Really helpful, I first bought the hub bearing assembly but after seeing your video I ended up ordering just the sensor. I also bought a 2 inch diameter PVC thing from Lowes, which fits perfectly on the sensor so I can hammer it down on the hub easily.
Appreciate all the little things you covered, flanges smooth, star tighteening, wipeing the drum clean, wire brushing the area before removing the abs item, excellent follow through!
I didn't see how he unplugged the sensor plug. I took off the sensor housing but spent an hour trying to unplug mine from the hub and stopped because I was afraid to damage it.
Easy way to install new sensor is to use brake drum, set it over new sensor as it puts even pressure on just the edges and use the drum to pound it in.
Great video man...now I have n idea how to remove n replace that sensor I love the third arm..ima grow me one too 🤣🤣keep making videos...I'm glad you move in a slow n fast paste ...20 minutes
My Dearest Friend, I really appreciate your Positive feed back. And it also makes me happy to know that I was able to help out! Best Wishes to you too and God Bless You As Well Friend. Thank you for your time to leave a comment! ✨💯😎💥✨
Why did you remove the entire wheel hub? I put my van up on ramps and access the sensors on the rear with no problems just what you did with little work. That was insane. That would be like removing the engine to get to the front transaxles. I have no idea why you did all of that. You only replaced the sensor. No bearings or anything else and tapping with a center punch or chisel. What was that for?
think for DIYers, it provides better access to the sensor when the assembly is removed. It's not that difficult to remove the assembly, but if I had a lift or enough room to get behind the wheel, I would go your route. Laying on my back on the floor and removing the sensor is a little tricky.
It was The Rear Abs sensor. Also later on, the ABS CONTROL MODULE was bad so i switched it out. I posted up a video also on how to change the abs control module ruclips.net/video/cs1AHIWkg-o/видео.html Since i replaced the Abs control module to this day… no check engine light or abs light. Module cost $272.66. It was refurbished. Just had to mail mine back to the guy who fixed them on ebay modulerepair(17167) Heres the link www.ebay.com/itm/333594001280 modulerepair(17167) is 💯 legit
Just go to Oreilleys or Autozone. Let them know what part you need by giving them the make , model and year of car. They will pull for you the right part. Or you can go their website and punch in all info and it shall give you what part and number you need.
Is there a difference from rear? Can I mix them up? My Africa mechanic fkd it all up cutting them as could not unplug them too stupid so he cut them I moved to Sierra Leone from Canada now I mcquver it
If you trying to put abs sensor from front to back. That will not work. If you want to mix the rear abs sensors with left and right abs then yes and yes also with hub bearing you can mix. Only with back hub bearings.
can you do a front wheel semsor for the sienna please? im being told to do all 4 sensors would be a 5 hour job. the way u did the backs atleast 1 hour. just need to know how long for the fronts with harness
Poorly designed abs sensor. A compression fit will eventually let go and the sensor will fall out. My son's rear sensors are being held in with a couple of balls of masking tape and a couple of metal coat hangers
Glad to find this video. This is only one to match 2011 venza Toyota. You have boosted my confidence, thanks.

@@meazz1 awesome … cowabunga!!!
You the man thanx, great job
Only recomendation is putting the sensor back on you can use a big c clamp and a piece of wood to squeeze it down evenly
Thanks for the advice!!

Does the ignition have to be turned on to get voltage to those abs connectors. ? Or is it constant voltage sent even with no key in ignition?
Yes, the Ignition must be turn on.
Yes, the ignition needs to be on.
@@TheEtixzShow car doesn't have to be running just in accessory mode?
Yes, correct !
It's a 4.6 AC Volts or DC Volts?
Keep up the awesome work 👊🏼💯

Did you find the defect with the speed sensor? It could also be the magnetic ring which is the second half of the sensor.
It was The Rear Abs sensor. Also later on, the ABS CONTROL MODULE was bad so i switched it out. I posted up a video also on how to change the abs control module

I sold my van. No longer have it. But i forgot to record front abs sensor replacement. But it took me less than 30min for each front wheel.
@@TheEtixzShow thank you. I will show this video to my mechanic

Is this ABS sensor or wheel bearing?
Abs Sensor
Man just buy a whole New wheel hub assembly off of Amazon.
I agree that's what I did entire hub wasn't that much
I feel you bro!!!
Great idea. I had to do that anyways cause i had to beat the fuck outta the hub assembly to get it loose
