Was that including all the state taxes and dealership fee's ? (that's not too bad if it really was zero out of pocket , did you have good credit to get such a deal?)
@@flolou8496 GM pays the sales tax and license, registration, etc because they still own the car. I walked out of the dealership keys in hand for $235.71, and yes, I have excellent credit.
It’s really a nice car. The glare from the screens are blinding if the sun hits them at the wrong time. There is a no glare screen protector that you can get. It works perfectly. As for the charging of your phone, make sure all doors are closed. Also be sure to update your car software so it remains compatible with the latest iOS version.
At 12:40 reviewer mentions wireless charger not working. Should check the Monroney sticker. It probably doesn’t have wireless charging. Wireless charging is currently available on 3RS and 3LT trims. I’m pretty certain the vehicle he is driving is a 2RS trim. I have a 2RS trim and it DOES NOT have wireless charging but the area that can be used for wireless charging looks exactly the same.
I have the 3LT trim and it doesn’t have wireless charging either. I think it will be available on the 2025 models but is unavailable on all 2024 models 👎
You are correct! Apparently it is disabled for all 2024 models! That is my bad, pretty weird considering there's a wireless charging pad there. Would not have thoughts twice about it not having one!
I checked out a lease payment at Apple Chevrolet of Northfield for a similarly priced Equinox EV and the cost was $605 /month, Total Due at Start: $5,080
@@StillRapids Tonight I was quoted $530 per month for an LT AWD priced at 40,295. 15k miles 2,500 down 24 month lease. They told me that the 7,500$ tax credit couldn't be applied to the asking price, and was used to buy down the rate. Is what you're describing what happened to me? if so what payment should that scenario actually be? Another dealer said their 50,000 AWD RS , at 12,000 miles, 2,000 down, 24 months would be $469 per month . They said they were lying to me, and I don't know who to believe. I kind of got excited thinking I could afford one, and it was pretty disappointing receiving that quote, because I can't afford that payment.
@@SawyerQuinn Talked with my dealer in Wisconsin. Confirmed that Chevy Corporate essentially claims the $7500 EV credit for themselves when you lease.
removing the screen protector film from factory helps with the glare just fyi... Also the wireless charger hardware is there but its disabled for some reason for '24 not sure about '25.
I wonder what kind of residual Chevy is giving them. I think most manufacturers still aren't properly calculating depreciation on EVs. When most people qualify for the $7500 federal rebate thats a $7500 loss of value on day one (which should contribute >$300 to a 24 month lease)
Yes they do... using any feature in the car depletes the battery. It is typically not noticeable normal driving, however when it hits temperatures below 0 here in minnesota everything plays into how long you can get the battery to last. We have had many customers complain about this on EVs
@@appleautos I’ve driven EVs for 5 years. This is just fear mongering. Sure, running the actual heater causes more battery drain, but the 12v systems are not even going to register on your radar. That’s like saying the headlights and wipers reduce your range. By what? 500 feet? Who cares at that point. Make sure your tires are inflated, set your heat as low as you’re comfortable, and let those seats heat on.
Probably not much at all. It is probably more important for GM to get the factory up to and maintaining scale production volume than to get a higher price per unit. Operating a factory at scale thins out the fixed costs for everything in the factory.
I got mine $235 a month, 15k annual miles, 24 months. $0 down, only incentive I got was $3k bolt owner credit. (Didn’t trade it in)

I've learned from other commenters, even though the hardware is there. Wireless charging is disabled for all 2024s🤷🏻♂️

I would give them a call, that is not accurate.
they're trying to pocket your EV tax credit themselves

At 2:35 - 2:45 of the video the range numbers are reversed. Range is 315 for FWD (not AWD) and 288 for AWD (not FWD).

My deal on a 2RS trim has a 76% residual after 24 months.
What dealer gave you this lease deal?
Apple Chevrolet Northfield
Does the $7500 tax credit apply?
Music and heated seats don’t effect range lol

Feeling bad for GM ?
Taxpayers (US Gov) losses after the '09 bailout were 10.5 Billion! 2024 Gov. EV grant 500M. CEO compensation 2023 27.8M
Nothing, because Democrats will simply hand them more taxpayer money like they regularly do.
Throwing your money away....
Very inciteful...
