If it is genuine and reasonable your application is already way ahead. For job dont worry man, just try to focus on studies and count your pennies and save unnecessary expenses. Moreover when you feel the need of job you apply the same rule which you used for getting the admission i.e clarity of thoughts. Very good point for CV, just dont make it sound lucrative make it real and include only most relevant skills. Once again dont feel intimidated, just take the first step and wish you Good Luck!
