As you fire rounds it plays the correct sound until the mag is expended. My issue with it is that the motor is much louder than I’d like but firing correctly it does make the infamous Pulse Rifle noise.
@@SentinelGiga I have never seen a video that has it play the pulse rifle sound. I have the person modifying it and another who made custom plates for it and neither believe it sounds like the pulse rifle. Lol. I don’t know what some of you all hear but I want to hear it too! I’ll be making a follow up when my custom one arrives soon, so I’ll go in depth with the sound.
There's a Brown Bess custom one on ebay for 250.00 not bad considering the bone stock ones are going 150.00 to 199.00 I'd be happier with a modified one
if your counter is 00 like it was, the noise is an empty rifle noise. set it to 99 and see what happens also the grenade launcher also has sound. if you tested that, you would have found out. the door on the top is to clear jams. the reason the counter goes to 99 is because when ripley loads a fresh mag in it goes that high, or 98. they wanted it to be somewhat screen accurate. as someone who collects nerf, this gun is unique. standard nerf drums and mags do not work with this gun because the catch that is normally in regular nerf rifle mags does not exist in this one because it has its own way to secure the mag. also for those wondering back in the mid 80's manufacturers were no longer allowed to market toy guns that looked like real ones. hence the awefull paint jobs. aparanlty just having the orange cap in the front was not enough anymore lol
Got it yesterday. Sanded, primed.... ready to finish painting tomorrow. Then its two days of weathering for a near perfect move prop that will go on my wall. Fantastic value for a 1:1 prop. Awesome!!!
I've seen half a dozen of these reviews and you are the only one who's picked up on this. I suspect the others aren't half as familiar with the source material as they are making out. Guessing your slot is for when the gun jams. Given it was never going to ship in gun colours I think they did a good job with the colour scheme, fits with the power loader aesthetic.
Yeah, I appreciate the power loader inspiration considering it being NERF. If you read through the comments you’ll see most people that are NERF fans first get a little butt hurt by my concern of the audio 😂
For the sling you can us the QD mount system. One part is mounted to the rifle. The other part on the sling. They are spring loaded and are quick detach thus the name.

The door is for clearing jams. The darts can get jammed up inside. I mostly observe nerf from the sidelines. Have not really bought one of their blasters since the zombie themed ones. And X shot is really outperforming Nerf in every way.

It actually DOES make the correct sound, but with the motors and pusher sounds it sounds like a basic gun firing sound, if you lightly hold the rev trigger, lightly squeeze the trigger, then let go of the rev trigger you can bypass the lock and hear the sound without the flywheels
WTF. The sound that it makes in the video is the empty mag sound. It does this when there are no darts left. It makes a pretty nice sound when you fire actual darts.
The speaker doesn't have great volume (and it's pointing away from you during use, unless you're using it lefty), and it's not easy to hear over the motor and other working parts. The grenade launcher sound is kinda lacking, too. And, of course, it's plastic, so the mechanical sound of racking it is... puny.
I would love to see the percentage of people that bought that would ever actually use it as a nerf blaster. Haha. Pretty sure most of us are here for the looks

thats the sound of the auto pusher when u pull the main trigger , would of been better if hasbro had of used the hyperfires drive belt to push the darts into the flywheel ,there wouldnt be a thwacking noise and a less grumpy face

@@NostalgiaUnboxed true ,ive been modding performance wise and cosmetics on nerf blasters for roughly 13 years , I can see the potential for either performance based modding or cosmetic modding (cosmods) for this rifle ,i would do both as it would make a great wall hanger ,, tho the NIC (nerf internet community ) is always quick to point out where Ytubers go wrong in their reviews

I have it ,as well as the Snow Wolf airsoft gun. Like them both but intend to leave the nerf as is because the colors are inspired by the power loader.

I'm sure all the 8 year olds running around shooting each other with Nerf darts are going to be devastated at the inaccuracy of the gunfire sound effect. The fact that you have a near 1:1 replica of a movie prop weapon, from a 36 year old R rated movie, sold as a children's toy for $99... is the impressive feat.
Another minor issue is the name: M41-A. The US military does designate versions of guns with the A or B at the end but they never hyphenate them. So, the name would be M41A. I think this is what it is referred to in all other places other than by NERF.

Dude.....it has different audio when the gun is empty. You missed it because your clip was empty so it made a 'click' sound. Try listening to the firing sound when you actually have the ammo counter up lol smh, you should change the video title or reupload

The sound effect is diff due to licensing. The real sound can’t just be used without an expensive license that would jack up the cost. Hasbro isnt stupid. Their hands are tied. Plus, it’s a kids’ toy and it can’t sound like a gun either. Kiddified.

It makes the proper sound when it’s fully loaded.

What you are listening to is the empty sound. It sounds better with darts in the mag or the numbers wound up to 95.

To me, i believe it is the movie sound. The differrence is that its in sync with the rate of fire..and this gun fires slower than the movie gun.
