I love Pitt. Went here some years back to see the Stones at your beautiful arena. People were great. Hung out at a bar before the show. Met some people and became friendly with some locals. One guy who wasn't going to the show but just hanging was great. Turns out at the end when we were getting ready to leave and go to the show he paid my tab and my wife and I were drinking and eating which he gave us some suggestions and in the end he said hey my friend, "Welcome to Pittsburgh"! Amazing. Such a great city. Being a beer fan im gonna have to come to this festival.
Fred Rogers lived in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood and his "Won't you be my neighbor?" spirit is alive and well! Love a place that welcomes you with open arms.
Sydney, Australia. Growing scene here with lots of breweries dotted around the city and then with some hidden gems. Mountain Culture in the beautiful Blue Mountains is making a incredible stuff. I believe their Hazy IPA Be Kind Rewind made Untappd's top 5!
It sure does! A lot has changed in 28 years that's for sure. I definitely plan to make the trip to Deer. Been loyal to Iron City most of my life! I always tell my wife about the company picnics they had at River View park back in the day. Was always a highlight for me.
I was “snowed in” in Phoenix during that same time (Seattle). Got a chance to hit up North Mountain Brewing Co. Which was awesome…. Then what did they do..? Route me back thru Dallas. Haha
Found this through a badge I got on the app. Thought I was going to watch a show about craft beer, but it ended up being so much more and I love it. Definitely check out Orlando's beer and spirits scene. We may be known for our theme parks, but there's plenty of amazing places that tourists can check out beyond the parks.
@@untappd4695 Beer Research Institute and Lochiel on the east side in Mesa are always good. King's Beer and Wine in the downtown Phx area is one of the best bottle shops I've seen.
@@untappd4695 Superstition Meadery has a tasting room in downtown Phoenix. Also recommend Shop Beer Co in Tempe., Tombstone Brewing (Phoenix location), Goldwater Brewing in Scottsdale or Mesa.
The Church Brew Works. Come on. Take into account with this feedback, that I'm singling a place out leaving other solid places out, as well as that I last lived there in 2012 (so there are new solid spots I haven't been), but to do a show about beer in PGH without visit, let alone mention, of The Church Brew Works in Lower Lawrenceville is a travesty. It's an architectural gem, ambience epitome, as well as being a Belgian, local craft, and US craft brewery mecca.
You should 100% send Kenny to Asheville/brevard, NC this area has the most breweries per capita on the east coast👌🏼 and if you enjoy sours, they are big here🤘🏼
That would be awesome. Hop Culture just published a big piece on Genesee (www.hopculture.com/the-cult-of-genesee-cream-ale/) and the history of that place is fantastic.
Okay, so you asked for comments on where you should go next - look at Richmond, VA. It has a thriving beer (and other spirits) scene, especially in the warehousey area of Scott's Addition, which is kind of like the Strip District.
That's a really interesting comparison! I wonder if the Strip will get as many breweries as Scott's Addition... so far, we only have Cinderlands holding down the fort!
@@untappd4695 There's at least one distillery in the Strip as well. Many cities have these places that used to be warehouses and then attract hip places like breweries that need cheap rent.
For your next city, try Stowe VT. I just finished a 7000 mile road trip west of the Mississippi and sampled IPA’s at each overnight stop. Hazy New England IPA’s are my favorite, and I only found two decent ones on my trip. In Stowe, there are MANY great ones that are brewed within a 10 mile radius. If you want a New England IPA, go to New England. Start in Stowe. It’s a can’t-miss opportunity.
I would probably talk about the craft beer scene, not the drinking scene...don't see any mention of Hitchhiker, Grist House, Dancing Gnome or any other great breweries located in Pittsburgh. Second I would probably make a half-hour, not 15 minutes. Don't think you accomplish much in that short of time. Your next stop should probably be Wilmington where ironically Untapped got started, yet for some odd reason doesn't want anything to do with the city...SMH
You're not the first person to say that! Fort Collins is a mecca. We visited a couple of years back and have heard the scene has only gotten better. Would love to get back!
Trondheim, Norway. A city with many brewers and you have the E.C Dahls that work with Brooklyn brewery. And a wisit to Hammerhead brewery is not wrong.
I 100% agree with you on this one! We just moved to Bergen and have been so impressed with the selection of craft beers they have here. We’ve discovered so many different kinds! Trondheim would be interesting for sure.
Absolutely, and criminally ignored in the state, imo. Doesn't help that Austin is down the road, perhaps, and that the Texas distribution laws really hamper things.
Go to Portland! I came back from a week of brewery hopping and I'm so glad my friend and I chose to go there! I liked Cascades, Great Notion, Modern Times, WayFinder, Ecliptic, Deschutes... just to name a few!
Omaha, NE should be your next location! Omaha has had a long brewing history, dating back to the mid-1800s, including Krug, Metz, Storz, and Falstaff. Omaha currently has 10+ breweries, plus multiple taprooms for breweries in central and eastern NE, and several locations of “Local Beer, Patio and Kitchen”, a locally owned brew pub which features only beers from NE and western IA.
Maybe too obvious of a choice, but San Diego should be featured. There are some obvious popular places to visit but there are a bunch of smaller brewers putting out quality beer.
Also, in Pa, so maybe a later episode, but Philly is a clear must. Great breweries in town, longstanding Belgian beer love, and Beer Week in June is just off the hook. One of the best beer cities in the US.
My hometown Düsseldorf in Germany has a wellknown quarter for amusement (beer bars, discos….) which is called “Altstadt “! Locals exaggerate a little bit if they call it “longest bar in the world” but there are more than 260 bars!! The local beer (from this part of the Rheinland) is “Altbier”. A dark, tasty beer which is always served from tap in little glasses of 0,2/ 0,25 ml. You have Altbier which is kind of sweet (Füchschen) to Altbier which taste very hoppy (Uerige) and everything in between. Most of the breweries (also located in the Altstadt) are family companies for hundred years and know craftsmanship of beer brewing since generations! The habit in a “Hausbrauerei” or Bar is that if your Glas is more than half empty the waiter will bring you a knew beer without asking but will challenge you to drink the rest of your last “Altbier “. You are not leaving the Altstadt thirsty…..
We get some Altbiers in the States but it would be awesome to drink it from the source! We'd love to get over to Europe once we're able to travel freely again. Stay safe and hopefully we'll see you soon! 🍻

I enjoy the big craft brewery scene in Bellingham, Washington - even though it takes a couple of hours to get there from where I live in Marysville, WA. Bellingham is a college town and has a great 'vibe'!
So at Kelly's, they talked about Cocktails. Iron City isn't close to a 'hidden gem'. There are so many craft breweries, so surprised they didn't really touch on those. That being said, always happy to see my hometown publicized.
This is a recurring theme in pittsburgh. Bars and distributors don't seem to carry local craft and no one seems to drink it. Anywhere else I've been seems to at least have a high densityocal following. Help me out. I want to hit the spots but looking for recommendations.
@@williamanderson7607 where are you visiting? Lots of places in PGH have great options. Try Lorelei in East Liberty or The Independent in Squirrel Hill. Duke's in Homestead is also great and the new Thunderbird in Lawrenceville is a great place to watch a show / grab a drink.
Atlanta Metro. Monday Night Brewery, Cherry St. Brewery, Orpheus, New Realm, Scofflaw, Sweetwater, Wild Heaven.... And many more. Undiscovered by the masses yet. I could go on for days about Monday Night Garages Stout and barrel program... I always have a few in reserve for when the mood strikes.
Come to the Canadian west coast! Our city of Victoria has about 300,000 people and at least 15 micro-breweries. We host Beer Fest every Sept that draws brewers from all over the west including WA and OR. There is no shortage of great beer and knowledgeable beer drinkers. And Vancouver is across the Strait- they’re ok too.
Jacksonville, FL. More than 15 breweries. From Engine 15 at the beaches to Intuition downtown. If you are looking for a gastropub, Kickbacks with 200 beers on tap and a cellar of rare finds.
Cool video, well produced but I didn't feel like we got to see much of the beer scene. I hope to visit Pittsburgh one day regardless, seems like a rad city and I know there's really amazing craft beer coming out of there. Cheers 🍻
Great feedback! Most people don't think of Pittsburgh as a top tourism destination but it's incredible for the food and drink alone. We could only show so much in 15 minutes but you'd need a lifetime to explore everything.
I from the Indianapolis area and we have an awesome craft beer selection, but my vote to where Kenny should visit is Fargo, ND! Great beer scene with some pretty great food options - the "Wurst Beer Hall" serves a flight of beer with a flight of bacon! Just need to get there before winter sets in!
Ha! We might consider waiting until the weather gets warmer. Have you ever had any beer from Drekker in Fargo? We've tried some of their fruited sours and WOW!
Untappd is pretty America-centric & there's unlimited cities/regions they can visit... but if they ever need a Sydney rep & you need a hand for someone to put a video together, I'll take beer as payment.
Cleveland. Definitely do a show in Cleveland. Not only do we have Great Lakes Brewery, but the surrounding area has Platform, Franklin's, Unplugged, Market Garden, Terrestrial, and a slew of others; but we have great destination pubs like Melt, Happy Dog, The Rail, and The Foundry. (Some of those are outside Cleveland proper, but in the area.) Seriously. The Cleveland beer scene is *lit*.

@@anthonytaylor6203 👍 Having been to so many of them over the last 25 years or more, I can say that Masthead is the top Cleveland brewery. The IPA with a green and white label is their lead IPA, and it's good, but isn't remotely representative. They do seasonal/occasionals that are the best beers I've ever had. Especially their NEIPAs and 2x or 3x of the same. I want to trade with some Boston beer heads who can send Treehouse & Trillium for them. I expect that they'll compare well.

I guess someone should bring up my own Hometown of Oklahoma City. We have surprised a lot of beer travelers who came though. Plus its location works well for people trying to pack cities in on a tour. Side note i had family in western PA. So I’ve been to Pittsburgh but never got to drink there.
Cool video! It's interesting to hear about the beer scenes and just neighborhoods in general of different cities. You should definitely make a stop in Milwaukee! The beer scene here has exploded over the last 5-10 years. We're living up to the Brew City name! 🍻
You guys need to do a European tour. Head to Brugge (or anywhere in Belgium for that matter), Munich for the beer festival and the UK for the Ales. So many more I could add to that list including Copenhagen and Gothenburg but you'll never want to go home.
That's the dream! Once we're able to travel a bit more, a Europe tour would be awesome. We had the opportunity to visit Copenhagen right before COVID and it was incredible. There was this wine bar / sauna on the water called La Banchina that we recommend to anyone who will listen 😆
Next stop, come to Columbus metro area. Lots of breweries, brew pubs and great beers in Columbus and 'burbs, latest addition being an expansion of Jackie O's of Athens Ohio.

I can't believe no one has recommended Nashville, TN! If you want the episode to feature more than beer, you can pair a cold local brew with great entertainment (we are Music City after all) and great food (did someone say Nashville hot chicken?).
Kenny - heck, the entire Hop Culture crew! - would probably enjoy a vacation once the cold weather moves in. So, I'm thinking he should come visit the Monterey Bay Area in California. From Humble Sea and Sante Adairius Rustic Ales on the Northern tip of the Bay to Alvarado Street (and the Dust Bowl and Fieldwork tasting rooms) on the Southern end in Monterey, they'll definitely find a lot of great beer, scenery (hard to beat Highway 1 on the California coast!), and weather!

Anything in Australia would be a dream. Aussie Aussie Aussie!
My dad worked at Pittsburgh Brewing Co when I was growing up. Got to stop in many times to see the brewery in action.
Looks a bit different now, eh? Will you visit the new spot in Deer?
It sure does! A lot has changed in 28 years that's for sure. I definitely plan to make the trip to Deer. Been loyal to Iron City most of my life! I always tell my wife about the company picnics they had at River View park back in the day. Was always a highlight for me.
I lucked out and got stuck in Pittsburgh when Dallas had their freeze over Valentines Day. The Leaning Cask was a favorite.
Orlando has an up-and-coming scene for sure. Have you been to Sideward Brewing? Love the beer and the art there.
@@untappd4695 Yes, one of my favorites!
Come to the Phoenix, AZ area. Great beer scene here now and the weather is amazing this time of year!
Love some AZ Wilderness and Wren House. And does Superstition has an outpost there too? Anywhere else you'd recommend?
@@untappd4695 Beer Research Institute and Lochiel on the east side in Mesa are always good. King's Beer and Wine in the downtown Phx area is one of the best bottle shops I've seen.
@@untappd4695 Superstition Meadery has a tasting room in downtown Phoenix. Also recommend Shop Beer Co in Tempe., Tombstone Brewing (Phoenix location), Goldwater Brewing in Scottsdale or Mesa.
For bottle shops/beer bars: King’s as stated above, Wandering Tortoise in Phoenix, Sleepy Whale in Chandler, Trevor’s Liquors in Scottsdale.
You should 100% send Kenny to Asheville/brevard, NC this area has the most breweries per capita on the east coast👌🏼 and if you enjoy sours, they are big here🤘🏼
Love it. Come to Rochester and the Genesee Brewery!
I second this!
That would be awesome. Hop Culture just published a big piece on Genesee (www.hopculture.com/the-cult-of-genesee-cream-ale/) and the history of that place is fantastic.
Go to Anaheim, CA! There are a ton of breweries there! My personal favorite spot/Taproom with the best beers on tap is Redbeards Taproom. Go there!
Makes me want to get on the next flight to Pittsburgh and visit some breweries, bars and restaurants. Thanks!
Do it!
Come on dahn!
The only real question is, did you visit the Ben and Jerry's Factory??
Pittsburgh has an AMAZING craft beer scene, but there is something nice about our own hometown lager
Please don't shake your head Darin we just want to make you happy.
Fort Collins, CO. Even if you leave out Odell and New Belgium, you still have 25 breweries to pick from in town.
We have always wanted to drink a beer and stare at some fjords. Once we're able to freely travel again, we might take you up on this!
You have to visit Dallas. Such an incredible beer scene! Peticolas, False Idol, Celestial, Turning Point....
Absolutely, and criminally ignored in the state, imo. Doesn't help that Austin is down the road, perhaps, and that the Texas distribution laws really hamper things.
We have been on several vacations that revolved around breweries. Dallas has some of the best in my opinion.
We did not know that! We've heard Des Moines also has a really cool beer scene... can you confirm or deny?
Maybe too obvious of a choice, but San Diego should be featured. There are some obvious popular places to visit but there are a bunch of smaller brewers putting out quality beer.
Also, in Pa, so maybe a later episode, but Philly is a clear must. Great breweries in town, longstanding Belgian beer love, and Beer Week in June is just off the hook. One of the best beer cities in the US.
Great suggestion!
@@untappd4695 In spring or Summer it is even More Nice to stand outside beside the river Rhein and to enjoy your Alt!CU in Düsseldorf!!!Let me know when you are there!
Recently moved to Pittsburgh. Love the city!
Welcome to the 'Burgh! Let us know after you check out Kelly's and Chengdu Gourmet :)
We visited some fantastic breweries in Cincinnati. I think that would be a great city to visit next. Great beers and some really cool spaces.
Rhinegeist, Mad Tree, 50 West, Brink, Esoteric. Take your pick.
Asheville North Carolina IS beer city. It is a must stop for your video.
Where do you like to drink there?
@@untappd4695 Burial has the best IPAs, however most locals agree Highland is the best overall brewery because it checks every box. New Origin is very new but brews all types of beers well.
I enjoy the big craft brewery scene in Bellingham, Washington - even though it takes a couple of hours to get there from where I live in Marysville, WA. Bellingham is a college town and has a great 'vibe'!
We've heard that! Our friend from Superstition Mead in Arizona just opened up Artivem mead in Bellingham. Check it out the next time you're there!
So at Kelly's, they talked about Cocktails.
Iron City isn't close to a 'hidden gem'.
There are so many craft breweries, so surprised they didn't really touch on those. That being said, always happy to see my hometown publicized.
Thanks for the feedback! We'll be sure to find some more hidden spots to feature in our next episodes. 🍻
Second Atlanta, and add Eventide Brewing to the list!
Sounds fun! Give is a top 3 list!
Jacksonville, FL. More than 15 breweries. From Engine 15 at the beaches to Intuition downtown. If you are looking for a gastropub, Kickbacks with 200 beers on tap and a cellar of rare finds.
Have you been to Ology? Such a cool spot!
I’d say Sydney, Australia for sure. Either that or Melbourne. Two huge beer cities down under absolutely bursting with craft breweries!
Untappd is pretty America-centric & there's unlimited cities/regions they can visit... but if they ever need a Sydney rep & you need a hand for someone to put a video together, I'll take beer as payment.
@@shanojebs haha. I was thinking the same thing. Make an Aussie version to show them some of the great beers from Down Under!
(Some of those are outside Cleveland proper, but in the area.)
Seriously. The Cleveland beer scene is *lit*.
Dude, you didn't even name Masthead and Fat Heads. Collision Bend, Hofbrau, I could go on. It's hoppin, but come in the Summer!
I can't believe I left out Fat Heads!
Let's just say I was in hurry. Because I was technically at work.
Anyway, virtual high-five to *everything* you just said.
Great concept and entertaining. Next go to any city. Great beer scenes in Ashville, Bend, Portland, San Diego, Santa Rosa, …….. Good luck
Highly recommend Philadelphia and San Francisco. Both are great beer destinations with lots of small breweries and beer bars.
I would love to see you feature Portland, OR in a future episode of Next Exit. Welcome to Bridgetown USA.
Ha! Pittsburgh has over 400 bridges. But I'm pretty sure Hamburg, Germany beats us both with over 2,300 😂 Great city though! Shoutout Great Notion and Proud Mary Coffee.
You guys are going around the world, right? Maybe a next episode could be in Europe, Belgium with their amazing trappist and abbey beer.
That's the dream! Once COVID calms down. First season will probably be US-based but Europe has so many incredible beer destinations and such history. Someone else mentioned St. Petersburg, Russia, which would be cool too!
The entire tri-state area is known for its bar scene!
I guess someone should bring up my own Hometown of Oklahoma City. We have surprised a lot of beer travelers who came though. Plus its location works well for people trying to pack cities in on a tour. Side note i had family in western PA. So I’ve been to Pittsburgh but never got to drink there.
Oklahoma City has some very good breweries!!!
Thanks for the suggestion! Definitely one we haven't heard before.
Great new show! Love it! Hope you visit Minneapolis or D.C. for one of your episodes.
Ooh good suggestions. Where would you visit in each city??
We would love to host Kenny and show him the amazing York County craft beer scene and its 27 craft breweries.
Next stop, come to Columbus metro area. Lots of breweries, brew pubs and great beers in Columbus and 'burbs, latest addition being an expansion of Jackie O's of Athens Ohio.
Omaha has a solid and growing craft beer scene
Tijuana, Ensenada and Mexicali in Mexico are the 3 main cities of the craft beer movement in the country
What specific places in Mexico should we visit?
You need to go to Grand Rapids, MI. It is known as Beer City USA for a reason. So many great breweries in the city and surrounding area!
For a small town, Grand Rapids has such an incredible scene. Have you been to Brewery Vivant? We've heard amazing things about them.
Totally as the show progresses, you have to go to Milwaukee. Wisconsin has tons of breweries and wineries. Pabst, Miller, and even micro breweries like Sprecher, Lakefront, Urban Harvest, and Water Street Brewery (I love Sprecher's version of pub brown ale and their Abbey Triple).
Yes! Milwaukee would be awesome. Have you been to Eagle Park? We've had their beer but nothing from their distillery yet.
@@untappd4695 haven't yet. Though I heard they opened a second location in Muskego. Though their Huey Lewis and the Booze and their Mimosa Seltzers sound good.
Love this episode. When you come to Buffalo, please don't do the same old, same old. Thanks!
Any recommendations? So much awesome history in that city... it reminds us a bit of Pittsburgh, though it's very different!
@@untappd4695 Thin Man, 42 North, Community, Resurgence and Rusty Nickel. But if you're a hockey fan, Dallas broke the Sabres hearts. Come to Dallas in February when the Lake's region is cloudy and cold. And we won't have a repeat Valentines Day freeze like 2021. The Design District is close to Love Field and Southwest Airlines and boasts about a dozen craft breweries. Celestial is a prime spot when after getting off the plane or waiting for a flight.
If I can add Rochester, so many great breweries out that way too (and I'm in Buffalo). K2, Mortalis, Rising Storm, Genesee for the history, Iron Tug, Fifth Frame. Sorry to all the other great ones left off...
@@stevemudgett4393 Have you tried Froth, and their Liquid Lolipop series? Amazing (subjective opinion of course)!
@@untappd4695 Where do I start?.....Resurgence, Pressure Drop, Big Ditch, 12 Gates, Flying Bison, 42 North, Woodcock, Thin Man....all in the Buffalo area. Don't miss Southern Tier, Steelbound and Ellicottville Brewing an hour south of the city. Not to mention bottle shops like Fattey's and Murphy Brown's. Now I'm thirsty! Gonna have a Turkey Bags by Pressure Drop.
You definitely should think about visiting Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Beautiful city, capital of Russian craft revolution, lots of breweries, unique bar culture
That would be incredible. We've been to St. Petersburg, Florida (which has a terrific beer scene, by the way) but never Russia. What do you think is unique about the bar culture in Saint-Petersburg, Russia?
Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR/Astoria, OR...... They have some of the most amazing beer in the country
We've been to Vancouver and Portland but what's in Astoria that you like?
Head to Atlanta for Wild Heaven, Monday Night, Best End, Three Taverns, etc. etc.
I can't believe no one has recommended Nashville, TN! Music City, USA has several great local breweries and taprooms - Southern Grist, Tennessee Brew Works, Bearded Iris, Yazoo, New Heights, Nashville Brewing Co., Black Abbey, and that's just scratching the surface. If you want the episode to feature more than beer, you can pair a cold local brew with great entertainment (we are Music City after all) and great food (did someone say Nashville hot chicken?).
We went to the Southern Grist 4th Anniversary Festival a couple of years ago. What a time! Such a great city.
Kenny and the team learned to surf in Santa Cruz. and slept at Humble Sea. What an amazing spot. Cat + Cloud Coffee for the win!
Come on out to Paso Robles, CA, I will meet you there and we can have a beer or two!
Union Jack on us!
St Petersburg - Clearwater Florida has an amazing array of breweries and dive bars! Extremely worthy of checking out and sharing with your viewers.
Great suggestion. Green Bench in the morning and Bodega for lunch. Do you have a favorite dive there?
Lubbock, TX. Two Docs and LBK Brewing. I live in San Diego now and these small town Texas Breweries are legit and can give anyone a run for their money.
Nice! What would you recommend?
North Oregon Coast. Ft. George, Bouy Beer, Pelican Brewing, Seaside Brewing, Astoria Brewing and many more.
Oregon Coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world!
Leesburg,Va is definitely a place to go. There's a lot of good breweries there and in the area as well. I'm not from the area either, but look forward to the breweries every time I visit.
Great feedback! When it comes to VA, most people talk about Richmond, but we'll have to check out Leesburg! Do you have any favorites there?

Black Hoof Brewing downtown is my favorite. Bear Chase Brewing in Bluemont VA, is also good. Dirt Farm Brewery has an amazing view on their outside patio.
Just got this badge on untapped so I tuned in. Definitely need to make more episodes about Pittsburgh cuz there's so much beer wise to offer up. I was hoping this would be like an hour long.
You should come to the capital district in NY (Albany, Schenectady, Troy). Great brewers and brewpubs to choose from.
Kenny (the host) spent his summers near Lake George. His parents ran a summer camp. What an amazing part of America!
Copenhagen, Denmark for starters, but stay for a couple of days, because we have a lot of amazing breweries, brewpubs, beerbars and restaurants around our great beerland, but small country.
We love Copenhagen. Have you been to La Banchina? We visited before COVID and would love to get back!
cool show, bring on more
Mexico City is one of the cities in the country that represent better the taproom movement.
Been the craft beer industry relative young in the country this is a perfect destination to look how the industry is been build.
Tell us more. What is in Mexico City?
Come to Cincinnati! Such a great beer scene. Even though I'm not a native, I'm definitely a fan.
Where do you like to drink there?
Go to Cleveland next --- it's Great Lakes Brewing Company Christmas Ale season!!!
We have a friend who doesn't keep a car in his garage. Just cases of Great Lakes Christmas Ale.
Bend, Oregon. Great beer and great town!
Burlington Vermont is probably the best hidden gem for breweries.
I'd definitely like to explore St. Louis, Chicago, and Portland Oregon next myself.
Brew City! Milwaukee, WI of course! So many great micro and nano breweries and more popping up every day. Throw great parties, block parties and musical events.
Pabst is the old, Lakefront is in the middle, and Eagle Park is the new. Someone else recommended Mobcraft and Broken Bat. The list goes on!
Love Pittsburgh! How about Cleveland next?
Cleveland might have the W for most requested city in this thread! What is there that you enjoy?
Rochester, NY (metro). Within the city limits, you have Fifth Frame, Swiftwater, the legendary Genny, and others. Even better, if you venture out to Avon you will see Mortalis, Livonia has Rising Storm, Other Half had a location in Bloomfield, and a true up and comer is located in Canandaguia, Frequentem. Just over an hour from Rochester in Auburn is another stalwart, Prison City.
Love the idea of this show…Beer needs RUclips content that’s entertaining and informative…
This is the style we need, but missed the mark…a beer show that’s nothing to do about beer in the city? I’m not going to Pittsburgh to binge IC Light…I’ve been to Pittsburgh once long ago, thought it was a cool city. Would love ideas on where to go try craft beer. This show did nothing to help me answer that question, and I think the show THINKS that’s what it’s doing.
Right? Pittsburgh has some great craft breweries and new startups but you'd never know it from this video
Jacksonville, FL! Great breweries with great beer all over!
Ology baby! Jacksonville ain't bad :)
okay, stay with me here: birmingham alabama! there are some serious national contenders here and some up-and-comers. definitely consider it. don’t write off the south ✨
We have heard this! Birmingham would make an awesome episode. Kenny spent a couple of years in NC so he knows the power of the southern beer scene. What are your favorites in Birmingham?
Seattle! Epic beer city.
Huntsville/ Madison, Alabama is a great craft beer scene.
We've heard Birmingham is cool too. Might have to make it a double feature!
Miss my home town. Nice piece, thank you.
Dude, home is where the heart is. Don’t forget it
Come to Cincinnati, it's a city built on beer that once boasted the highest per capita consumption in the country. It currently has over 50 craft breweries, from neighborhood micros to places with regional distribution, and has a passionate, inclusive community of beer lovers.
You should definitely come to Baton Rouge, LA - the capital of Louisiana! We have some great breweries in the city and near by. I do consulting for 1 that is hidden and on a beautiful farm! Also, some other heavy hitters like Rally Cap and Parish close by. You won't be disappointed!
