Very interesting species, you have an awesome collection. I don't have not one fern in my collection🤭. I used to have an Australian tree fern however that died a few years old due to extremely cold temps. Never really thought about replacing it.....until now. Very informative episode. Happy gardening.
Thanks for the botany/ecology lesson on the staghorns. I do the same as you, i compliment or apologize to my plants when I care for them ☺️. I love how each plant is so unique. I have 5 varieties so far. Do you like huzberia or tassel ferns? They are fascinating.
Here’s another rabbit hole :-) after aroids, Hoya, here we have a new collection plant! I have 4 different ones. They fit on a wall, which is the only free space I have anymore 😂
I grow them outside, as far away from Florida while still being in the US haha I grow them in the small island of Kaua’i, Hawaii. Do you grow any Platycerium?
@rockyfern that explains the coconut I have 5 species Next month I will receive 3 more Just started about 6 months ago I live in South America, the republic of Suriname Former Dutch colony Just under the equator The Grande is a slow grower as well as the Madagascariensis The Superbum, Wandae and Ridley are doing great That's the reason I ordered a few more
Amazing! Being equatorial, I bet you have no issues growing tropical with an abundance of humidity. You think you’ll create some videos to show off your collection? I’d be interested to see yours! I’m working on an update vid.
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants lovely collection beautiful
Thank you!

Thank you so much! I say definitely get a fern in your collection hahaha. Rabbit foot gets a decent size.
That Ridleyi is the coolest, I like the way you mounted it.
Oh wow! Thank you. I can’t wait until it’s fully shielded. I think down the line I’m going to do a ground pole mount and add some tillandsias.

Thank you! I do like Huperzia. I have 4-5 varieties that I’m trying to grow upside down. Which ones is your favorite? I love the H. nummulariifolia
