It’s 2022. The fact that there are still colleges that are based on skin color is unbelievable.

You'll seem like fine people. This seems like a fine broadcast put together very well. But having content exclusively meant for one race is inherently racist... Was this the intent?

What was inherently racist is the fact that we even had to have HBCUS in the first place but thank God we do!

I don't want to assume this comment was inherently ignorant or even intentionally obtuse, but as the other comment mentioned the entire establishment of Historically Black Colleges was a result of a society that barred Africans in America from gaining access to predominantly white institutions. It's very interesting how social circumstances forces "one race" to prioritize developing their own institutions for community survival and development then when said institution gain momentum, naysayers now feel slighted and forgotten. As Toni Morrison stated, "I didn't want to speak for Black people and I wanted to speak to, and to be among them… it's us. So the first thing I had to do was to eliminate the white gaze."

@@Kid20Kiel well said!! The SWAC has existed for almost as long as football has been around. No one had an issue bc top black athletes never attended. Now!! All of that changes and it’s an issue, it’s hilarious! Take a look at the rosters, there are different ethnicities that want a chance at the next level & NOW HBCU can give these young men a chance. That’s what it’s about, showing growth in the black community building US up so we are strong 💪 and smarter!! They hate whenever they see growth and it sad! Once again great comment
