It's Goonies meets Stranger Things for Skeleton Crew. Also we got Friday herself Kerry Condon as a Jedi teacher. Also the teaser trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu that was shown via Twitter looks very interesting.
I LOVE the idea of the freedom to take Star Wars in different directions. I'm also a huge fan of scifi that explores ground level 'what lives are people living in this weird world?'

As someone who’s only enjoyed maybe 20% of the Disney era Star Wars, I’m actually looking forward to this. Heavy 80s Spielberg vibes, this IS my childhood
Many people might complain and say it looks like a suburban area. Yet people need to understand they have barely scratched the surface of this galaxy. We haven’t seen so many other worlds in Star Wars so I’m open to this new area.
Looks a lot like star trek prodigy…. kids get stuck on a ship going on forced quests who find a mentor (no spoilers) to help guide them through wacky galactic adventures in order to get home and end up finding themselves along the way. Could be that old “Flight of the Navigator” type of fun.
It feels like fan fiction where futuristic Earth kids get dropped into the Star Wars universe. I can't even tell when this is supposed to be taking place. Like, 500 years after the movies? Before the Old Republic? I don't know, but I'm tentatively interested.
apparently there is a character in the trailer named fuzzball who is an original character from Captain EO. Michael Jackson was a force user confirmed?
Wrong. Andor was 1 of the most different Star Wars shows we had ever gotten and the vast majority of people loved Andor, hence why it's getting a Season 2. Can't say the same for Crapolyte

I am a fan of Star wars not sure if i will watch it or not at this moment in time. I feel star wars is being rushed to much but saying that Star wars is for the whole family not just for me. We need to see more big films with loads of action in them
Going off the trailer I have faith in Watts, it looked fun but with words like Amblin and Stranger Things I can't help but feel Shawn Levy would have been perfect for this project. Goonies in Space, what's not to like.
This is new and different and innovative taking place in Star Wars and I’m kind of here for it. Still going in skeptical because unfortunately I’ve learned my lesson with this series when it comes to expectations but for the most part it’s offering something unique and refreshing that can’t be said about the other previous projects.
