this is great, i appreciate you showing how to get more out of what you have rather than promoting GAS as so many youtubers on here do. come back! if you want
Hey, awesome stuff man! Which sequencer did you use? Does your method work with any cv/trigger sequencer and even with standard envelopes? All the best from Austria!
DJ Free Thanks so much, and great questions! The sequencer is the Korg SQ-1, but any sequencer that has pitch and gate/trigger will work. I'd definitely encourage trying this out with a standard envelope; the results may be a bit different, but you'll find something good for sure. 👍
YourBestChess Now : Hey! I think you'll want a mixer that outputs into your VCOs v/oct pitch input. You'll want to run your melodic sequence into a channel of the mixer at full volume/intensity, and your percussive envelope into another channel with intensity adjusted to taste. The two signals will be added together, similar to what separate inputs on a VCO would do behind the panel. Mixers are great for adding multiple modulation sources to filters as well, much like many classic hardware mono synths! (Envelope, LFO, and keyboard.)

Is there nothing that Maths can't fix? Thinking of attenuating Donald Trump with my Maths!
Atenuverter please - otherwise it gets even worse ;-)
Or maybe it will blow him up, like a speaker? He looks like he is going to explode any minute..
How does one do this patch if they do not have a mod input on their VCO ?
