When the car starts to get loose you don’t want to fight it and try to counter the wheel, just drive the corners as you normally would and let the car be loose, the back end will start to shake but you won’t spin out unless you’re braking late and then forcing the corner while staying in the throttle. It’s hard to not react when the car starts to loosen up, just tell yourself to keep it steady 👍🏼
Some tips for Trev and fans 1. Drive in first person you can get a better feel of the car & true angel without lock. 2. Mainly for slower tracks and f1. Drive in manual you can get more speed by feel also being in the power band and you can utilize engine braking. 3. Dont look back as much. You tend to look back and get distracted easily. These are just some tips that I think would help you. I know that they did for me.
I live ~ 10 minutes from Indianapolis Motor Speedway and it’s crazy just how much Indy truly loves the IMS/Indy 500. So many people having IMS flags flying outside their homes year round.
Trev Make Most Of Your Passes Mid , To Late Race . Once The Front Runners Are Helping Each Other And No One In The Back Is Helping Them Stay Tight Together , Then You’ll Lose Time . Help Other Drivers Get Their Draft , Also Keep Their Draft . That’s How You Don’t Lose The Pack .
If you find yourself in no mans land the only way you’re catching back up to the pack is to either sit behind the person in front of you bump drafting them or having them do it to you. Swapping positions is just gonna lose you time every lap. Also if you want to stop hitting the apron in turns you need to move your eyes to the apex either at your breaking point or corner entry if there’s no breaking point. Same thing when you’re playing F1, you’ll be amazed at how many apexes you won’t miss if you just focus your eyes there instead of behind you or the car in front.
The Indy 500 is the biggest race in the IndyCar Series. The Brickyard 400 (which is what he is racing) is not the biggest race in NASCAR but it is definitely a historic one
Few tips: (1) You wanna run a tighter setup when you usually have real tight corners like a smaller track, for bigger corners like a speedway or super speedway run looser, running too loose will chew your tires up faster so don’t go all the way with it. (2) Play on expert for controls, you’ll get better track speeds and is still easy to control. (3) you have the worst car in the game since it’s your first season that’s why your so slow and get bad goal times. If you do step 2* you’ll be able to actually compete. (4) Also in your settings make the AI tighter this way there not all spread out across the track. Makes for a more realistic race as well as more entertaining.
Everyone thinks this track is the same at all four corners. But in fact they are all different. Turn one has a dip that cars lose a bit of aero affecting turn in. Turn two is different speed than turn 4. Turn three is different from turn one as it has a bump mid turn and also the wind direction affects cars speeds on both long straights. Which also changes the cars speed coming out of the short Shute at 2 and 4
I remember coming here 2015 gordon was my favorite driver my only race that I hot to watch him race in it was his last brickyard 400 and Clint bowyer crashed him
Did you ever see the J R hildebrand crash? He had the indy 500 all but won and hit the wall off of turn four and dan wheldon ended up winning, absolutely crazy.
I tried to play F1 2020 and just couldn’t do it..... I tried the downshifting and braking at the yellow and only one time did I make the apex perfectly...... and it was on the easiest track..... I’ve been enjoying this a lot more!! My favorite track so far is Talladega!
Trev sorry to correct you but in NASCAR it's the brickyard 400 and in INDYCAR people would call it the Indianapolis 500 and others would call it the INDY 500.
Cant tell you how to drive but if you would have hooked up with JJ for 4 laps, you two could have utilized the draft to more of an advantage to rejoin the group. Patience is just as integral as feathering the gas/brake instead of fully lifting or fully braking individually. Use them together trying not to switch pedals with one foot. Tandem attacks
Hey Trev just so ya know, with your win earlier this season you qualified for the playoffs which will be the last 10 races of the season. Idk it thatll change what races you wanna drive but just thought I'd let you know!
With this game u should barely have to use ur break just get off the gas earlier and get low and bout Galway through turn sometimes little longer u get back on it
You seem to be getting left in no man's land a lot late race. I know that bump drafting feels like you are helping someone, but it helps you just as much. At about lap 4 when you saw top 15 breaking away. You need to try and bump draft with Jimmie as much as possible. You'll both go faster and catch up. Passing him is nice, but now you have no way to get up further. You can always pass him later, but help him move up with you so you are drafting and moving faster than the group in front of yoy

I recommend you go to the Indy 500, I been a few times and I LOVE it.
I live ~ 10 minutes from Indianapolis Motor Speedway and it’s crazy just how much Indy truly loves the IMS/Indy 500. So many people having IMS flags flying outside their homes year round.
trev you should do a full length race on a live stream for 4.5 million subs.
What up Tmartn, would you be interested in a beach meetup with jeeps and other off-road vehicles once this crazy time we live in clears up
Ya see ya next year when “everything clears up” 😂😂

You don’t wanna break just lift off
Growing up and living 20 minutes away from the track ; I never knew how lucky I was until I got into F1, Indy Car, and NASCAR!

Love that you did brickyard. Love all the recent NASCAR and F1. Keep Up The Great Work Trevor and Stay Safe
Gotta stay hooked in behind them and push them forward.
Indy and Monaco on the same day. Love the series Trev.
I bet the surprise is that Chels is gonna be driving at Daytona 😂
Be quiet
Bingo
Love all of ur videos tell cooper and koda I said hi!!!
As someone who lives in Indianapolis I didn’t know that the Indy 500 was that big of a racing event
lol no offense but do you live under a rock in Indianapolis?
Michael Lucarelli Na just didn’t think it was so popular just thought it like on the smaller side. Don’t really pay attention to racing

trev when the hair coming off lol
I love your videos Trevor, thanks for making my day every day
Almost went to sleep and then saw this. Thanks Trev for making a series I can't help but watch
Please don't skip races... I wish you would bump the length up longer... I love Nascar.
If you made the races longer you can get higher in the standings
The small and fast tracks are the best trev
Hey Trev try doing the 24 hours of Le Mans. That would be a very cool and historic race.
jacob wisenfelder this is nascar...
In the settings change the skill range to narrow this will make the cars closer together on the longer runs
Its also the race capital of the whole world
yes, i love this series!!!!!!!

Braking causes more tire wear! Try just letting off the gas
I remember coming here 2015 gordon was my favorite driver my only race that I hot to watch him race in it was his last brickyard 400 and Clint bowyer crashed him
This track is LIT. ♥️🙏🏻
Me * leaves for one day* TmartTn2 * ok so im gonna post 6 videos* Keep up the good work love the vids
Kentucky is a fun race to watch though I actually enjoy racing it as well
You absolutely need to race at Kentucky it’s really new and an incredible year fast and agressive track
Yes my home track
😎Your are my hero😎
I think you should race the last 10 races of the season since it's the playoffs, and I think with your win at Bristol, you will qualify for it.
Did you ever see the J R hildebrand crash? He had the indy 500 all but won and hit the wall off of turn four and dan wheldon ended up winning, absolutely crazy.
I’ve actually never heard someone call this track Indy Motor Speedway 😂
Great video Trev! 👍🇺🇸
I tried to play F1 2020 and just couldn’t do it..... I tried the downshifting and braking at the yellow and only one time did I make the apex perfectly...... and it was on the easiest track..... I’ve been enjoying this a lot more!! My favorite track so far is Talladega!
good racing out there
Pushing someone also helps you out also by gaining more speed and then timing it right to pass the driver your pushing
Trev sorry to correct you but in NASCAR it's the brickyard 400 and in INDYCAR people would call it the Indianapolis 500 and others would call it the INDY 500.
The Indy 500 is the largest one day sporting event in the world
i die laughing while watching him play fall guys 🤣🤣
If you make the playoffs, don’t skip those races
The lose/ tight settings should be to where you can take corners at full speed, with slight give for tire wear (If On)
great video Trev!!
Love this series
Hey where’s my notification? I swear I didn’t even get one...
Neither did I. I've been getting mine 5 days after upload
RUclips usually doesn’t upload after the third video of the day! This was number 4 :(
TmarTn2 That’s why! Thanks.
TmarTn2 ok thanks for telling. I would rather have 4 uploads in a day than to not get a noti tho
You need to turn grip in settings from less to more
Trev, you don't have to run so close to the wall on the straights. You should run a little off the wall so you don't lose speed down the straight.
if you ever go out to indy you should do the bus tour. i’m form indy i have been to the museum a lot
I love going to this race it’s sad I can’t go this year because of covid
I’ve been to Indy, sitting in the infield. Saw Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson win
Hey I live by that track 😂
I love this sereis keep up the great work. 👍
You should check out the truck races and dirt track races
If there isn’t a caution when you needed one, make one
Awesome

Kentucky is too fun you have to race it!
You need to use your team out there find one and push their car forward don't be afraid to push a car to catch up to the main pack
Speed and Power
Who remember trev 6 years ago?
Can’t trev just turn his wheel even more to get higher speeds? “On loose ofc”
Hey Trev just so ya know, with your win earlier this season you qualified for the playoffs which will be the last 10 races of the season. Idk it thatll change what races you wanna drive but just thought I'd let you know!
Should of tried to work with Johnson to catch the next car instead of trying to pass
You gotta play Kentucky, it’s a fun race to play
do all of the races plz don't skip anyone plz. oh and btw las vegas the next time is a night race, so was Kentucky
Yes great call skip some of the 1.5 mile tracks for sure
I literally just played the same race before watching
Here so early I don’t know what to do with my hands ✋🏼🤚🏼
Chez Hardy me either
put strict cautions on for more restarts
Fast & Furious Crossroads is out now if you don't know it yet!
Playing NASCAR Heat 4, The road courses, Dover, Pocono, Indianapolis, and Phoenix are my worst tracks.
Its called Indianapolis motor Speedway bro. Just saying. great video man
Still nice race
You should do a race In first person
please don’t call it “Indy Motor Speedway”
Why? is it offencive
I didn’t get the notification but It was on my recommendation
Hey Trev, do Nascar tracks have those "sausage curbs?"🤔
Hi Trevor 👋
With this game u should barely have to use ur break just get off the gas earlier and get low and bout Galway through turn sometimes little longer u get back on it
F1 raced there in the early 2000s
It would be interesting if you did online races

Would probably be faster to let momentum choose who pushes, jj can easily push him
U are awesome 💯
*Yo trev you should play dis game named scrutinized it’s amazing*
You should buy a hotas joystick and use it with Star Wars squadrons
InDy DoN'T iS a OvAl
