Had to forget Core of the Destroyer.... oh well. If they put all three tracks on iTunes, they better not make the same mistake. I NEED EVERY TRACK! This music is precious.
+borderlander15 I thought Dawn of the Dragon was kind of lame, with a small exception if played on the PS3. Eternal night was probably my favorite of the 3. Elijah Wood has to be the best voice actor for Spyro period
My god, these games had such awesome music. I'm kinda hoping for someone to do a remake of this trilogy. I don't really care what console it's for; I just want a remake. Improved graphics, fixed glitches, stronger controls, perhaps some sidequests or post-game content added for each one? Or, even better, an actual sequel continuing the story. All those in favor of a remake and/or sequel, say "Aye!"
+Sunlight Blaze Yeah rebecca kneubuhl and Gabriel Mann did a fantastic job with theses games soundtracks. They definitely lived up to Stuart Copeland's legend! And a remake would be awesome!
every christmas, there would be a new Legend of Spyro. I miss it so much. Loved the triology every movement, every step! "Well young dragon, where might you be." - Ignitus, at end of the last game. Oh yes...where might you be.
That was my childhood too. My birthday is 3 days after Christmas, and I remember either starting or finishing Dawn of the Dragon on the 8th birthday. Played multi-player with my brother too. Between TLoS and Kingdom Hearts, I had an amazing childhood. Good times. 🧡🥺😌
In my opinion, the greatest soundtrack ever composed, never fails to bring a tear to my eye, ESPECIALLY the first Main theme track, god that is the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard
😭😭😭 Why Skylanders why another Spyro remake of the originals The Legend of Spyro was the one they should've brought back along with the first most beautiful soundtrack I cry for what they've done with the Legend of Spyro, "just leave it let's reignite the old games"... I cry
Nah, the original trilogy is what pioneered Spyro to become a household name. I myself prefer the Legend Trilogy, but people have been waiting 20+ years for a remaster of the originals. Hopefully our wish will be granted eventually.
a lot of people had to cry or almost cry at the first track.. and im so happy so see im not the only one. For me, the reason why i cry at this track is just.. I i really love it to pure my heart at this moment. Spyro, especially this trilgy helped me over a hard time of my childhood. Some would say its childish and some would say its stupid. But Spyro became my very best Friend at this time. His story, the music.. the Friends he made and his personality made me wishin so hard for my life to become as pure and as fullfiled as his... Seeing Spyro raising up from a "dragon-fly" to a real Legend... i always hoped to fullfill my destiny as well. The first track always reminds me at the time, where im sitting in front of my Screen, staring at the Menu and thinking about "i wish i could join your world,to escape my own" It remind me on those times where i played those games, sinking into this world and letting my own life pass away. Today, I' think i stepped into Spyros Pawprints, I think i fullfilled my destiny and became a legend on my very own too and i know its maybe hellish stupid to give a trilogy so much weight, but i dunno if i would be still here if there wasnt those three wonderful games. whew that felt kinda good
It truly is amazing what an impact these wonderful games had on your life. For me it's somewhat similar in that my sense of fulfillment in life is tied to these games to an extent. I don't think that's weird at all tbh.
I'm sure someone else has noticed this by now, but anyone realize the ending theme of A New Beginning seems to be more like Spyro's Theme, while This Broken Soul in The Eternal Night seems to be Cynder's Theme? And then, as we all know, Guide You Home (I Would Die for You) has to do with them both, and their love for each other. So Spyro in A New Beginning, Cynder in The Eternal Night, and then full-circle with both of them in Dawn of the Dragon. It took me a while to think that, and I feel a little stupid for not thinking of that (well, I thought of Guide You Home, but that one's obvious, you know what I mean?).
I love this series so much! I miss it, I miss Spyro, and Cynder, and Ignitus, and ever Malafor. But they were all replaced by that thing we call Skylanders
+Hunter Christopherson Exactly, I wish Activision would release a original/TLoS series reboot... they wouldn't even have to remove him from Skylanders, just make a reboot :(.
+borderlander15 I agree, I hope Activision or someone can see what we are asking for and hopefully they can give us Spyro back, I decided to play "The Eternal Night" again cause I miss playing Spyro :( I just want him back
+Hunter Christopherson There is a fan made 3D Spyro game being made by a one man company called Silver Studios. The game is called Ripto's return and a showcase was released in July and it looks awesome so not all is lost. And who knows maybe if this game is a success Activision might learn something from it.
+Narrow Gauge Just looked into it interesting... Knowing Activision, they'll probably give this guy trouble, since they wouldn't even allow Spyro art at a Sony art contest :(.
Fun fact: 1 or 2 of the members who made the music for this serious was apart of an acapella group named “Spiralmouth”, who also made the music for Crash Twinsanity and Crash Tag Team Racing. How it all connects is kinda brilliant.
But reignited is a remaster of the first games not The one and true Spyro The Legend of Spyro I actually played one of the old ones after I played The Legend and... just why... why would someone prefer those instead of this work of art?
Something the most emotional bits of music in this series (the opening menu theme, the end credits songs for the last two games) make me thing of is that they really do lean into the idea that this is a new journey with the character we love, and that there could be many more to come in different shapes or ways.
Such an underrated trilogy. I loved everything about it! The story, the characters, gameplay, the soundtrack, the atmosphere. It should get a remake sooner or later just like the original PS1 trilogy.
Second Burned Lands theme will always make me cry. It's too beautiful,it brings me so many memories. It also associates with Cynder,my favorite female character. Man, I'm happy being raised with this trilogy!
I'm emulating this masterpiece of a trilogy on PC and have fallen in love with the trilogy all over again. It really is something special to be able to see the characters look even better than I remember. Man, I love everything about Eternal Night! I have so many soundtracks to add to my list of songs now.
I loved this trilogy when it came out. I still love the gameplay, cutscenes and even soundtrack/songs to this very day. The songs that want to make me cry the most is the main theme for a new beginning and this broken soul at the end of Enternal night
Oh, I really love these games. Actually I got Dawn of The Dragon first after just pointing it out randomly in a store (becous dragons always facinated me) at age 8, and got it for my 9th birthday. Im from Sweden, and it was in English so me and my friend who played with me did't get a word that was said. This coused some trouble, we did not know you could upgrade until Ruins of Warfang or what the fury bar did until The Dam. Plus we got stuck all the time due to lack of English word knowledge every time an new technic was added to the gameplay. You know when one of these boxes pop up and tell you what to do, both of us would go "damn"! But at the same time both of us enjoyed ourselfs. We never gave up and just saw this as an extra spicy challenge. In time, it almost became an habit to meet up after school every single day to play. We truly felt with the characters and almost "became" them. We played during breaks in the wooded area next to school that I was Cynder and he was Spyro! After 27 and an half hours of gameplay we finally killed Malefor (without fury breath, we never found out about it). Know I beat it in less than 5, with all the upgrades and items. PS: This is the longest coment I have ever written lol. Just wanted to share my story with you other Spyro fans out there.
That's awesome, for me the first time I played this game was a friend back when it came out. I remember how fun it was to mess around in the game with a friend. This game is so awesome to play with a friend!
Anyone else want these three amazing legendary games remastered? I've been hyped ever since DOTD ended for another spyro game, we never truly got one that was as good as this series, imagine Spyro in 4K, imagine Avlar in 4K! Imagine your childhood in 4k, my love for this game is reborn and grows ever more as we see Crash and Ratchet and clank get remasters, I think it's time Spyro got a remaster, he needs...no he fucking deserves one
Really memorable sound track. I got played these games as a kid and looking back on it fills me with memories I won't forget. There really won't be anything quite like the Legend of Spyro again. That is why I am hoping for a remaster I don't think a prequel or sequel will break the series, but there is a lot they can expand upon.
The soundtrack in the Spyro Legend Trilogy is gloriously unique and mixes beautifully with the game's tone~ Mysterious AND mystical! Its just simply lovely to listen too~ It's really disappointing that this has game (to my knowledge) has not gotten much recognition for the musical score in this trilogy.
Yeah it really is amazing that with the budget and time these games where made in that they had such great OSTs and casts. At least the community of these games appreciates the music.
I might not remember my own memories correctly, and my writing might not be that great, but I'll try. I remember playing the The Legend of Spyro trilogy and they are such beautiful games to remember. Along with Crash of the Titans and Crash: Mind Over Mutant (which I call them the Crash Mutant Duology), these games were my childhood and they hold a huge place in my heart, especially when I grew up with the original Spyro and Crash on the PlayStation. The Legend of Spyro, however, was something that took my breath away and made me want to keep playing. The music, the stories, the characters, the voice acting and the colorful and breathtaking visuals and locations were so gorgeous and amazing that I really wanted to pretend to be there. The gameplay and combat was interesting and still has a lot of potential to be further explored and even expanded upon, and what really made the combat so amazing and fun was the ability to use different elements! I knew Spyro could always breathe fire since he is dragon, but breathing electricity, ice and earth was something new to me at the time and I loved it a lot! A New Beginning, I really had a lot of fun with that game, despite that is was quite difficult, but I still had a blast either way! The Eternal Night was something I deeply remember this game due to not only it's story but also it's ending, which really made me speechless. It really made me want to get the third game and so I did. Now, I will admit that I didn't finish the third game, Dawn of the Dragon, even if I did want to keep on playing it. It was much different and confusing to how I remembered it due to me being a dumb little kid I was back then, but when I am ready, I might plan to play those games again and finish what I started! Despite how confusing and different it was, I still did love Dawn of the Dragon! The game where you could get to play as Cynder, that was already the best part of the game. What really got me interested was such a different take on what I knew from Spyro. The tone of this series was much more serious than what I remember and Spyro was much more kind hearted and helpful and mature than the cocky one I remembered from the main games, but that's fine by me! It's a different take on the character we know and love and does it right! He's a rare purple dragon that's born only once every ten generations and he takes and understands this role he has to save the world because he knows he's meant to fulfill his destiny as the rare purple dragon as the series goes on! Which makes this Spyro, along with the original, my favourite version of him! A hero who's willing to do whatever it takes to save the world and fulfill his destiny! And what I also loved about the series was Cynder. Getting to play as her in Dawn of the Dragon was not only awesome, but also her elemental moves, wind, poison, fear and shadow, were so awesome! Again, they were elemental moves that were new to me at the time! And she's a character we can also relate to. Her past always haunts her but she's always trying to keep the past in the past and start anew with her new life as a better hero. The Legend of Spyro Trilogy and the Crash Mutant Duology will always hold a special place in my heart. The characters we know and love having a different take on them. Spyro feeling much more serious and willing to do what's right as the chosen one and Crash being more comedic as he usually is and full of hilarious references, so much memories. I gave a name for these two series and that era to help me remember what I loved about these two characters with a unique change to them. I called it the Sierra era. I even drawn two pictures of these two amazing series to remember them and what made my childhood so great. The Sierra era of Spyro and Crash were fantastic and memorable and they will forever be remembered in my heart and brain as the greatest childhood heroes ever.
Glad to hear how much you loved this series. I loved it for basically all the reasons you listed as well and feel like this series is over looked more then it should be at times. I never played the Crash games but I imagine it's a similar relationship to the original and Legend of Spyro.
Man, these games accompanied me during one of the strangest, most hurtful and confusing times of my life. Up to this day I have them and revisit them every now and then. The had such a strong impact on me, I owe them a lot since I consider they kept me company and inspired me on many levels. I am so glad I bumped into this ost and it makes me cry remembering all those past days playing the trilogy. Words cannot begin to describe how important they are and the emotions they make me feel. Perhaps the og trilogy fans don't like this take on the character, but personally, as a fan who grew up playing all the trilogies, I am so grateful for these ones. Love you TLoS trilogy, I'm dedicating to you the corniest comment I have ever dared to write and publish lmao
well they are remaster the 1998 spyro and not the 2008 spyro so im happy and sad. the legend series will always have my heart and i hope that it gets remastered (or god forbid another game!)
It's brilliant. When I saw the egg float in the river the first time, and heard this song, and that was just six months ago, I was taken away. It's beautiful and sad.
I was about 8 years old when I played A New Beginning and I cried to this first song, I'm 17 now and I came here for some nostalgia due to the new reignited game and...😭 I can't I still cry
The first time I played A New Beggining I was like 11 years old. I first thought it was a new game from the old spyro. But it wasn't! when I finished it, I felt like wanting more. Then came The Eternal Night, which gave me a lot of fun! and again, I was left wanting more. And when I finally played Dawn of the Dragon... it was amazing. I kinda cried over the end, because I was left wanting more once again! I know it ended well, but that trilogy... I'll always want a new game with these two. They made me start drawing my own spyro OC, because I wanted to make a story where I could tell what would happen next. "Guide you Home" is a beautiful song, and the perfect ending for this video. I poured some tears while listening the first song, and while listening the last. We the fans are sad because the trilogy ended. But will never stop loving these game, their characters. No matter what Thank you for this video :)
I used to play all the Spyro Games with my Mom and Grandma, those were some of the best time's of my existence. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but now I'm left with Nostalgic Melancholy. Have a nice Summer everybody.
I AM crying, I remember playing all the games when I was younger, and I remember crying at the end of Dawn of the Dragon because I seriously thought Spyro and Cynder died and were flying in heaven (turns out it was Avalar). TLoS will always be my favourite game. Seriously though, little me emailed Activision and begged for a new game but obviously they never saw it LOL
Probably the biggest letdown of my childhood was not playing these games. I may not have had the experiences that other people here may have had, but with the amount of _"what could have been"_ feels that this soundtrack is giving me... *MY BODY WAS NOT READY. ;-;*
The First Time playing the first during Christmas at my Counsin's old house will always be the best, this music is just so good, like SO GOOD and wish it was brought up more.
3:36:12 Congratulations, you were the first to remember this song that plays when you're chasing the Destroyer crystals. Most of the playlists forget about it.
Hey I bet lot of you know about this but if you want to see a cool tribute video for Spyro that spans out for all the games, check out Blaze the Fire dragon. For me the video makes me feel so good, and I have cried several times to it, and the people who helped put it together made some amazing art. All hail the purple dragon!
My top 10 Boss battle themes from this trilogy: 10) Ice King boss (31:33) 9) Stone sentinel boss (41:20) 8) Steam boss (49:01) 7) Arborick boss (1:32:45) 6) Black powers (Gaul Phase 2) (2:22:14) 5) Cynder boss (58:10) 4) Malefor boss (Phase 1) (3:56:06) 3) Well of Souls (Gaul Phase 1) (2:18:15) 2) Attack of the Golem (Phase 3) (3:21:17) 1) Cynder boss (Convexity) (1:03:17)
know what id like to see? Malefor's story turned into a game. I mean, what REALLY happened?? why'd he turn evil? there's an idea for ya sierra /hinthint nudgenudge/
same here, and why the hell is his voice so distorted, what was intended to be scary sounding, is funny to me. I barely understand him without subtitles. XD
Sierra's dead unfortunately. But I agree. I wrote a 172 page GDD continuation to DOTD and sent it to Activision and Toys for Bob, spent some 750 hours on it, proofread and fixed 2-8 times (depending on which part), including new gameplay concepts (combining elements in alchemy style is darn cool and gives you a "bit" to play around with, so to say, also regarding puzzles yada yada; in addition to the 8 old elements I came up with 3 new ones (one is a combination itself, though) and 1 other ability that's not an element itself) in addition to plot, new characters, one concept art picture, and key cinematics included for the cutscenes. I can tell you it was 50% bliss, 50% extremely grueling to come up with surprising and _functional_ concepts that actually make sense. But most time really went into writing, reading, rewriting, imagining the dialogue, and planning the plot.. which I'd _so much_ like to spoil you but no can do. In the beginning, imagining everything in your head as _accurately_ as possible, visually and auditively was tough, but that's the way I had to do it to make it feel natural and cohesive. I even had a nightmare about "x" a week ago c: which is kinda cool, to be honest. I feel like I reached a whole new level, seeing nightmares about it, after so many hours of imagining through what I wrote and "saw" happening. I have some very accurate "still images" stuck in my head too, although I never thouught I'd be a "visual" type, more literal and auditive really. So.... wish me luck (if you want to c:). A good guestion is - will they ever even read it, although of course I tried to "sell" them best points about it in the beginning of the GDD. Still, I didn't write a synopsis, because... well, that ruins the reading experience - you can't see it from the player's perspective either if you're spoiled everything in advance. Writing a synopsis for a "movie" (game) is just... well, really stupid. Unless, of course, is has nothing surprising to offer. But oh boy. And yeah... Malefor's backstory also. There's really no non-expositional, natural way of _avoiding_ it since you _have_ to recap some of it in any case, for people who _haven't_ played LOS games before - and it's interesting as all hell. But, fucking hell, do I hope this would actually work. I gave my everything into it and I'll keep fixing it anyways. This series deserves a proper continuation, with a teensy-weensy bit more than _one goddamn million_ per one game (for comparison, FFVII had 200 million budget, these had 1 mil. per game, and just one year per game...). A proper budget would be great this time. That being said, I laughed and cried so much doing this I'd just want to see it work. I had university courses at the same time and I've been neglecting my band and all my friends because of this too. Sometimes 18-hour days doing this.. let's just say, I listened to this a few times through to get into the mood c:
I also am sad that I came in so late to this game series. Didn't start it until the first year of high school when I was looking through the Skylander: Spyro's adventure game guide book and reading the story about Spyro and Cynder (I had loved those characters since I started that game and thought they were in love when I was a kid too. Lol childhood memories there.) and I got curious about there story more so I looked it up and boom instantly wanted the entire series fell in love. Spent a year getting all the games for the Nintendo systems and took a good half a year playing the game and savoring it (out of order because I didn't get the games in order. Lol got a New Beginning last). Then started the fan fictions and trying to be part of this amazing and great community and now with the Reignited Trilogy coming out (sad Cynder wasn't in it but its Spyro so its cool) I am going to get that and play the originals. Lol okay I will stop commenting for a little bit but love talking with you people on here. :D
TYSM for putting this together!! When I started listening, I was hit with a wave of emotion. Just wish I could play these again... And to everyone, don't give up hope!! With Ratchet and Clank's comeback, Spyro might return too!
Lord thank you for blessing us with the legend of spyro series and who else cried when the end of the credits in dawn of the dragon showed the little thank you paragraph for supporting your favorite purple dragon for the last 10 years THAT MADE ME CRY I WAS LIKE ITS REALLY REALLY OVER and when I heard there was a move in the making i got excited then they cancelled it for bullshit skylanders i love theseee sound tracks sooo much
@@borderlander15 i hope they remake this trilogy imagine how it would look today with todays graphics oh mannn some of the levels would be soo beautiful i for one really loved the look of the burned lands everything about it really i just beat this game again for ps2 monday and i still cry 12 years later
why do i feel so sad whenever i hear the first song??? this is especially after dawn off the dragon, when that ended. its a happy and sad game to me. i miss spyro.
@@borderlander15 yes! It's the same with me, because if they were never made, then I wouldn't be close to my siblings when playing this game. Brings back memories.
@@borderlander15 yeah ^_^ They're worth playing together with your family. Thanks anyway. Spyro, ratchet and clank, crash bandicoot, Jake and daxter and more, they have all helped me bond with one of my brothers in particular, now they all left, I feel like I've lost those memories and I miss them. I'm sure you enjoy spyro because your channel has it written all over it. That's cool, I subscribed just in case XD

While Still Creating Mostly Original Art,OC Max & Ruby Characters,FanArt,Etc. & Most Of All,Animated Videos When I Return In The Future!
Yeah, It would've been for the best had the games had a longer development cycles defiantly. Because some of the games especially DoTD felt unfinished.
yes. But DoTD had a complete overhaul in the TloS series which was realy necessary since the first 2 barely contained any important story. For my Part I loved DotD. Elementals had niche strategies which allowed to control the enemies. Especialy Cynder could make this game from Gameplay point of view quite interesting... Sry about my English xD
Yeah I agree with you. I loved the elements in DoTD, Cynder had some pretty interesting elements that were fun to use. I remember how overpowered shadow was xD. When I said unfinished, I just mean nit picky things like buildings floating in cut scenes and stuff like that, but the game play was quite fun especially with two players. Btw it's ok :)

Had to forget Core of the Destroyer.... oh well. If they put all three tracks on iTunes, they better not make the same mistake. I NEED EVERY TRACK! This music is precious.
Who else felt like you were playing a movie while playing these games? especially the third :).
+borderlander15 the first 3 spyro games, it felt real.
THEN they turned the whole spyro saga into clone wars, But at least the soundtrack is decent
+borderlander15 I thought Dawn of the Dragon was kind of lame, with a small exception if played on the PS3. Eternal night was probably my favorite of the 3. Elijah Wood has to be the best voice actor for Spyro period
Yeah Elijah Wood was great as Spyro!
The only bad thing about the 3 together was Sparks. I don't know what they were thinking there. Not even David Spade could save that
+borderlander15 I did, that was the entire point. lol. I love the original LoS Main theme
+Sunlight Blaze Aye!
Aye definitely
+Sunlight Blaze Aye, aye aye sir!
+Sunlight Blaze Infinite Aye!
every christmas, there would be a new Legend of Spyro. I miss it so much. Loved the triology every movement, every step! "Well young dragon, where might you be." - Ignitus, at end of the last game.
Oh yes...where might you be.
Yeah I know what you mean, I remember when the third game came out. Indeed Spyro, where might you be?
SpyxedDemon well, now he’s coming back!
That was my childhood too. My birthday is 3 days after Christmas, and I remember either starting or finishing Dawn of the Dragon on the 8th birthday. Played multi-player with my brother too. Between TLoS and Kingdom Hearts, I had an amazing childhood. Good times. 🧡🥺😌
best story i ever play, i miss this series
+Orchestra-Bit A shame that Skylanders has to be so much worser
+Blauer Blitz Yeah i hope one day spyro will be great agin
And you didn't see the originals apaprently
TriScore I COME FROM THE FUTURE, I BRING THE GIFT OF THE REIGNITED TRILOGY
I wish they’d remastered it.
In my opinion, the greatest soundtrack ever composed, never fails to bring a tear to my eye, ESPECIALLY the first Main theme track, god that is the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard
+Alpha Lupus Agreed! It is truly beautiful music indeed. I love the dragon temple track and hall of trials, so nostalgic...
Beatuiful ok, greatest... meh... have you ever played any Square Enix game?
FFVII is 10/10 epic, granted
Today, I' think i stepped into Spyros Pawprints, I think i fullfilled my destiny and became a legend on my very own too
and i know its maybe hellish stupid to give a trilogy so much weight, but i dunno if i would be still here if there wasnt those three wonderful games.
whew that felt kinda good
It truly is amazing what an impact these wonderful games had on your life. For me it's somewhat similar in that my sense of fulfillment in life is tied to these games to an extent. I don't think that's weird at all tbh.
Im glad im not the only guy to have this game stuck in my head lol. One of the best childhood memories with this. Legendary adventure
Same, I am glad I'm not alone either.
+Sam Cook Never really thought of it, now that you mention it, I see what you mean...
Sam Cook nice catch. I still cry sometimes when I hear cynders song
For all the flaws this series has the soundtracks gives me goosebumps every damn time, and these games will always be apart of my childhood.
+borderlander15 Sorry for the late comment, but really? Is that true they don't allow Spyro fan-art?
Can you just imagine this actually being played by a real orchestra?
+Javier Albadalejo Definitely would be an epic sight to see!
Javier Albadalejo I'd love to see that omg
A dream come true
Valley of Avalar would be beautiful
Javier Albadalejo I’d pay so much money to see that!
spyro will never die he will always live in my heart
Lord Spyro598 and In my heart ♥
Lord Spyro598 same❤❤😭
And... In mine y.y
Fun fact: 1 or 2 of the members who made the music for this serious was apart of an acapella group named “Spiralmouth”, who also made the music for Crash Twinsanity and Crash Tag Team Racing. How it all connects is kinda brilliant.
A Spyro movie was one of my childhood dreams! The games are so darn EPIC!!! 😎🎶
Zylice Liddell IKR? It triggers me the fact that there was planned a 3D CGI TLoS movie but it got cancelled...
I wish we could, maybe the Reignited Trilogy hype, may remind some of the TLoS directors about their forgotten project... maybe :)
But reignited is a remaster of the first games not The one and true Spyro The Legend of Spyro I actually played one of the old ones after I played The Legend and... just why... why would someone prefer those instead of this work of art?
@@nightfall2681 The Show Must Go On For TLOS.
I had never played a videogame (or a trilogy of them) with such some beautiful soundtracks.
Go and play the Legend of Spyro trilogy, it's soundtracks, stories, gameplay and abilities are really fun.
They really are awesome!
Sabrina Brontesi Never have I heard anything else this beautiful.
The first song always makes me cry...
Zethany same 😭
It's so calming
Zethany may not cry, but I always get cold chills when it starts, and feel so good listening to it
Literally my childhood, along with the other Spyro games!
Ignitus was always telling the legend of spyro to us as the new chronicler.
I would like to see a remake of this franchise!!
“This Broken Soul” almost makes me cry every time! Dang it these games are awesome and need to come back!
That's one of my favorite songs from the games. Maybe we could get a port to next gen consoles.
Hopefully!
Definitely agree. Nothing hits quite like this trilogy and I hope it gets a remake as well.
Same.
Please just please make a remaster of these games ! This trilogy is amazing !
I'm pretty sure that Dawn of the Dragon had a multilanguage option in there. Or maybe you bought an english only version of the game.
Sara Björck de va också de första spyro spelet jag köpte som liten! 😍 älskade spyro så mycke och gör fortfarande!
How did you beat Malefor without Fury?
I thought Phase 3 required it?
Sara Björck man I wish I had friends who knew who Spyro was! All I’ve got was “what’s a Spyro?”
A remaster would be awesome!
borderlander15 I know man, in 4K as well...
We can hope.
Tazorification well then, it’s coming in a couple days!!!!!
The two who disliked are Malefor and Gaul.
Sniff, too, with Sparx having punched him.
There are three dislikes now. Must have been that cheetah hermit. I never trusted him.
Selena Burke the 3rd dislike is probably gnasty gnork
Selena Burke XDXDXD
XD
Really memorable sound track. I got played these games as a kid and looking back on it fills me with memories I won't forget. There really won't be anything quite like the Legend of Spyro again. That is why I am hoping for a remaster I don't think a prequel or sequel will break the series, but there is a lot they can expand upon.
The soundtrack in the Spyro Legend Trilogy is gloriously unique and mixes beautifully with the game's tone~ Mysterious AND mystical! Its just simply lovely to listen too~
It's really disappointing that this has game (to my knowledge) has not gotten much recognition for the musical score in this trilogy.
Someone please remake these games for PS4/XboxOne/PC. :'(
Martin S You can use an emulator for the the ps3 version on a pc and adjust the settings and it looks amazing.
I only own the last game on Wii though.
depending on how you feel about it- since you have already paid the developers by buying the game. you could just get the iso from online.
So many years and I still miss this trilogy sO MUCH.
Man these games had amazing soundtrack! Sometimes amazingly dramatic, other times heart wrenching.
And to add on to that, sometimes wonderfully awe-inspiring and peaceful.
I still come back to listen to the sound tracks of theses games. All of the Spyro games had a killer sound track but I think these had the best ones
The final attack of the golem song is the single greatest song I’ve heard in any game.
the eternal night final track.....o my god
I know right. Makes me cry every time.
The music in this game (especially the title music) is so nostalgic to me. This is one of those videos I always come back to.
The nostalgia emanating from the beauty of some of these tracks is ... incredible.
Telling myself I won't cry during "This Broken Soul"...2 minutes later 😭😭😭
spyro games even back to the original trilogy always had great music and breathtaking scenery
I agree, it's one of the things that Spyro games always have.
a timeless series
Dennis Pearson Yeah for sure.
well they are remaster the 1998 spyro and not the 2008 spyro so im happy and sad. the legend series will always have my heart and i hope that it gets remastered (or god forbid another game!)
Sorry if this is late but I can only say for certain a 4 is possible but pushing past that is a tad overkill.
Some of these beautiful pieces almost set me to tears... I will never be grateful enough to the composers of this masterpiece of a soundtrack!
The first song makes me want to cry for some reason XD
Yeah it's such a beautiful song..
Caleb's Animations IKR
It's brilliant.
When I saw the egg float in the river the first time, and heard this song, and that was just six months ago, I was taken away. It's beautiful and sad.
I was about 8 years old when I played A New Beginning and I cried to this first song, I'm 17 now and I came here for some nostalgia due to the new reignited game and...😭 I can't I still cry
Burned Lands is just as good as the main theme. It's utterly sad, it's caving my heart in.
They need to remaster these three games and sell them as a bundle on PS4 and/or Switch.
then sign this chng.it/rCSBhvfLMz.
lithen00 signed and paid 3 bucks
@@lithen00 Signed, had to support my beloved trilogy.
Most definitely they do.
Ancient grove stops just when it starts, shame. Such an atmospheric piece.
Soooo nostalgic
God I remember it all like it was yesterday
No matter what
Thank you for this video :)
Wow you've had quite the history with these games... also thanks btw :)
I used to play all the Spyro Games with my Mom and Grandma, those were some of the best time's of my existence. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but now I'm left with Nostalgic Melancholy. Have a nice Summer everybody.
You're definitely not alone.
I'm almost crying
Pavidus. rex Why?
Diemand The Animatronic Wolf It's part of my childhood
Pavidus. rex It is part of mine to. 😊
Pavidus. rex I'm crying
Probably the biggest letdown of my childhood was not playing these games. I may not have had the experiences that other people here may have had, but with the amount of _"what could have been"_ feels that this soundtrack is giving me...
*MY BODY WAS NOT READY. ;-;*
Im Still play this game today i hope for a remaster version of this game 🥺
Me too.
The first song makes me want to find my bro Gabe n just give him a bro hug n cry on him. This song makes me miss him so bad.
The music is so beautiful for lack of a better word!
this trilogy......it always draws me back.
The music is LEGENDARY in these games! 😎🙌
First flight (21:00) , el resumen de mi infancia. Te echo de menos, joven dragón
My top 10 Boss battle themes from this trilogy:
10) Ice King boss (31:33)
9) Stone sentinel boss (41:20)
8) Steam boss (49:01)
7) Arborick boss (1:32:45)
6) Black powers (Gaul Phase 2) (2:22:14)
5) Cynder boss (58:10)
4) Malefor boss (Phase 1) (3:56:06)
3) Well of Souls (Gaul Phase 1) (2:18:15)
2) Attack of the Golem (Phase 3) (3:21:17)
1) Cynder boss (Convexity) (1:03:17)
For me Malefor Phase 3 is probably my favorite with the final showdown with Cynder a close second.
know what id like to see? Malefor's story turned into a game. I mean, what REALLY happened?? why'd he turn evil? there's an idea for ya sierra /hinthint nudgenudge/
+Abracadabra Dragons I'd actually be a pretty cool idea for a game, it's a shame Activision has to own the rights to Spyro.
well thats dumb. they should buy it back : /
same here, and why the hell is his voice so distorted, what was intended to be scary sounding, is funny to me. I barely understand him without subtitles. XD
AEspurr Gaming I know right same xD
Probably the best game series in my opinion and with them doing a remake for the original games there hope for a remake of this one
I didn't like this trilogy much, but This Broken Soul and the intro music for the first game bring me to tears evertim, even after all these years lol
The spyro games I loved to play besides the games themselves the music is truly captivating and you can feel all the emotion that went in these pieces
Floating islands [Fighting] is like the best Final Fantasy boss theme there never was. Seriously, it's good.
the first sound track has brought peace to my heart
Oh boy, Guide You Home is gonna make me cry... don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry... aw dang it😭
The legend of Spyro series are amazing
i love the legend of spyro
Same :)
No problem!
I will always love TLoS series its a great chunk of my childhood this brought back so many memories!
Yeah, I know what you mean, it was a great part of my childhood too :)
The nostalgia hit me hard on this one
A new beginning was one of the best games ever made 100%
Tall Plains is my favorite level ! :)

Such nostalgia, but i remember still.... i will never forget that experience...
Goodbye Spyro..
Absolutely loved the series.

Yeah it's a shame what happened to the movie.

+SoulSpirit No problem glad it helped :D.
My childhood :(
why do i feel so sad whenever i hear the first song??? this is especially after dawn off the dragon, when that ended. its a happy and sad game to me. i miss spyro.
It's sad that these games had to come to an end, but in the end I'm glad they were made.
@@borderlander15 yes! It's the same with me, because if they were never made, then I wouldn't be close to my siblings when playing this game. Brings back memories.
@@kaylewolf That's great to hear about how these games positively effected your life :)
@@kaylewolf Thanks for subbing! From the games you just listed you have good taste in good games:)

I miss you so much spyro...
The legend of spyro trilogy will always be my top favorite next to the original seiries🥰🥰🥰
Good to have you back Spyro
It has been so long
I wished that the Developers had way more time to create thid games....
They had so much potential.
Exactly! :D
:D
Plz remake this game 😭 I beg of you !!!!!
SOUNDS AMAZING AT DIFFERENT PLAYBACK SPEEDS! You have to listen to the beginning at max speed! (X2)
