      The creator of Leptos has a RUclips channel (currently 246 subscribers) called Greg Johnston. I just saw a tutorial of his explaining how to create a simple reactive webpage with Leptos. Explaining how to set up an event system and get the components to react to the changes.
      While the example looked too long for something so simple. I'm excited because someone could use this crate to create a higher level crate that simplifies the implementation, but still keeping the runtime efficiency.

You’re lucky with a person like her by your side. Ever since I changed jobs I’ve seen the impact of having to put in more work hours on side projects, or other things. So like you I’m extremely grateful for having a lifetime partner that supports me all the way. So cheers to your wife!

    I've recently started using MoonZoon as a full stack rust framework.
    It's also quite new and incomplete, but I'm thoroughly impressed so far.
    Where Yew had me writing html (not my forte), MoonZoon is pure rust for the complete parts. This means compile-time errors rather than run-time issues which result in a blank screen.

  • @fenkraken
    @fenkraken Год назад +9

    As much as I would love to write everything in Rust it'll be a long time before it will catch up to better optimized frameworks like Solid, or at least Vue/Svelte... You can, however write your frameworks compilers in Rust like people in Qwik are doing it, so that's really cool.

    I would greatly recommend you checking out some react fiber projects. Why you might ask? From my experience they HAVE to optimize things in and when using React. The way you wrote the React example is still a wonder.. like that it performed in the first place. But with the output you're making you can easily rewrite some parts of your app and greatly improve its performance. Just remember.. the FCs are just functions being run, if the internals of react run your function's hooks it can show the update. But if you can live with a reference because you are making animations... Well now. You can skip parts of this equation. Tbh that is why React is so popular, if you know what you're doing you can write three js animated scenes with excellent performance. And if you're not you still get the job done, just a little slower, or with less lines of code if you prefer.
    Anyway. Great video highlighting your excitement for the other lesser known framework. Though do give React a little more credit when being handled by more seasoned veterans 👍
