I had the chance to be there personally...I went to NYork ....and could not believe I was in the presence of an excellent cast with Polenzani...fantastic as ever ...Di Donato as always with voice and acting perfectly...and Ms D’ Angelo....so young ...fulfilling with beautiful voice and presence..her character....If Mozart were alive...he could have felt and live an outstanding reggie of his splendid music and setting complemented with this complete cast...I am from Uruguay ...and have assisted quite many times...to the Met...that night I thought I was 8n a cloud of beauty

Her top is SO much more secure than JDD. That shaky, quivering mess when JDD goes above an F5 is just terrible.
It's a good performance, but very light and fast. I don't get the weight of the moment at all.
Not a mezzo voice I'd recognize from two dozen others but her freshness is welcome and she puts JDD's soprano-manqué to shame.
