Yes Chris. It is indeed a powerful exhibition and it is an indictment of all those members of the public and present N Ireland Assembly politicians who openly support/praise the horrific actions of the bombers and killers.
I agree Joan. Now we have the very people who were and remain cheer leaders for the bombers etc, sitting in our Assembly, telling us what we can and cannot do and telling us they somehow welcome this exhibition. An exhibition that places themselves firmly in the judgement seat. Are they blind? These poor folk on the walls only represent a very small fraction of those who lost loved ones, limbs, eyesight and property. The stories of these folks needs to be constantly recalled instead of being glossed over and seen as some sort of collateral damage, by people who loftily preach to us that there was no other way!!!!!
Hello Tom , very sad and as you said thats just a fraction of the people that lost there lives , I still can remember every day going back and forth into Ballymoney having to stop each time at the barrier so they could search the car for bombs putting the mirror under the car to look , I still find it hard to believe we went through all that Tom have you seen the documentary The Departed its a hard to watch . Thanks Tom that great work by your man Colin Davidson.
Such a waste of life and such heartache and such rampant destruction, all for what? Oh I remember it all too. But these poor folk that live on live with the consequences of it everyday. I haven't seen the Departed Shaun. I too find it difficult to go over the past because it reawakens sleeping anger about the injustice of it all.
Saw this exhibition many years ago at the Ulster museum. Colin Davidson is such a talented artist. He captures the pain and sorrow in the eyes of each portrait. Is this a current exhibition at Stormont?
Yes indeed SM. It is there until the end of April. It is a wonderful way to spend a morning by going to see it in those marvelous historic buildings. I don't know where it will travel on to. Many thanks for calling in. Colin Davidson has indeed such a talent. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
Colin Davidson such an exceptional artist Tom, I carn't find the words Tom but it brings back memories very close to home.

Thanks for showing this Tom. I am speechless at the horror of it all. Such a lot of pain and heartache.
