Nice Location. Bad shifting style. Dude your Bike got 6 Gears. Use them lol. Your Bike will life longer if you get little bit more care. But its your Choice. Enjoy your Trips and Ride Safe!
Thanks for your comment. With respect, I disagree. I have watched this video again after your comment and I'm upshifting at around 6000 rpm most of the time which is exactly the peak torque rpm of this engine. It is perfectly fine to use the engine at the rev range I'm using it in this video. Actually it would be more harmful to ride the bike at low revs all the time because of engine knock and carbon buildup. Also the bike would be quite boring to ride with no throttle response especially when going uphill.
I think the bike may be a 1250. The 1200s did come with that instrument console. I could be wrong but the 1200s didn't come with a TFT dash. An Amazing ride. Such beauty. Reminds me of home, Berchtesgaden, GE.
Thanks for your comment. This road and scenery was amazing. One of the best I have ever ridden / seen. TFT dash was an option in 2017 and 2018 model year 1200 GS. This is an 18 model with that option.
@@GrumpyRiderMT That's what I love about Germany, we didn't have the TFT option in the US until 2019. I have a 2016 GSA and used to ride with the San Antonio, TX BMW club (SABMWRA.net). My cousin, Hansi, lives in the Munich area and also rides. I've been trying to link up with a Germany club as a partner to our club but unsuccessful. Thanks for the reply. Best wishes to you and yes, the Alps are always amazing to ride through. Mike
