For a doctor stoppage hit them with a southpaw head kick then switch to orthodox and jab up the left side of their face, they’ll most likely already be cut from the head kick so if you jab the cut enough you should get a stoppage
um they aren’t the same they are similar but not the same and to the guy saying the roster is the same as 4 ur clearly dumb 4 has every fighter and so does 5 but 5 have got fedor mike tyson and ali

It's irritating. I can't get a ko at lighter weights because every fight ends due to cuts, every fight in my career has been stopped to look at my opponents cuts. This game is garbage, EA doesnt know what the fuck they are doing
For context, I live behind my jab and really only throw power shots if I'm confident they will land. I play on pro difficulty and typically land with about 60-70% accuracy, but most of those are jabs to the nose or leg kicks, maybe a push kick or a counter hook or uppercut here or there when i have them sidestepping or ducking/shooting a lot. I'll have my opponents nose broken, but I've had fights stopped where that's the only damage, a broken nose in round 2.

Even with the resistance set to max, 20-30 jabs and straights to the face causes a cut. Not much after that is stopping the fight. I've had maybe 3 fights go to decision, a handful of ko's, and a fuckload of doctor stoppages. It's not the strategy, it's the fact that cuts are way to easy in this game. If you're decent, your opponent won't make one round without a cut. I don't even throw elbows or knees, literally just jabs straights, leg and body kicks.. the occasional left hook on a guard break.
Those graphics are rough to see. At least the ones in the thumbnail are meant to be Gaethje knocking out Masvidal, Aldo and Dern choking Weili out? If so, bah gawd, they remind me of the Switch version of MK1. And you know this is not a good comparison
Bro, in ufc4 there is a knockout similar to the supposed "new" one, which is the T.K.O, you can get it if you hit the opponent several times in the stomach or legs
I don’t get why everyone is complaining about this game, I personally think it’s awesome. It’s pretty logic why it looks so similar to ufc 4 because it already looked great, like how do you want a different jab when it’s already a good jab.
It has nothing to do with how it looks and everything to do with how it plays. And the gameplay from 4 was dogshit. The wrestling and ground and pound was worse than Undisputed 3 from 12 years ago. They somehow made wrestling and ground and pound worse in UFC 5. headmovement is basically useless, it's faster in this game but cost way too much stamina to even justify using it. You're still dropping people 10 times a fight. You still gotta wait for falling animations to complete before you follow up hitting your opponent, so to clip someone and just stand there watching them fall. Simulation mode is a joke. Every fighter has the same animations, no uniqueness outside of a select few. The worse clinch system in a ufc game makes a triumphant return. Literally the only things better are doctor stoppages/damage, updated rosters, and 60 fps. The subs are okay, better not great, kind of half assed. They could have made it to where there's no submission health bar, and you just need to transition through each stage of a submission, with the stages required being higher or lower based on how high your rating is for that submission... but no, they just half ass it like everything they do. $70 please. EA is the company that told Dana that MMA isn't a real sport when he initially went to them, then these money grubbing fucks had the nerve to buy the rights after THQ went bankrupt. Now we get increasingly lazy games year after year. That's why everyone is complaining about this game, and thank you for coming to my TED talk.
