I hope I'm not the only one who's used to having a high stoneguard. Kenworth's in NZ, most of them have stoneguards that cover half of the windshield XD
They put too much love in some truck brands but totally forget others...
christianbro2 Agree with you! SCS please give the Volvos (my favourite) some love. And take a look at the Renaults. They haven't really been changed since the game released.
You guys simply don't understand. SCS needs licensing. In ATS SCS has fully finished the volvo VNL however Volvo USA is refusing to give a license for them to use it in the game. Many of you also complain about where the new gen scania is. If you look at the bella italia dlc, they put it on the cover, so clearly this indicates that the truck will release when the map dlc is ready. Then you guys complain about love. WHAT THE HELL, SCS gave lots of love to scania, you complained. Now SCS gives love to DAF, you complain. Jesus Christ give them time man. Renault hasn't given SCS a license yet to put the renault T in the game.

christianbro2 those DLC'S were made not because SCS want it, instead the Truck Brands were going to SCS and said "hey, maybe you guys could make a DLC with that stuff?". There is no Volvo DLC because Volvo didn't asked. Also Volvo USA don't even want to give the license for the VLN, Same thing with Renault.

What a shame there is no true interior customisation like leather interior, etc! It's what I would customise in my truck first.

Yeah. I've been driving the XF105 for years. This DLC isn't bad, but I think that the SCANIA pack is better.
Georg1979 I think this looks better than the Scania DLC. But Scania will always be no.1
I prefer Scania trucks, but this dlc is way better than mighty griffin. After driving the scania for so much time, I think its time for me to switch to the DAF. Especially after so much time.

I'd be happy too but i doubt I'd buy them. The only tuning packs I'll have is the mighty griffin (scania), daf and volvo.

I mostly drive modded trucks like RJL's SISU for example so I don't really drive SCS stock trucks. Not that they are bad or anything but I like driving something different. My point is that I don't drive SCS Ivecos (dashboard very hard to see) and renaults (just don't look good imo) however I do drive modded Ivecos like the turbostar and Renault T. so theres your answer. It would be nice to have tuning packs for all trucks but as I said, I only like 4 SCS trucks being the scania, volvo, daf and mercs. Anyways I still prefer modded trucks so yea...
Great review Squirrel :) You kinda forgot to mention that they also updated the DAF to the 2017 model - especially with the 2 new interior options - would have been cool to side note that as well ;) The DLC is just awesome. Instantly purchased it right after I saw the announcement :)

Same, i have all the dlc. Cant leave one out for daf. Even though i barely drive them anymore...
I don't drive DAF but I will get into it now, they seem pretty nice.

OMSI 2? what do you mean, OMSI 2 is a stalled project. The creators left it to collect dust. And it is so unstable, bad performance and poor graphics. How could you say it is way better than ETS2
Kind of buggs me that the engine sound of the xf 105 is still a stock scs engine and not a recorded one.
Has bastinaansen. Yes, that kinda sucks to be honest with you, I stopped driving the dafs and moved to the scanias because of that. If not I would still be driving them to this day...
Guess I'll be making a 105 Bling truck just because but the 106 gives me some ideas for a really classy truck. Can't wait to try them out.

One small thing about ETS2 that has always bothered me is the fact that the amounts you're getting paid do not change regardless of currency. If a job pays 35k in Euro's, it also pays 35k in Pounds Sterling, or USD, or any other currency. There's no way to play the currency conversion game, and it makes the different currencies seem worthless.
It would be cool if the trucks could rust, it would be much funnier in my opinion. And after driving my Volvo verry looong it don't feel so realistic that it's still in brand new shape. It feels like the trucks get more "passion" (don't know what other word to use). It would also be cool if they could get dirty, they have placed carwashes around all the map.
You forgot to add the new Side Markers that you can add to the lower bull bars or skirts

Only DAFs I like were the Turbo Twins. Would actually like to see one of these running down the blacktop here in the US.

They added new interiors

But that is not a part from this dlc. its free with the new facelifted daf
I almost bought this then I noticed its just DAF and I don't use DAF
There are a new chassis for the xf105 with extra tanks in it giving you 1500liters of diesel onboard the truck, it came with the dlc

hello I'm a Dutchman I want to tell you that I do not know exactly whether it was the update or the DAF dlc myself think it's the DAF dlc because since the DAF dlc has come out you have 2 or 3 more hp bottom 530 hp and you forgot to show it.
Squirrel, do you think they'll make DLCs like this for say, the Kenworth W900 in ATS? I'm using one of the mods for that stuff atm but would love an official DLC...
but people without the DLC cannot see the modifications. i think they should change that

That was an event DLC in December 2016 and January 2017. You can't find it in Steam.

Make sure that fatigue simulation is enabled in the gameplay options.

The Scania pack is called the Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack.
Ok, that explains it, thanks, I have just never bothered looking at all these packs really, im just into the map and the cargo, take to long to make a truck to be how you want so I dont bother, im never happy with it either way so after a while I just give up and go default again with most things as it came when I bought it.

SCS hasn't given an exact release date. (They hardly ever do) However, they're currently targeting the end of the year.

Squirrel, I need your help ! I updated my ATS to 1.28 and it won't start. I deleted evbey single mod of the Documents mod folder and check the integrity of every single file. Can you help me somehow ? Thanks a lot in advance !
MS Edits You might want to do a clean install.
voice check I've solved the problem...I tried to check some cfg files and I corrected some strings that were incomplete for some reason. Everything is fine now :) thank you anyways
