- It goes on while we sleep without our knowledge, intelligence agencies communicating with agents hidden in our midst, huddle around their shortwave sets at the appointed time and day and receive their instructions!
This time I intercepted one of the transmissions and present a slightly shortened version with details and translation.
Nobody knowns (other than the sender and agent) what is being sent, we are not even 100% certain of the language used. Check it out, see what you think.
Weirdly I found listening to these very relaxing as a kid, as I did with white noise
I'd agree with that
I found the Time-broadcasts from Boulder Colorado mesmerizing.
boong...boong...boong...boong... tick... tick ... ... "at the tone... five hours, 45 minutes, coordinated universal time.. ... ...".. ..... _BEEEP!_ ... bing...bing...bing...bing...
Idk they kinda stress me
feels like im into some cod black ops shit
Feed your cat! Feed your cat! Feed your cat! Feed your cat!😁
I guess it's a hungry cat broadcasting it 😂😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Whiskas Made in Russia
This is not related to the video.
I wasn't aware this type of station still existed. I remember hearing one I. The 1980's which was in English. Around that time it was difficult to hear as the Russian woodpecker was pretty strong.
+footynutguy Good evening, yes indeed they are still around, not as much as back in the 80s but still around. If you have time check out my channel for more recent ones
+MikesMovies will do. Thanks.
+MikesMovies will do. Thanks.
Of course it still exists. Fucking stupid ass moron.
@@KandiKlover Dude, take a chill pill. Smoke a joint, chill out dude
This is really really creepy to me Idk why
Haha lots of people feel the same way
because for all you know these could be instructions to kill someone?
Just the way it's structured and the way it sounds is hella creepy
@@hdofu Espionage business doesn't kill as much (at least not since Stalin's death) many people have you believe. It attracts a lot of unwanted attention.
I think my grandpa has one of these radios. I'll try receiving scary ass russian spy codes next time I go to visit him
A friend of mine runs some army cadet radio training. To avoid them cheating and guessing words/characters he had them sending & copying random letter groups between each other. Very shortly after this they got stomped upon from on high as they had been heard by official listening posts and because such random group transmissions can be interpreted as spy transmissions they were told in no uncertain terms not to do it again.
Most interesting!
Liar
That's hilarious because I was planning on purchasing a shortwave transceiver and going to remote locations and calling out 5 number groups of randomly chosen page full of numbers just to get folks all excited. I was even going to invest in a voice changer to make it sound synthetic.
@@randybaumery5090 You are an absolute menace
@@The_Actually_Real_Elon_Musk I love pranks but harmless pranks.
It's just a Chinese takeaway order
Could be, in fact one X Russian intel guy said that some of their transmissions had been nothing more sinister than details of pay and short messages from home!
Ignorance, its polish
lol It's Russian...
its UVB-76
Harry Stevens operation doggy bag
Thank you for this amazing video, the numbers stations are absolutely fascinating and it's a wonder they're still around. Imagine being the person saying the numbers, I'd get chills and adrenaline every time even if i was just saying "we ran out of spanish paprika for the deviled eggs"
Glad you enjoyed it
Me: mom. Can we have cricket wireless
mom: we already have cricket wireless
Cricket wireless at home: 0:00
Great recording love the voice reading information about this station!
Thank you very much!
What you're actually hearing is a transmission that was made 50 years ago. That signal was sent out into space and was reflected off of Uranus and redirected back to Earth. It was caught in a Time Warp. The transmission was from a Chinese restaurant, someone taken an order. 😂😂😂😂😂 I have no idea what I'm talkin about, But I sure made myself laugh 😂😂😂 it's all in fun.
Laughing My ASS Off
it's all in russian
Might've reflected off Uranus, but leave mine out of it!
Yeah this really did spook me out. Its a campfire story legend. The difference is that its real
It is UVB 76.
1:40 is when it starts getting decoded
Sounds like they are ordering spicy fried duck with a side of fried rice, 2 egg rolls and light soy sauce.
Growing up I used a Hallicrafters S-38 to listen to shortwave. Later I got involved in other things. When the shortwave magazines were still printed I saw a lot of broadcasters shutting down so I have been interested in it anymore.
Nice intercepts, we don't hear too much Russian activity down this way...
Your use of the text-to-speech added an interesting degree of mystery LOL.
Cheers.
***** aww mate cheers, Really nice feedback glad you enjoyed it. What stations do you get down there then?
The only definite number's station thus far has been HM01 (Cuban Lady) along with a collection of maritime/aeronautical utility stations, various HF radar, oceanic, weather and military OTH.
***** Were you listening in the days of E10?
I dabbled in SW broadcast RX as a teenager but CB (and scanners) was my primary pursuit :)
I only started taking a greater interest in the last few years as my receivers improved... and I had sufficient space for bigger wire antennas.
Wow I didn't know people still listen to shortwave. Believe it or not I'm looking into it, getting a shortwave radio that is
Thanks, get a portable so you can get out away from the houses filled with PLT that Ofcom failed to control.
@@MikesMovies will do. Thanks
@@MikesMovies Hi are you in the UK?
Is there still many interesting signals you can pick up in the UK now or not? Seems like a fun little hobby but don't know much about it all.
On September 16, 2020, I was listening to this broadcast of the S11a, then a fast-increasing knocking sound started to be heard over the broadcast, which made the original broadcast unlistenable. That knock was very reminiscent of the radar known as the "Russian Woodpecker" that jammed radio waves during the Cold War.
Oh! could have been I guess
That was probably an OTH Radar.
The language is Russian. The station is operated by Poland.
Thanks for the info
So viewers, is this kind of video cool? do you want to see and hear more? Thanks
+MikesMovies Hell Yes!
Many thanks, more soon
Four years late but yes
yea it seems the airwaves are becoming used again...so any intercepts are great
Yes for sure !
each number represents a group, groups are then translated to pre codes...this is a old WWII type code, typical of 3rd world countrys for what ever...ordering fast food to full blown espionage, so unless you discover all the possible codes, it's really impossible to analyze !
1 time pad ! Russian ? Aveen dvat tree 123 in Russian ?
Polish ?
i will try to pickup the message again. Also thats rare.Stations like these dont broadcast so much as others do.
I've been hearing the Spanish lady numbers station almost daily the past two weeks on 11530 and 11430 at about 14:00 UTC/
Mystery 21 frequency :-) 73
I haven't tuned around the broadcast bands lately. Interesting this still goes on. The one I've always heard loud and clear was in Spanish.
Not so much of late sadly
@ann gola ?
Cuba
Is that your voice that cuts in around the middle? I LOVE the way the voice scrambler sounds and i was wondering what you used. You don't have to tell me i just wanna use it lol
AH right, I just used the normal MS reading voice and addes distortion to make it sound creepy like the real thing lol
I did pick up a transmission similar to this in very clear English
It was a female voice saying numbers and ended in a very weird tone
I do not know how and where I picked it up as I don't own a shortwave radio but I do know that those transmissions are going especially at night
By the way I live in Australia
Could be Cherry Ripe, E04
Much of the military and drone activity in the Middle East is run out of Australia, along with NSA surveillance of US citizens ( hello Edward Snowden). Pine Gap is one of the US’ most secretive military facilities, so you might be picking up something there. You might also notice some odd radar anomalies from time to time on the national radar, I believe the ones that appear on the north coast of WA are related to submarine activity, perhaps. As an Aussie, not wanting to get into the politics, I would like to see Pine Gap gone.
OH GOD THE NUMBERS
(COD Black Ops 1 reference to those who dont get it)
Probably the ‘Lincolnshire poacher’ station. It’s very famous and broad until 08’.
@@virginiaviola5097 But I bet you would gladly accept a Chinese military base.
Well could HAVE ME CONFUSED Mike ...
***** LOL Dave, I love a good mystery me :) The call up 376 is the agent ID, the 31 is the number of five fig groups to come in the message so 25978 for example is one group. Other than that we don't know a thing about it, other than to guess it must be aimed towards us as it was so strong!
MikesMovies Just hope the hackers dont get in to the computers like they have again in America ...Russian ....Chinese ...?? Its all I spy .....and hacking
Hi Dave, indeed hope not. This kind of spy is deep undercover however.
I often hear all this also, there are many strange things out there on the waves...
RustySkull Productions That's true indeed! thanks for watching
Is there any shortwave radio with recording function?
COOL NOW IM GONNA KEY UP ON THAT AND ON MY HF RIG AND SWEAR IN POLISH AND CALL FOR ANY JIFKA STATIONS THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember hearing tons of these on SW in the late 60's and 70's.
Tapioca....tapioca.....chocolate....tapioca......
Good traditional radio spy
Few and far between now
Reminds me of the days when listening to short waive in my youth......lots of hiss then some strange noise....often falling asleep listening .....and if all else failed Radio Moscow or AFN - American Forces Radio were always loud and clear.....interesting video 😀
mairuz1 Ah yes, happy times :) thanks for your support, new numbers station video just being uploaded.
AFN 50KW Transmission from Ireland as I remember. ?? 344 Metres MW. ? Long time ago. Transmitter may still be there. 73.
Here in Europe Voice of Turkey and CGTN Radio is always loud and clear
This is strange Russian. 3/three has two different sayings Troyka means for example I have Three items, were as saying Three in a telephone number or just in general is Tri (sounds like tree) same with finit for finish at the end, four I’ve always known as Chet yet, it’s Konets. To me this sounds like another country using the Russian to hide there identity. It’s not polish either or she would sound like the Oblique lady, the other Russian numbers stations on you tube say the Russian numbers correctly. As you can hear this very loudly and the signal is strong I wouldn’t be surprised if it was either criminals,British intelligence,German intelligence or French. All other Russian number stations or at least all number stations in Russian are not quite so clear/strong signal.
Sorry auto spell incorrectly said Four for Chetyre wrong. Finish in Russian is not finit either it’s konets
Thanks for the interesting reply!
@@MikesMovies I heard some kind of strange weather report on SW but I forgot the frequency, the voice over was by the same women that does BT Answer 1571 and call minder. Makes me wonder if major companies are behind some number stations
We, in the U.S. get the Cuban “ Numbers Lady” quite often.
Never heard any of the Russian/Eastern Europe, stations.
📻🙂
Its kinda like uvb-76
Yes I guess it is
i think big criminals using it also, because its so old
It is of course possible but most of these are known to be from government agencies
This is the buzzer m8
The commentary sounds like Sam the Machine from Sesame St
Not really russian, no such a word as odnojka, the girl is not native russian, some slavish language with something like chinese accent
Thanks for your thoughts
Never use google translate
ah OK what is the error?
Один, два, три, четыре….
Those are your standard Russian numbers.
What you’re hearing falls along more old ordinal.
Четвёртый,…..
Ps those are not polish.
They are Russian

These voice numbers are recordered in Russian with an accent
Very interesting
Great video 📻👍
Why do they do this? Can someone explain?
It's a checkpoint
nice work. how much did U spend on ur setup
+DidiPlayz Hi, that is a very hard question to answer as I have built it up over very many years!
you tuned into the buzzer
It's the winning lottery numbers she's speaking!!
I'll try that
Also, the actual Buzzer - the UZB 76 which previously transmitted from a military location I have personnally visited, never used this kind of synthesised messages. They used actual human voices
Wow exciting!

where did this happen?

I am confused. "Odinka" is not the Russian for 1! 1 in Russian is yedinitsa
RT pronunciation, bit like we say five er for 5?
You may all think that but i can not comment !
LOL how mysterious :)
It was just UGAR( have fun) because u can hear clearly they just like laughing 😂
You discovered the buzzer
Anyone remember the Lincolnshire poacher ?
AHHHH IT'S AN ALIEN THAT MADE THIS VIDEO!!!
Sophisticated enough to make that distorted voiceover, but not to connect the audio of the video directly to the source...interesting.
?
now they use internet, radio is old techonology
Russians...ordering Cuban sandwiches with no mayo. (Russians hate mayo).
Probably lol
If this was a legitimate spy message, why would they not encrypt their traffic...

That's uvb 76
How do you know these numbers
You can listen to them
That seem like a russian radio transmission..weird
It's rather russian, not polish
This Russians Developed a so Complicated Comunication System that i Guess They Cant Understand what they are Talking about Too.....
Probably right lol
@@MikesMovies this explains about they Loosing a lot on Ukraine War....they cant understand their own orders...
Why this method when encryption methods and digital transmissions are so easy to come by?
Tony Perone this is the only true type of encryption. Look up One Time Pads
The early numbers were almost always transmitted in German. This sounds like Chinese, but you know better 😀
Wtf? This sounds nothing like Chinese
cool thanks for demo de kd8ifj
1:40 AHHHHH! 😱😱😱😂
I heard something like this..only Spanish. Uno dos tress etc....Cuban..maybe?
Yes that is right, Cuban.
some of the numbers sound polish but also russian
Yes, odd isn't it
How do you find this ?
Hi, well sometimes we can stumble upon them but they actually follow a schedule changing frequencies every month
Conet project. This is lame. Its a numbers station on a frequency hold.
glad you enjoyed
The numbers Mason. What do they mean?
Haha we shall never know
S11a/S12
Sounded believable until I heard that robotic voice start saying something about a spy radio station.
+PantherBlast8086 I can assure you this is all true, the voices are machine generated apart from E25 and E22 these days. If you Google numbers station voice generators you will see some actual machines used.
MikesMovies So what I think you're saying is that the voices are from you (or whoever that's recording)?
LOL, nope the voices reading out the numbers are 100% real spooks using voice generating machines, the narration is done by myself also using a voice generator. :)
MikesMovies What I meant was the person saying something about a spy channel was from you?
ah yes that is Sonia
