First of all, in the Xerofang trailer, Iso, Jett and Phoenix went to Thailand, not China which surprised me. The islands u behind them in the main men is James Bond island, one of the famous islands in Thailand from what I know. Not to mention the Drift TDM map that was released JUST after Iso's release, is also located in Thailand, but holds no proper reason why besides its cool. So I believe Riot is quietly signaling us that Iso is a chinese from Thailand, but chinese is his main language. If he originated in China, he would have definitely taken the other two there. Again, this ultimately leads to nothing, but its a cool way of differentiating Sage and Iso despite both being the chinese agents. Correct me if Im wrong though.
When i saw the card for the new agent from colombia, I think that it will be related to the yellow butterfly's, that's a huge nod to our Nobel Writer García Marques, also the coffee and the bread with cheese on the trailer... Just exceptional details
im a very casual valorant player and i always thought of the lore more like an excuse to justify the characters fighting themselves, and considering how colorful and silly the game (plus skins, graffiti etc) i would have never expect the lore to be so damn intense jesus christ
