There are some other remarkable points in the movie - for example all the characters wayyyy toooo old to be college students, all the students doing everything only at nights - going to library at nights, college function taking place at night, singing, dancing, driving at nights etc. But you know what was the scariest part? Sohail Khan' s expressionless face throughout the movie!😁
As a kid I was a huge Hiten Tejwani fan.I was really excited to see him in a movie and thus watched it almost 7-8 times. Now as a woman in her 30's ,I realise I never concentrated on the plot and was just being happy seeing Hiten in one or two scenes and was even happier that he didn't die :D

That damn song was used in Kasauti Zindagi Ki (the Sweta Tiwari version, not the Erica version) and it was the Prerna-Mr Bajaj song (not KSG but OG Mr Bajaj - Ronit Roy). Har dusre scene naya naya lyrics bana ke woh log bajate the iss ko. Aur hum 90s kids ne internet ke bina hi jo pregnancy ka matlab sikh gaye the Ekta se serials dekh dekh kar ab yeh gaana trauma ke tara yaad kar rahe hain
For more comedy content in horror xenre you can switch to Ramsay brother's horror movies.e.g. tahkhana, purana mandir, samri, purani haveli but for a great content veerana movie is all you need

Very insightful. And I think you made a fair point here. They did have a very capable execution for b grade horror movies, and were actually serious about the campy vibe of those, which often worked. Bollywood might want to experiment with the indulgent gothic vibe of that era.
@TheQuarterTicketShow Vikram bhatt movies were all bad even if they were hits in bollywood , even the OG Raaz was copied from what lies beneath with desi masala. Dino was horrible and movie was only hit because of Bipasha & Ashutosh Rana & Goosebump scares , rest check out no Vikram bhatt movie was a huge success. He was a copy master ! 😂😂😂😂 Tukka lag gaya tha. The only best horror movie or thriller with deep psychological connection was Raaz 2 with Emraan hashmi. First , Raaz 2 had magnificent songs for all time just like Raaz 1 , Raaz 2 had a far deep rooted story connecting the ghost with corruption of the system (Evil company owner) and the bonding between Jackie shroff & Emraan hashmi was great , Emraan hashmi (whoever thought of giving him that painter guy who speaks slowly & subtle with Gothic look) was totally mind blowing ✌️❣️❣️❣️ he is one of the best performers of Indian movies. One day public will realise that they don't value this gem. His acting is tons better than Salman or hyped masala actors. Emraan was great in Ek thi Daayan too. Raaz 2 ke baad only 1920 and 1920 returns was great because of Aftab. Not one good movie with great story , writing or acting has come ! I will not say tumbaad , its a great movie but its not bollywood , its south indian movie. Raat totally played with fear and gave you psycological fear rather than showing you scary faces. The moment you realise Revathi meets herself in a dream sequence just to meet her own self that is actually the ghost playing psychological horror is so so creepy and ahead of time. Bollywood is done now. Anyways i believe you too like Raaz 2 the mystery continues. No wonder it was a big musical hit as well as a well made horror movie. Post that every Raaz is trash. Ramsay's created a factory of their own ,dishing out b grade horror with enjoyable stories , deep thoughts , on top of Cheesy & campiness. They were greats. They can never be replicated. Bollywood kind of died when they made trash like "Creature" or Raaz reboot. I value the art and I told you which ones mattered.

Not gonna lie , the song ' suna suna' ( or whatever the original name is)really freaked me out as a young teen. I could just feel the menacing stalker ghost vibes 😅.
