I swear you used to do more of these scaping for other people. Much prefer seeing these scapes being created rather than constant high definition shots of tanks. Feels more old school but also gives so much inspiration for my own tanks
@Jaxxx365 I don't know exactly how many times I've seen George creating a masterpiece for a customer , but I think it's a great way to start 2024 and I look forward to seeing him making whatever content he wants to share 💙💚
I got a good laugh out of the filter making everything cloudy! I think we've all been there at some point! 😅 Looking forward to the update on this one!
Yep, definitely the purigen. I made the same mistake. Clouded the whole tank instantly. Read the instructions after the fact and it does say to wash before use. Done a quick water change and then let the filter do its job. Went away fairly quickly. Lovely scape mate.
Wow! I'm a plant gal but the hardscape is making me a tiny bit jealous! Love that you include the children...seeing my little grandson go straight to my tanks when he comes over is just the best thing ever! Only 18 months old and already a fan ❤
George that is a stunning scape. The balance between a beautiful hardscape, great plants, and some space.... it's all there. You nailed this one. I can see the 53 B growing up in the corner and making it more of a triangular composition. Just awesome work man. Thanks for sharing.
It’s looks beautiful though! Yeah I’ve used purigen for a while now and always rinse thoroughly before adding it! It’s quite cloudy when rinsing! Can’t wait to see an update mate!
Thank you for this. This will help me immensely one day when I take the plunge. I still have never had an aquarium but I have lurking for years. I can't wait.
George, this aquascape is AMAZING and exactly how I would want my tank to look. I currently have a 30 gallon hi-tech - heavily planted tank w C02 etc. Looking to upgrade to a high-end 50 gallon. Your aquascape will be the model I will use when I upgrade. Love the videos and the way you teach us and explain your thought process as you scape. Just Awesome! Happy New Year! FYI - Purigen is amazing, but you got to rinse it!!! LOL
I really wish Tropica was better about providing information and pictures of the plants on their website. I always have more questions about the plants I'm looking at and end up having to go back to google. I just want a little more detail about ideal growing conditions and images of submersed and immersed growth with labels. Also it would be nice if they added a way to search for plants by type. Like stem, rhizome, stolon, etc.
Hey George looks like you use oil in the bubble counter, I have the same inline diffuser and it says to use only water but that evaporates and needs to be refilled regularly?
Water eventually gets gradually pushed through by the CO2 under pressure. I use oil, non-toxic mineral oil, bought a big bottle a few years ago, but have only filled the bubble counter once, the oil stayed put. Hope that helps.
It always has an effect Even one stone But there are so many factors in play you simply dont know how much. Active soil, wood,co2 injection, and probably the individual differences between rocks theirselves also have an influence on the PH. So where it ends up can't know for sure.
Happy new year! 😊
Happy New year.
And to you!

You’ve got to stop making so many good videos, George… it’s really doesn’t help with my procrastinating!
Really nice aquascape I would definitely add a school of cardinal tetras or black neon tetras 🙂

Could you do a trip back of how you’d clean it? 😂 Those light sand mixes are the bane of my life to keep tidy but I love them!
Wow 😮
So aesthetically pleasing ❤
Beautiful scape !

This is so beautiful! Probably because you have an excellent Helper! Happy new year to you.
Hi George! Elegant work. Is it easy the remove the Filter floss/Glue from the glass later on?
Happy new year to George & your entire family...
Beautiful scape and knowledgeable as always

Yeah you should rinse purigen before adding to the filter. If not you get milky white water 😅

I always rinse purigen before I use it, but it clears up relatively quickly.
Purigen definitely needs a rinse.
definately the purigen, it needs to be rinsed well before use. it will clear in a few hours.

@@williammcdowell6257 Thanks
how do you know how much seiryu stone to use without it effecting your water hardness?
It always has an effect
Even one stone

Active soil, wood,co2 injection, and probably the individual differences between rocks theirselves also have an influence on the PH.

I know the girl in the video
One of your best works by far George. Looks amazing. What happened to you instagram profile btw?
