That dependes if respecing all the attributes lets me reduce all of them to 3. I added points to Cool at the start of my save file. Based on the changes, netrunning doesn't need things from the Cool tree anymore to speed upload and cool down.
I really like what they are doing with combat. I never thought the CP2077 combat was bad but this will get it so much depth. Making movement and abilities actually matter and not just “who can rank the most and dish the most damage out”
Man, the crafting update is HUGE. I've so f'n hyped to do another full playthrough from the beginning with the Phantom Liberty content waiting for me. Such exciting times. People who still have reluctance to play need to seriously reconsider. Even in the current state the game is so good, and it's just going to get better.
They really upped the requirements though didn't they? So most of us won't even be able to play it with decent fps yet again. Even those of us with a 3070
I would like to have much more "life-sim" activities as well as having interiors for the buildings. I understand that dev time is limited, but if CDPR released a mod-tool akin to the Creation Kit that Bethesda releases for their games, the community could go crazy with "new zones" such as building interiors as well as populating the Badlands - even going further into the NUSA. As far as my prep goes, I'm grinding out a ton of eddies on a relatively new save - once I hit above $1.5 mill (after vehicle and apartment), I'll craft a ton of legendary pistols, clothing, and quickhacks just to see if those will give any decent materials for dismantling once the patch goes live.
Ima just start fresh. I played 75% of the story from 2021 then took a long break and now I have beaten the game just intime before 2.0. My playtime was around 50 hours and I honestly don't remember the story, so a fresh start will be great for me!
same I played through the entire game about a solid 5 times, then some with mods lots of mods. I will be starting fresh, like if its a new game I'm excited. then the mods will come along in a few months or weeks lol
V tries to do some stuff and then they drop dead at the end after having accomplished none of what they set out to do, while also killing droves of innocents along the way. That's the story. If you play your cards right a digital copy of V gets to ride off into the sunset with original V's love interest who has no idea that the actual V is dead.

More live sim features please! I´m heavily into the RPG aspects, and Cyberpunk has always been lacking in that department. Good game otherwise, but also the ability to take friendly npcs with you at other times than the very few main missions would rock, dicovering Night City together, hearing them comment on the stuff you experience.
I'm really looking forward to this update. Baldur's Gate 3 kept me busy until Lies of P, now I'm suspecting Lies of P will keep me sated until Phantom Liberty comes out. I look forward to just deleting all my saves and starting fresh. It's like a relaunch of Cyberpunk done in a much better state with a much better idea of what works and what doesn't. Gonna be fresh.
What they don't tell you is we are getting 28 less perk points. I have 108 rn but the limit on the builder is 80 and 10 points are locked behind having the dlc so the base game has 70, so actually 38 less
Fuckin this 👆 ! 80 is not enough to get all the things i want especially since you have to spend a load of points on things you might not even want just to get to the finisher perks ! On top of that i like to choose things that are realistic so having to now have something that for example magically increases fire rate for 6 secs just to get to a more realistic perk pisses me off.
this needs to be pinned it killed unique builds as you unlocked multiple possible skills with level before letting you choose to take some over others for more fleshed and detailed builds. This literally just limits players. Horrible decision
Also clothing should always have some kind of bonus. It makes no sense for what you're wearing to have no effect on you survivability otherwise there's no point in wearing anything

I installed to my NVME drive. I have copied the old install to my 2nd spinny drive. My hope is to keep at least 1 install un-upgraded with 2.0 patch. Just so I can still play the pre Phantom Liberty version if I want to. I will likely start anew with PL. I mean I have like 4 or 5 play throughs with all gig's, side jobs and scanner hustles done. Each has around 2-3 million eddies on hand although I haven't bought EVER car or apartment on them. I really don't see a need to. I buy my favorites which is really only 1 apartment and 2 vehicles. Typically though, I just end up staying at Judy's the most LOL.
I think the whole game is getting the update so all your saves will be included. I think they’re just saying wait until the update to experience the whole story in a new way.

I hope that they bring life to the food items. There’s so many different and interesting food and drinks yet they give the same boring health regeneration. I would like for every item to have a unique but minimal effect that at least gives some variety. It just doesn’t make sense that every food item has its own art but they all do the same thing.
I hope the line of sight is real cuz I hate being in the middle of nowhere and you hit a corner in the car and hit a pop up NPC and boom: one star. Like wtf

I was about to reinstall but apparently we got 8 more days until the update goes live. I absolutely loved the games story, world, characters and Anime. The combat was...ok lol. Really looking forward to this.

Well at least the devs are not scary to reply to players asking questions. Look at Blizzard and d4, players saw problems and asked questions regarding it....silence...nothing done about it....the blizz devs put their heads in sand and pretend everything is fine while doing minimal work. I quit c2077 quick back on launch becouse of some bugs and was waiting for them to fix it so I can fully enjoy the game. So now I am waiting for 2.0 and start fresh.

i never checked about the pets, but i do pet a cat outside vik' clinic, i just figured an animation thats rarely seen, sir fluffles won't jump on my face in combat, tho postal shows more uses for a cat

I think it's really weird to launch the patch 5 days before the DLC. For most people who are intending on playing the game with the 2.0 patch and also going to be buying the DLC. I don't understand who would choose to not to just wait the 5 extra days.
Phantom Liberty is only accessible from the character creation or around the mid point of the main story (and after that certain point) some just want to check out all the new stuff (there is A LOT of new stuff)
I will use my 50/50 character to try out all the combination first. Then decide whether I go for a new save with specific build. U know. Farming XP and $ is hard n time consuming.
Has anybody mentioned whether shop or enemy dropped clothing will denote whether it has been dismantled for transmog yet or not? Id like to collect all the clothing but it is going to be tough if i dont know what's still "new" to my character.
When they say it will run as good or better than the current version of cyberpunk. Do they mean if you run this 2.0 on your current pc ( considerinf your above min spec) your expecting similar or better performance or are they saying based latest spec sheet, those builds run better?

I saw the new specs and it's 4080 with i9 12900 for 4k 60 pt but I get sometimes those spec sheets are off..sometimes by alot. So if this is the case..I should be ok Thanks for the response man. Im on the xss and I think if I had 1 or 2 crashes in cyberpunk, it were too many. The game always ran fine in the xss even when it got patched for 60fps. A game that would constantly crash on me on the xss was deus ex: mankind divided (not to mention fallout 4, which is low hanging fruit).

Does anyone know if the cyber ware is still attached to attribute level? Because I look over at the build planner for 2.0 and it seems that they have decided to separate the gun perks to different attributes (AR/submachine to reflex, precision/sniper/revolvers to cool, and shotgun/LMG to body). Right now, most of my specs are into 18 body, 20 reflex, and 20 tech.
The train mod could have been adopted by the dev team, I know they did something similar to witcher 3 mods. Sucks that anything left out wont be available for the console crowd.
One pet peeve I had with cyberpunk before this update is that it didnt made much sense on harder difficulties that I could die in stupid ways while a valentino wearing a tank top would take 5 rockets to his face. Still kinda silly but at least now that tank top wont be a tanky top lol, instead I will need to assume that entering a gang of poor chums will allow me to have state of the art armor augs.
@@TheGameSenseiYT I usually like to think of a difficult gauge as everyone and everything becoming more lethal, across the board. They could still rank up the armor of npcs that are clearly tanks, like the Animals, MaxTac or Smasher, just keep it 1 to 1 for everyone else (and by keeping 1 to 1 I mean, implement good armor augs for enemies that would have them based on the augs vendors have, just not the most expensive ones to everyone).
I hope are iconic that e have the patch gives us the proper recipe's. Otherwise will have to start from scratch because I have downed a fair bit of unique targets.

What i did was craft a bunch of orange weapons and clothes with the materials and im waiting for 2.0 so I can then dismantle them for those new materials.
I have a ryzen 5 2400g and rx 570 -__- I can run the game fine rn but I'm hoping I can still run it cause starfield and armored core 6 I can't run very well, I want to upgrade but don't have the money :,(
It would be best to create a new character and start from the beginning. That's what I'm going to do. But if you're so far in the game, might as well continue and do new game plus with the patch.
you don't have to. you can play your old character. but you can only start the expansion after you finished the voodoo boys mission in Pacifica. check out my recent videos - I explained it in great detail in those videos :)
Preordered the game on Xbox, game released, I got a refund, waited a year for fixes, had other games to play, built a new high end pc, re bought the game on pc, now I’m excited to finally play this game when 2.0 launches.

The build planner has a max of 80 perk points but i've got like 117 on my master save and thats still having attributes spare so i hope im not gonna lose those over 80 ! 2. Is if say you have 14 attributes in body and levelled it to 14 then when you get the respec will body still be pre levelled if i ever put attributes back in ? So it'll be ready to go !
@@TheGameSenseiYT if you level passive skills and find shards you can get well over 80. On series S so no mods and have 105 currently with a potential for 10 more in my pistols skill which isnt leveled.
They already said the updates have stopped coming for last gen consoles. Next gen only will get this update and phantom liberty. Sucks for you if you’re stuck with a console from a decade ago.
Hold on a second. We can already wear whatever we want and we already have those systems in game! You dont even have to dismantle, and acquired clothing automatically goes into wardrobe. This isnt new? Ill be pissed if my whole wardrobe gets deleted upon updating.
I will be buying the ps4 version because the 2.0 updates simply wreck the game. It's just a bunch of stupid cinematic moves into one button press finishing moves. Everything is now stamina based, even just shooting a damn gun, so even if you are good at shooting games, you will now be penalized. They added way too much time slowing shit for people who suck at aiming. They took out any need for actual skill. And by getting rid of almost half the skill tree, now all character builds are pretty much the same now. You are either a ninja with guns, a ninja with swords, or a ninja with hacks. All of the arm cyberware seems pointless or heavily overpowered now. Even the arm cyberware perks in the relic perk section are absolutely pointless and seemingly not worth even using. I can't believe they wrecked the game like this. All the weapons are even less useful now, no ricochet bonus multipliers, no bonus multipliers ON ANYTHING. So weapons that aren't the top class are not even worth using at all. I have like 700+ hours of play time in this game(beat it 5 times), and it looks like a completely different and more boring to play game now. The new version looks like trash, I wish I could play phantom liberty with the old(better) gameplay mechanics.

normally GOG allows for switching versions. they removed vanilla some months after release though, because of obvious reasons

Do they mean if you run this 2.0 on your current pc ( considerinf your above min spec) your expecting similar or better performance or are they saying based latest spec sheet, those builds run better?

@@TheGameSenseiYT so it's funny because I got a 4080 with i7 12700f and 32g I run cyberpunk with path tracing at 4k with FG. I saw the new specs and it's 4080 with i9 12900 for 4k 60 pt but I get sometimes those spec sheets are off..sometimes by alot.
So if this is the case..I should be ok

@c523jw7 in another post of the AMA thread TheNeonArcade says they run a 3080 and some Ryzen CPU (I forgot) and path tracing makes their setup explode 😅
but on their regular settings it runs good.

Im on the xss and I think if I had 1 or 2 crashes in cyberpunk, it were too many. The game always ran fine in the xss even when it got patched for 60fps. A game that would constantly crash on me on the xss was deus ex: mankind divided (not to mention fallout 4, which is low hanging fruit).

Because I look over at the build planner for 2.0 and it seems that they have decided to separate the gun perks to different attributes (AR/submachine to reflex, precision/sniper/revolvers to cool, and shotgun/LMG to body).
Right now, most of my specs are into 18 body, 20 reflex, and 20 tech.
I don't know about the Cyberware but right now the guns are also categorized to different attributes?! 🤔

One pet peeve I had with cyberpunk before this update is that it didnt made much sense on harder difficulties that I could die in stupid ways while a valentino wearing a tank top would take 5 rockets to his face. Still kinda silly but at least now that tank top wont be a tanky top lol, instead I will need to assume that entering a gang of poor chums will allow me to have state of the art armor augs.

@@TheGameSenseiYT I usually like to think of a difficult gauge as everyone and everything becoming more lethal, across the board. They could still rank up the armor of npcs that are clearly tanks, like the Animals, MaxTac or Smasher, just keep it 1 to 1 for everyone else (and by keeping 1 to 1 I mean, implement good armor augs for enemies that would have them based on the augs vendors have, just not the most expensive ones to everyone).

It’s not hard to save up on any kind of crafting components with the dupe glitch I currently have 15k+ of each component type
What i did was craft a bunch of orange weapons and clothes with the materials and im waiting for 2.0 so I can then dismantle them for those new materials.

Preordered the game on Xbox, game released, I got a refund, waited a year for fixes, had other games to play, built a new high end pc, re bought the game on pc, now I’m excited to finally play this game when 2.0 launches.

You will NOT have all your perk points, in fact we're losing a bunch of them because there are no longer xp bars connected to perk tree's

The build planner has a max of 80 perk points but i've got like 117 on my master save and thats still having attributes spare so i hope im not gonna lose those over 80 ! 2. Is if say you have 14 attributes in body and levelled it to 14 then when you get the respec will body still be pre levelled if i ever put attributes back in ? So it'll be ready to go !

@@TheGameSenseiYT if you level passive skills and find shards you can get well over 80. On series S so no mods and have 105 currently with a potential for 10 more in my pistols skill which isnt leveled.

the only thing that can enhance your experience on old Gen is installing an SSD.
without an SSD there is 0 chance for cyberpunk to run good.
They already said the updates have stopped coming for last gen consoles. Next gen only will get this update and phantom liberty. Sucks for you if you’re stuck with a console from a decade ago.

Hold on a second. We can already wear whatever we want and we already have those systems in game! You dont even have to dismantle, and acquired clothing automatically goes into wardrobe. This isnt new? Ill be pissed if my whole wardrobe gets deleted upon updating.

I will be buying the ps4 version because the 2.0 updates simply wreck the game. It's just a bunch of stupid cinematic moves into one button press finishing moves. Everything is now stamina based, even just shooting a damn gun, so even if you are good at shooting games, you will now be penalized. They added way too much time slowing shit for people who suck at aiming. They took out any need for actual skill. And by getting rid of almost half the skill tree, now all character builds are pretty much the same now. You are either a ninja with guns, a ninja with swords, or a ninja with hacks. All of the arm cyberware seems pointless or heavily overpowered now. Even the arm cyberware perks in the relic perk section are absolutely pointless and seemingly not worth even using. I can't believe they wrecked the game like this. All the weapons are even less useful now, no ricochet bonus multipliers, no bonus multipliers ON ANYTHING. So weapons that aren't the top class are not even worth using at all. I have like 700+ hours of play time in this game(beat it 5 times), and it looks like a completely different and more boring to play game now. The new version looks like trash, I wish I could play phantom liberty with the old(better) gameplay mechanics.
