Old City of Hyderabad has a totally very different kind of politics than rest of the city or rest of the state. Old city in many ways is an isolated part of the state exception being Tourism and Biryani.

I am from Telangana, and i live near L B Nagar which is the part of hyderabad. The work which you have done is admiring. The opinion taken from the the old city is quite different from what it is. I hope you will visit another part of the Hyderabad other then old city for batter view on Hyderabad or Telangana

As a North Indian who has stayed in Hyderabad for 4 years, I really love Hyderabad and the people, the food, the culture etc there. I can surely say that people there are way better than us North Indians. Lots of love from Madhya Pradesh

So here's the explanation
The main land hyderabad and cities around it is highly influenced with kcr and his party because ghe actually did some good stuff here, and if u look at the results map at election Commission website brs won most seats in hyderabad and around but loss in other like villages, u can say that congress won in villages and bra won in cities

Old city doesn't look like developed . And the party is winning since 1989. Every Polarization causes a counter polarization. Rise of BJP is inevitable in the state. Now they have 15% votes in assembly also. It's very tough for BRS to continue without an ideology.

In assembly polls, INC won less seats in Urban areas but it swept the Rural areas
I will give toda bhakt gyan. BJP helped congres not just with EVMs but ECI dancing tot he tunes of central govt put spokes for BRS for months issuing notices for non issues wehre as congress was given a free hand, with no notices not cases even as congrss openly used maa behin chutiya and more vulgar comments about BRS leaders and their family. AS ECI was one sided people were made to believe that tehre is something wrong with BRS otherwise how can ECI do this (as most rural voters are illeterate and they thought if congrss is openly abusing CM's wife and daughter with derogatory terms and CM can't do anythign probably he is a corrupt coward etc etc). But for BJP congrss secret alliance. tehy woudn't have together crossed 30 or 40 seats. got bless you for your englithenment.

As a Telangana people. BJP will get 5-8 seats in Telangana from a total of 17 seats. 1 old city hyd which owasi gets, which you visited. So oldcity is just a small part of Hyderabad which is owasi stronghold. But it doesn't represent the sentiment of Telangana people. N there is a chance for BJP coming into power in 2029, if they use the opportunity. Congress came out of nowhere in Telangana. BJP is still in the game. We all had our talk before elections that we vote for congress in MLA and for BJP in MP. Mark my words.

I am a big fan of this Sunday Bharat series, It really shows that we live in a diverse nation that does have some ideological differences but at the same time people also have love and compassion for this country as a whole and for people from different cultures
As im from andhra and eligible for speaking, kcr once was in TDP(The main ruling party at that time even now but not ruling). For context, TDP was created by a popular actor Sr. NTR in early 90's(Grandfather of Jr. NTR you saw him in RRR), and kcr was a leader of NTR's fans association. NTR insisted kcr to join his party. But when CBN(Son-in-law of Sr. NTR) became cm, kcr didn't get the mp ticket. Thats why he left the party and created TRS. In one way you can say, Telangana is divided only on kcr's own selfishness. He fueled all the Telangana people for getting their own state just for him to have power. And Hyderabad is what it is right now is only because of CBN. He developed hyderabad. But the Telangana people only seed one side and not the other side. And now because of that andhra is struggling to grow from scratch cuz they got the most developed part of andhra. Now Jagan got elected in the last term, that guy is literally draining all the funds and using for his own benefit. And there is alot pf story around this you need to search if you want like chiranjeevi(he is a popular actor and father of ram charan) he made a party got 14 mlas and sold all those 14 to congress. So that congress got the majority which led for them having power etc. So in simple, it was started by CBN, continued by chiranjeevi and ended by congress.
And all the stuff like development and hightech city was built by CBN, not KCR. Well KCR also did some good job too but still majority of the infrastructure was already there which was built by CBN, he just maintained that! And no I'm not a fan of CBN. But these are facts
