Interesting. Knew some of the royals over the period 1975-1979. The Battenburgs had a huge role in the operation and many missions included diver royals from UK, Germany, Norway and Danish royal family special forces and divers. It was air land and sea. They cleared out of Queen Alexandra's Royal Navy Reserve after 1979 might have been due to this. Some of our missions had faced enemy divers. RIP Ingrid of Sweden, Princess Elizabeth of Denmark, Andre d'Abord and Crown Prince Henrik Counts de Montpezat, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, Constantine King of the Greeks and Max Marberg of Baden.
