I too avoid raglan sweaters ( and thus about 70% of new designs ) for the same reason so I must investigate compound raglans. I’m selfishly hoping you continue to design and release your Meeee pullover. One other trick I’ve tried recently is allocating a few more stitches to the front of a garment and fewer on the back because inevitably if something fits well on the front, the back is baggy. Well done episode and I’ll enjoy catching up with your previous ones.

    I would love to know how you designed the red sweater with the set in sleeves! Where did you research for this design and construction to have such a great fit? I wanted to do some research on this to, because I’m quit busty with wide shoulders (but smaller waist and hips). Drop shoulders sweaters make me look a lot havier then I actually am. I would like to have a change sometimes from the raglan sweater and the occasional round yoke.

    So informative to hear you talk about matching ribbing to be the same width as the body of a sweater. Would you ever release your v-neck tee shirt pattern? I love it!! Actually both sweaters you designed are lovely. I’d love to learn more about your sweater designing and how to do shaping on knitted garments! I really want to make more clothes for my wardrobe with a custom fit. :)

    I wonder if you would like the horizontally striped sweater more if you dyed it? Perhaps if you either got rid of the stripes (black) or just reduced the contrast with a dark plumy brown or charcoal gray, maybe you'd like it would be a bit more to your taste?

    • @whatiknit
      @whatiknit  Год назад +1

      @@whatiknit Thank you, I hope it works! I just know that I dislike horizontal stripes, but I find them less offensive to my sense of style if either they are super Thin, or if they are in less contrasty colors. Good luck, if you decide to try it, show us the results!
