Easily the finest interpretation I've ever heard of 996. This is so rich, florid, viscereal, brusque, spontaneous of affeckt, yet more than sufficiently Prussian-structured to cater to Left-brain's fetish for ordnung. And, lest I forget - this Lute-harpsichord by Keith Hill shows why he is the reigning king of all such instruments. In fact, I highly doubt any maker in the 18th century could equal him, at the 'gut-strung' harpsichord.
He uses quite a lot of rubato in the allemande, makes it sound quite different from most guitar and lute renditions that I've heard. And the courante was really well ornamented!
Incredible speed and accuracy. =)
Could use less reverberation in my opinion
