I have encountered up to 8 tubes, where the challenge is to find the answer for the 8th tube.

Thanks, I received a mail from PwC to complete the assessment and it mentions that it contains behavioral and aptitude tests. So does this mean there will be other tests included other than the one mentioned in the video? This is for the graduate role
@@YOUinConsulting Your assessment is made up of two sections - a behaviour-based part, and an aptitude part. The behaviour-based assessment contains no questions. Then, we'll compare those strengths to the ones linked to success in the role, company culture, or both. The best way to succeed? Just be yourself. Then, we've designed the aptitude part to test your reasoning ability. You'll need to apply logical reasoning here, interpreting the information you're given to solve a series of problems. Therefore, we recommend taking a break before beginning these tasks - 'Sticky Notes' and 'Analysis'. You can leave your assessment and return to it after an hour, two hours or even the next day. if this was done on the phone or tablet (not computer), how would the Q & P operate - would there be a left and right button on the screen, or do you have to use a built in keyboard?
Hey this was super helpful thank you so much! I just thought I’d let you know at 20:34 when u start talking about expression, I believe you used the word beginning with R to describe this game. Please note if this is what I think you said, it’s quite offensive to use in the UK! Just so you are aware, I’m sure you meant no malice by it!
Hey thank you for your feedback and your thoughtful comment! Interesting, I did not know it was that offensive. I just meant in the way of "the most stupid" game, so I cannot use it for that?
Hi, while placing strips on the laptop screen before sequence game, do we get time before the game starts to view the positions of circle? so that i can place the strips in correct position below the circles. giving test this week for aemo-australia energy market operator
You should be presented with a brief tutorial before the game starts allowing you to familiarize yourself with the grid. You then place the strips on the grid lines between where the circles start.
Thank you for the video! I my assessment today and think it all went pretty well apart from the electricity game. I did each power lever twice at the start and ruled out one of them as it gave a negative return. The one that gave 100+ hit me with -1250 quite frequently so I stopped using that one and just used the two 50+ ones which had little decreases every now and then. So I think I ended up somewhere between 2000-3000 by the end. Because I was still quite short of the 6000, does that mean I probably failed the test or because I showed some logic I will still get credit? Once I selected the two I was going to persist with I started clicking pretty quickly so hopefully that doesn't look too bad.
Hi Chris, thanks for sharing your self-reflection. I think you did right by recognizing the "quick & greedy" solution did not work out. You recognized the pattern and avoided that switch and chose the more risk-averse approach, which the software probably regognized. However, as said in the video, it is a black box and we do not know exactly what it detects or not. Anyway, you did not go bust, so I think you should relax and wait for your results!
I revised through these videos but the questions were completely different! I got the balancing shape and sequencing shape game! This is so frustrating
Hi there! Are you sure you took a version of the Arctic Shores assessment? If you read through the comments, most viewers face 1:1 what they see in this video. However, it is normal that Arctic Shores tries to innovate and develop new games that may appear for some candidates. At some point, that implies I shall make a new video 🙂 Still, I hope you benefited from getting into the "playing" 🙄 mindset and have rocked your test!
Thank you for this video! I have never heard of these kinds of tests until now. Most of them seem quite nonsensical and like a waste of time and ressources to be honest.
Yes, Arctic Shores is very good at "hiding" its brand, but its Skyrise City games are used by many companies for their branded online assessments. Pymetrics is another provider of a gamified online assessment. Yes, these "games" are disguised as fun, but actually used to filter the applicants, just as all the other "more established" online assessments. I'm glad you are aware now 👍
May I ask you why you even bother to do research on the Arctic Shores test after you have already successfully completed it 😀 No, it is not trivial to pass these tests whereas of course it is not impossible either! Furthermore, each Arctic Shores client company may set individual threshold levels, which can vary with their fluctuating hiring targets. I say a bit more about this at minute 05:08 of the video. Good luck for your interview! 😀
I hope I came to the right Channel, as I just received this: Amazon Apprenticeship Application-Invite to the next stage from Arctic Shores. Is this video enough for the preparation? Has anyone done this before?
Glad you found my channel and video 🙂 Yes, this video covers the Arctic Shores assessment that awaits you. If you browse through the comment section, occasionally a handful of new games appear in addition, but this tutorial still covers the 10 core games of the test. And please report back on your test & question experience 🙌🏼 Good luck for your test!
No. Games like the balloons game, the energy game or the security game do not have a time limit. Others do, such as the sequence, directions and ticket games as well as the patterns and analysis assignments.
No panic bro! By watching this video you probably already know more than 95% of other candidates 😀 I'm afraid I'm not aware of free practice games, there is complete solution of the Arctic Shores assessment, which is a paid one: breaktheice.youinconsulting.com/ You can also watch my Pymetrics games video tutorial to further calm your soul 😉 given there are a lot of similarities between the two assessments.
I had the misfortune of being confronted with these games. Just seems this company has found a way to scam money from big companies with psuedo psych tests. But that said thanks for the tips, maybe i can find a way to get past this bull.
Hahaha thanks for your candid words! 👌 Where you cannot change reality, you can at least brace yourself to face it 💪 Well done, Sir - good luck for the test and enjoy the "games"... 😉
@@YOUinConsultinghi, i have an up coming exam for AEMO, should i expect similar games in assessment? And any thing extra i need to be prepared for test? I want to reach any level to practice and clear this test
Hi, does AEMO stand for the Australian Energy Market Operator? If it still deals you the Arctic Shores test, then the games in the video are those to expect. You can watch some parts of the video again during the breaks between your games to refresh your mind. I think there is no need to acquire further knowledge. Hello, Could I pay you to do my assessment? I’m so tired of being rejected, I feel because I’m neurodiverse I’ll never get a chance to get into certain companies, this is so unfair. I’ll applying for graduate roles but I’m starting to feel discouraged
Hi there! Thank you for putting your heart out there. First, I am sorry about your frustration. As per my understanding, neurodiversity describes a situation where a brain works different from the "norm". Does it count as a disability? I mean for all tests, all companies and test providers claim that if you come with a certain condition, you should contact them in advance to taking the test so that they can make adjustments, such as giving you extra time. I am not sure whether this is to your disadvantage, given companies also have diversity hiring targets, and in some countries, are encouraged to hire employees with a disability. Second, I am receiving a surpringly high number of requests from applicants who ask me to take their test on their behalf. I am afraid this is illegal and I must reject such requests. Depending on your specific situation, I suggest you find out what is the best way for you to prepare for and take such assignments.

M8 I just had a test on amazon jobs started with a game which is not mentioned here or anywhere at all: called the "balance game" ... any info on that? Not even AI gave a correct answer on these I think.. no chance to check results or logics behind it. Hardest thing ever in my life.
Hey mate, I am sorry that you struggled with the Balance game. It is a new game Arctic Shores has launches after I created this tutorial; maybe I need to do an update video some day just on that game. Some other candidates have reported about it in the comments here as well. I keep my fingers crossed that you have nevertheless managed to get through 🙂

Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback, that is super interesting 👍 You are the first person reporting the "balance" game - would you mind sending me an email? I am happy you think you have managed to pass, and thank you for giving some credit! 🙂
which firm was this for?
I had the balance game too! It was the worst one of all, all essentially too much algebra in not enough time, written as confusingly as possible.

@@SweetPeaPod12 Yeah it is pretty tricky and although i thought I did ok theres no way to tell yet, and I could have improved. Also a lot of companies have different levels they want you to reach. Hopefully you did ok! I got rejected despite doing well in all my games but then they re-opened for the same role lol, i reapplied and they just skipped me through, then i got rejected at the next stage haha. Is the simulation you have provided in the document free of cost or paid?
Thank you so much, I was so confused by the energy one.
Haha glad we could sort that out 😉
I think I did pretty bad in that.. managed to get the Energy down to zero!
I knew that performing an electric wind god fist( a perfect frame move ) would be useful somewhere in the real world
Huh... Can you enlighten me in regards to the context of the electric wind god fist?
@@YOUinConsulting yeah its a move from the fighting game tekken that requires you to press two buttons at 1/60 of a second. Some of this training actually translated in the tasks that requires you to process data really fast, like the one with the arrows. I got a really high scores on those from what i can tell from the results.

Most welcome! Thank you for your kind comment 🙏
Thanks, I received a mail from PwC to complete the assessment and it mentions that it contains behavioral and aptitude tests. So does this mean there will be other tests included other than the one mentioned in the video? This is for the graduate role
Hi! Could you copy-paste the exact test you have received?
@@YOUinConsulting Your assessment is made up of two sections - a behaviour-based part, and an aptitude part.
The behaviour-based assessment contains no questions. Instead, it's a series of engaging, intuitive tasks. As you respond to each task, we'll collect data that paints an accurate picture of your natural strengths.
But please don't miss your deadline!

What does this mean
Get it 👍 The first paragraph certainly refers to the Arctic Shores game. Analysis most likely refers to a numerical test. I have heard it is 18 questions long, then ut could be the SHL - Numerical Reasoning Test (you find a video on the SHL test on my channel, too. Sticky notes I am not sure.
Kindly report back 👍
HI , I HAVE receive the same email from them , how was yours ? i hope you pass it .
if this was done on the phone or tablet (not computer), how would the Q & P operate - would there be a left and right button on the screen, or do you have to use a built in keyboard?
You can press the buttons on the screen
Hey this was super helpful thank you so much! I just thought I’d let you know at 20:34 when u start talking about expression, I believe you used the word beginning with R to describe this game. Please note if this is what I think you said, it’s quite offensive to use in the UK! Just so you are aware, I’m sure you meant no malice by it!
Hey thank you for your feedback and your thoughtful comment! Interesting, I did not know it was that offensive. I just meant in the way of "the most stupid" game, so I cannot use it for that?
@@YOUinConsulting Nope, it's a slur that is quite rude to those who are mentally disabled so probably best not to use that word

@@YOUinConsulting thank you. And when can i expect the feedback after the assessment?
That solely depends on the efficiency of the recruiting process of your target company 😀
@@YOUinConsulting Thank you for your help :)
How do I do this on my computer. Is there a way to put this on my monitor display at 10:03
You usually take the test on a smartphone or tablet

You take the test typically on a mobile device, so you can take it in your pijama as well 😉
I revised through these videos but the questions were completely different!
At some point, that implies I shall make a new video 🙂
Still, I hope you benefited from getting into the "playing" 🙄 mindset and have rocked your test!
Would you mind saying which company this was for ? Sorry to hear that!
I'm glad you are aware now 👍
I really can't find a strategy to do the energy game. Please help😥
Hey! I introduce a strategy on how to approach the energy game at 11:03 of the video, did you see it? 🙂
@@YOUinConsulting I manage to hit max 7000. Does that mean I aced that part. 😂.
Does the scale not just reach up to 6000? 😮
@@YOUinConsulting I started with 3500 and 7000 was max. Basically start spamming 100 and then play safe with 50
Your strategy sounds about right 😎 Sounds as if you have hit the jackpot 😉
I did this test completely blind and got an interview from it. I get the impression the tests aren't necessarily easy to pass?
May I ask you why you even bother to do research on the Arctic Shores test after you have already successfully completed it 😀 No, it is not trivial to pass these tests whereas of course it is not impossible either! Furthermore, each Arctic Shores client company may set individual threshold levels, which can vary with their fluctuating hiring targets. I say a bit more about this at minute 05:08 of the video. Good luck for your interview! 😀
@@YOUinConsulting Thanks, yes it must have been a low bar

Glad you found my channel and video 🙂 Yes, this video covers the Arctic Shores assessment that awaits you. If you browse through the comment section, occasionally a handful of new games appear in addition, but this tutorial still covers the 10 core games of the test.
And please report back on your test & question experience 🙌🏼 Good luck for your test!

Does every question has time limit?
No. Games like the balloons game, the energy game or the security game do not have a time limit. Others do, such as the sequence, directions and ticket games as well as the patterns and analysis assignments.

AEMO is a dog for making applicants do this
Just checked, do you have to take it for AEMO = Australian Energy Market Operator?
@@YOUinConsultinghi, i have an up coming exam for AEMO, should i expect similar games in assessment? And any thing extra i need to be prepared for test? I want to reach any level to practice and clear this test
Hi, does AEMO stand for the Australian Energy Market Operator? If it still deals you the Arctic Shores test, then the games in the video are those to expect. You can watch some parts of the video again during the breaks between your games to refresh your mind. I think there is no need to acquire further knowledge. If you want to practice the test in a simulation before taking it, there is the paid simulation available.
I do the test for airbus and it was exactly the same test.

Hello,
Could I pay you to do my assessment?
Thank you so much for this video
